All of the bread made for families were made at home and not a store. It took a lot of bread to raise a family and particularly families farming and working the land. Having the lid on the dough of the bread helped keep the dough clean and the warmness helped the dough to rise for baking over the fire. There are unique elements of design that I have rarely seen before. At each end of the lid. There are little circular notches cut out and on the inside of the dough trencher there are inverted notches. What a unique way at this time period to sort of lock the lid to the box. This likely a driver is in used fair condition. The head is FAIR as it has cracks on the front and back of the neck(see pictures) and has a chip near the toe area. The leading edge has some light dents. No cracks on the Hickory shaft. The original shaft has a slight bend. The length is 42 1/2�. This right handed putt ing cleek model is in good condition wit h light pittings on head and nicks on leading edge. Minor bag/play marks on face. The head stampings are good and clear. The hickory shaft has a very slight bend with No cracks. The pin is noted and might have been repinned at some point. there's a slight bend of the hosel near the pin. The longer than usual leather grip is good but is slightl y loose. Leng th is 3 1" and it's not cut down as some early putter are made short. Nice hard to find putting cleek. Antique old Jack Redmond Playable D4 wood shaft Golf driver 1920s
Hi. You're looking at a Used Jack Redmond( likely Pro golfer at Raleigh Carolina Country Club in 1924- source from a very helpful long time golf collector) wood shaft golf club. This club likely a driver is in good condition and has been revarnished. There is one tight hairline crack on bore thru wood(see pic) I don't see any other cracks. It seems that this club had varnish wear and then the new revarnished job over the old one. The leading edge has nicks. The hickory shaft has a slight St andrew's Bend and is in good condition with no cracks. The leather grip is fair with light aged cracks and minor separation and hardened as with all leather after over 90 years. Lenght is 43" Playable club as the swingweight is D4. Hi. You're looking at a Used Wilson Success Blonde headed wood shaft golf club. This club likely a driver is in good condition. There head has some varnish wear and light discoloration on the sole. There's some wear on the black slip plate and nicks on leading edge. The head has no cracks. The stampings are good. The hickory shaft has a slight Bend and there a couple of nails holes near the t op grip that cracks the butt. The leather grip is good and has slight separation. This likely Driving Iron club is in Fair condition with pitting on head and light nicks/dents on leading edge. Head has been cleaned. The very few stampings are worn and I can make out R/P as the main name and part of Warranted and Special. The hickory shaft has a very slight bend with No cracks but does have wear near the hosel( see pic) The leather grip is good. Leng th is 40 1/4" Swing weight is E2. Tracking included for lower 48. Boxes measures 8 1/2" x 6" 1/4" x 3" Interior measures 6 3/4" x 4 1/2" Interior has a mirror and a removable tray. Tray is covered in bright red ultra suede as is the bottom of the box. Overall condition is very good. Some minor dings and scuffs. Mirror has some spots of discoloration commesurate with age. Interior of the box has some discoloration from the fabric on the tray. It has a fixed liner of black plastic and is marked to the base with the Dansk Designs logo and Quistgaard's initials, IHQ, Thailand. No other markings found. The exact age is unknown but known vintage. BOMBER" WOOD LURE CONDITION: We inspect every ... morelure with a 10x jewelers glass! This lure measures aprox. 3" long. The"Bomber" wood lure has what we call"General Use and Aging" scattered throughout. You can see the Fisherman use and aging of the older lure in the photos. Our use of the word"multiple" means the lure has a combination of in excess of(10) blemishes. General use blemishes include the following: Small hook nicks. Scratches, hook swing marks, hairline scratches, impressions, paint loss, and light soiling scattered throughout as seen below. The hooks and hardware are slightly aged. Vintage antique wood Fisheretto fishing lure-Hand Painted-EXCELLENT SHAPE~! Here is a neat little bait; a Fisheretto. Out of Minnesota. Six brothers, Sam, John, Bill, Mike, Tom and Ed started making these lures in 1918 in their general store. The Brown Brothers continued making these great fish catchers for the next couple of decades. By the time WW II had ended, so had their lure making. Every single bait they made was carved from wood and hand painted; no two are exactly alike. Somewhat crude in appearance. But effective in the northern waters of the U.S. Most of these have painted eyes; this one has the seldom seen washer eyes(Luckey, 8th edition, pg. 208) This one is in superb shape; I doubt it was ever tied on a line. Hawaiian Koa Wood Bowl estate find… This lot consists of an antique hand crafted Hawaiian koa wood bowl. It measures approx. 8-1/4 of an inch wide and 6-1/2 inches wide across the opening. The bowl stands about 4 inches tall. The bowl is hand crafted and is in good overall condition but there is an age split in the top rim and two dings in the wood. Nice aged patina to the wood. Art Nouveau Vase of Wood with Hand Hammered Copper Cover
A unique copperwork vase from the Art Nouveau workshops. It appears to be signed by Sarah Charles. The vase is made of wood and covered with a thin sheet of hand hammered copper in a lovely floral design. The design and detail is fantastic! Measures 4" square at the base. Just under 3" square at the top, and is 10.75" tall. One small tear in the copper cladding near the base on one side, but this item is 120 years old, and this is the only damage I can see. Weight is always the total weight of the object and may or may not give a good idea of the scrap value as I do not guess the weight of wood. Mirrors, screws, bolts, or anything that may not be silver or gold. For the sake of accuracy, weight is posted to the nearest gram but occasionally, if very heavy, in ounces. My scale computes to the nearest gram and it has been tested and calibrated. All my items are measured with a standard tape measure and are rounded off to the quarter inch. I attempt to be as accurate as possible. But odd surfaces can prove difficult sometimes as I lack a pair of calipers. I do not take apart or clean anything after listing an item. It is up to the new owner to clean silver and other metals. I am happy to ship overseas. But be aware of your country's customs laws. I have had items returned at considerable expense and I cannot be held accountable if my items cannot make it past such inspections. A note to silver scrappers: There are those who will claim that the weight of an object is less than advertised

I purchased this puzzle at an estate sale and the gentleman believed that the puzzle was complete, however, I do not have the time or patience to put this together.
