This elaborate trunk features 9 panels(3 on the front, 3 on the top, and 3 ... moreon the back) of intricately carved and detailed scenes in deep relief. The trunk is adorned with an abundance of brass trim and hardware. The brass is engraved with an elaborate design which features a scaled, fire breathing dragon. The serpent is done in a scrolling pattern which is repeated throughout the face of the brass. The brass is secured with large brass nails/tacks. The trunk is raised on 4 small legs. The inside contains a sliding top tray which moves freely, from side to side, via a larger wooden bottom that rests on wooden strips attached to the upper interior of the trunk. There are two large interior hinges which allow for smooth opening and closing of the trunk lid. A large lock on front fastens the lid in place. There is a large handle on each exterior side. The handles feature a decorative, engraved back plate. Each corner of the trunk is decorated with brass trim that highlights the dragon. THERE ARE TOO MANY DETAILS ON THIS TRUNK TO CAPTURE IN THE 12 PHOTOS! This is a beautiful. Elaborate and large trunk. It is in very good, antique condition. There is some minor evidence of age. The brass engraving has some minor areas of wear to the pattern in a couple of areas. There appears to have been a second lock on the front which is missing. One of the side handles has been reattached with two brass screws and the brass tacks are smaller on the back plate than the other tacks used on the piece. There are a couple of areas of minor splitting of the wood on the face only, which is common. None of these issues are major or distracting from the trunk. Overall, the trunk is in extremely nice condition. IT IS SIMPLY STUNNING! The trunk is large and measures 48" wide. 25" tall and 21.75" deep(front to back) The interior is 15.25" in depth(from top to bottom) The sliding tray is 18.5" x 16.75" x 2.25" The trunk is VERY HEAVY.

This is a superb silver travelling communion set made in 1876 by George Unite. The set comes in it's original fitted case and comprises of wine jug. Goblet and paten. The set is of superb quality and is beautifully chased. The wine jug has a domed pull off cork stopper with a lyre shaped finial. The body of the jug has a round spreading body leading down to a stepped round base. It has a pouring spout to the front and handle to the back. The ewer is engraved below the top rim'This Do In Remembrance Of Me' The wine cup/ goblet has a flared and rolled rim above gently curving sides and it stands on a stem of columns above a round stepped pedestal base. The goblet has the inscription around the top'Drink Ye All Of This' The paten has a raised rim and stands on a flat base. It is engraved'I Am The Bread Of Life' All three pieces are beautifully chased and decorated. The wine jug is 2 inches/ 50 mm in diametre and it stands 4-1/4 inches/ 107 mm high. The goblet is 1-3/4 inches/ 45 mm in diametre and it stands 3-7/8 inches/ 98 mm high. The paten is 2-1/2 inches/ 63 mm in diametre and it stands1/2 inch/ 12 high. The set weighs 198 grams. The pieces have matching hallmarks- lion passant. Anchor for Birmingham, duty mark, letter b for 1876 and maker's mark GU for George Unite. All three pieces are in excellent condition with no dents. Up for auction is an amazing rare lot. Here's what you get: 1996 LIMITED EDITION Frontier Town Lincoln Log set. This isn't to be confused with the common 1997 set. This is the set made in very limited quantities in 1996. This set is almost 237 pieces it is only missing, a canoe, a horse, 1 door(blue) and 1 flag. It might also be missing 1wooden piece, but I counted 3 times and 2 times I came up with the correct amount, 1 time I was missing one. I assume it's a full set of logs but it could be missing that one. The rare part of this set is it was done with a dark rosewood stain,like the original logs were. This set is in the original box, an instruction sheet is included. An empty LINCOLN LOGS WOOD COLLECTORS EDITION BOX- which is numbered on a brass tag on the box. Next owner will certainly decide to show the flute to his personal repairman, but the instrument plays pretty fine right now. This wonderful instrument delivers Louis Lot wonderfully rich and full tone. Combined with an exceptional singing quality and a special dark and haunting touch that early Louis Lot flutes are able to deliver. Please look at the perfect oval cut of the embouchure hole! RARE VINTAGE 1920'S GEORGE P. MOSSMAN STYLE 1 KOA WOOD UKULELE & CASE
Excellent example of a Mossman ukulele produced by George Paele Mossman in the 1920's. Flamed koa face. All solid koa body,neck and fretboard. Ebony friction peg tuners that hold a tune and work well. One tuner appears slightly different so I am assuming it was replaced at one time. The ukulele is in excellent condition. I have never seen a finer example of a ukulele from this era. What makes this uke so special besides the wonderful condition and superb tone is that it is one of the very few surviving examples of a Mossman ukulele that was apparently distributed and rebranded by the San Francisco importer Jules M. Sahlein under his Y' Ke Ke label. It sports both the Mossman Hawaiian crest decal and remnants of the Y'KE KE decal on the headstock. The paper label inside is the Y' KE KE label initialed J.M.S. This is a quality ... moremade instrument that is suited for both the collector and player. The original frets should be redressed to make this uke perfect, 90 years has resulted in shrinkage allowing the brass fret wire to lift up from original seating. I have for sale a pre-owned small wooden jewelry box. It is a light walnut finish in color and does not come with the original box. This auction is for both hoops batter and resonant sides for 14” snare. Your chance for a bargain here as I am listing them with an opening bid of half the cost of a new pair. 24 ply and very solid. Hoops are perfectly in round. Gives a slightly shorter decay and very loud cracking sound on rim shots. Have only been used for a total of maybe 4-6 hours. Not beat up at all on the batter side and still look practically new. There are a couple of small nicks in the bottom outer edge of the batter side hoop and that’s it. Will be packed with care.
