Carl Goldberg's 1/2A and.15 engine size VIKING free flight models were two of the finest free flights I ever encountered. Of the dozens and dozens I built over the years. The VIKING looked the most like it meant business and flew just great. The FAI VIKING wing span is 65" The engine shown on these plans is a Cox TD.15. But a nice O.S. or Super Tigre.15 was used by many. ALL of the parts patterns are shown on these plans. These are the original plans I received in June. 1963, and Carl himself wrote the construction article. My copy of the article is a bit darker than I'd like but the original magazine had darkened with age in my attic. I show an old ad from a May. 1964, magazine describing the Goldberg kit. The coasters are about 3-7/8" by 3-1/8" rectangle shaped. When all stacked all together. The set is about 3-1/4" tall. There are no cracks or large gouges. However, there are signs of scratches and some beverage rings on some of the coasters. Nonetheless, this is still a handsome set of coasters. I have noted any major defects. But all posters should be assumed to show signs ... moreof wear. Posters have been given a condition grade according to the following guidelines: NEAR MINT. NM: Virtually unused; only the slightest signs of wear. FINE. F: Light use with no serious defects; multiple minor issues; a relatively clean specimen. VERY GOOD. VG: Average. Moderate use; expect variety of cosmetic flaws including tears, edge bumps, creases, scuffs, or light staining in borders, some wear at major fold intersections, etc. GOOD. G: Heavily used but probably presentable if framed; image area is not significantly damaged. Likely to contain major defects such as moisture stains or wrinkles. Tears larger than 2" or small holes or edge pieces missing. Picture Notes: The picture shown is a photograph of the actual movie poster you will receive.
