I'd say it was made in the mid-twentieth ... morecentury. Maybe 1940s-1960s. This is 2 feet wide by 2 and one-half feet tall and the wood on the sides is 1 and 3/8 inch thick. It has a locking drawer and a primitive way of locking the poles in. A rod is locked in place when the drawer is closed. A small dowl is missing from the locking device. This can be replaced. It doesn't show so it won't detract from the looks if you don't replace it. The key is included. Nice little dovetails. I haven't seen one of these before. It may be one of a kind. Vintage wear. I've shown a place where someone scratched on the wood. It looks like a kid did it. It looks worse in the photo than it does in person. This is a nice primitive if you collect fishing gear or you have a lakeside cabin that needs folksy details. Genuine old. Not a reproduction. This elaborate trunk features 9 panels(3 on the front, 3 on the top, and 3 ... moreon the back) of intricately carved and detailed scenes in deep relief. The trunk is adorned with an abundance of brass trim and hardware. The brass is engraved with an elaborate design which features a scaled, fire breathing dragon. The serpent is done in a scrolling pattern which is repeated throughout the face of the brass. The brass is secured with large brass nails/tacks. The trunk is raised on 4 small legs. The inside contains a sliding top tray which moves freely, from side to side, via a larger wooden bottom that rests on wooden strips attached to the upper interior of the trunk. There are two large interior hinges which allow for smooth opening and closing of the trunk lid. A large lock on front fastens the lid in place. There is a large handle on each exterior side. The handles feature a decorative, engraved back plate. Each corner of the trunk is decorated with brass trim that highlights the dragon. THERE ARE TOO MANY DETAILS ON THIS TRUNK TO CAPTURE IN THE 12 PHOTOS! This is a beautiful. Elaborate and large trunk. It is in very good, antique condition. There is some minor evidence of age. The brass engraving has some minor areas of wear to the pattern in a couple of areas. There appears to have been a second lock on the front which is missing. One of the side handles has been reattached with two brass screws and the brass tacks are smaller on the back plate than the other tacks used on the piece. There are a couple of areas of minor splitting of the wood on the face only, which is common. None of these issues are major or distracting from the trunk. Overall, the trunk is in extremely nice condition. IT IS SIMPLY STUNNING! The trunk is large and measures 48" wide. 25" tall and 21.75" deep(front to back) The interior is 15.25" in depth(from top to bottom) The sliding tray is 18.5" x 16.75" x 2.25" The trunk is VERY HEAVY.

Primitive Handmade Halloween Jack-O-Lantern Make-Do/Painted Wood Cutting Board
~Welcome to my auction.thank you for viewing my prim offering~ This listing is for a"spooky" Halloween jack-o-lantern make-do that has been created by me for your primitive decorating! The make-do can be hung anywhere.on the front of a cupboard door or from a peg on a shelf.by the fabric loop at the top. The jack-o-lantern is made out of hand dyed orange wool with a layer of cotton quilt batting inside. The wool background pieces of the button eyes and the nose have been hand stitched in place. The mouth is a twig that has been hand stitched in place and the jack-o-lantern has a real twig for a stem. I stained the jack-o-lantern with my coffee/vanilla mixture and stiffened it to hold its shape. I then added a green homespun ticking tie to the stem. I have attached the jack-o-lantern to an old wood cutting board that I painted black. ... moreI sanded and stained the board.after painting.for an aged and prim appearance. I placed stems of Sweet Annie and pip berries behind the jack-o-lantern. I added a prim tag with the word"BOO! stamped on it. Overall. Primitive Hand Hewn Printing Wood Block w Hearts ~ Antique Textile Stencil Stamp
Here we have a really wonderful primitive woodblock printing stencil or press with a heart motif. This woodblock has a super time aged patina. Remnants of red paint on the sides and square nail construction. It is all hand hewn& handmade from two pieces of heavy hardwood. This stencil or press has wonderful evidence of wear and use marks on the back. The main motif is that of two large flowing hearts and they are flanked by many smaller hearts. There is a hand hewn impression on both the top and bottom for use as a handle or grip. It has a painted block number on the side of"31344" and a red"B" on the opposite side. There a few bent tines within the smaller heart designs that can most likely be straightened. On the top is a very small wood lift and a tiny chip that are only noticeable under through examination. There ... moreis a later bent eye hook positioned towards the top for hanging. This piece has an amazing patina and measures 9" long. About 3 1/4" wide, 2 1/4" deep and weighs 1 pounds 12 ounces. They have adjustable bindings on each ski. The second ski has a crack at one of the attachments screws seen in the last pic. These are 70" and probably could be used. Set of five DiDWare solid american walnut wooden salad serving bowls. Manufactured by Diversified Industries Division. Independent Stave Co, in Lebanon, Mo. Each bowl has its original label and model number. They are in excellent condition, 1 or 2 having a tiny dent(i wouldn't call them nicks) around the edges. Only one of the five looks to have any wear from use, the other four look unused. Each bowl measures 5 1/4 inches from edge to edge and 2 1/4 inches deep.

I am selling an old antique barn door roller attached to an old piece of barn wood. The markings on the door roller say"Myers Stayon" adjustable. Ashland O.U.S.A. Pat'd Feb 26 07" The numbers 2969 and `1688 are also embossed on the cast iron material. HEAVY. I'm assuming the date of manufacture is 1907. Or possibly 1807. I may end up clipping the point of the wood to make it straight across to help it fit into a box and not be so pointy for shipping. Did I mention that this is quite HEAVY.
