The credenza has a slight serpentine shape, and paneled doors on each end with an attractive curving style. The crendenza has five (5) drawers, one of which has dividers built-in for flatware, and two (2) doors, that each open into large storage compartments with plenty of space and adjustable shelves in each. The crendenza has short curved legs. There are some small areas of veneer loss on the front of the piece, and these areas can be seen in the photos. There are some stains inside the drawers, which have dovetail joints. I am unsure of its age or manufacture of the piece.

EASTLAKE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN CARVED QUARTERSAWN OAK SIDEBOARD CABINET CUPBOARD
This sideboard was made around the time that Eastlake pieces had started to be constructed using oak vs walnut in America and when Eastlake was becoming less popular and Art Nouveau was the"in" thing.around the 1880's through the 1890's. So this solid quartersawn oak sideboard has the best of both worlds. The base has two drawers and two doors with lots of storage space inside. The doors are paneled and have very cool shell and foliage carvings. The hardware on the drawers and doors is original and there are two different keys which will lock and unlock each door. Besides the carved paneled doors. The other interesting carving on this piece is kind of a feathered or herringbone type carving. The top of the base is clean and in very good antique used condition.no major issues. The top has a shaped original beveled mirror ... moreand panels on each side and carving above those. The support columns are really nice turned columns with lots of detail and turnings. The very top is an Art Nouveau style crest. This sideboard will break down into five pieces.the base. The top, the crest, and the two turned columns so easy for transport. This is a spectacular piece with a beautiful original finish and a very pretty(and practical) marble top. It is made from solid chestnut finished very dark in the classic Breton style. This cabinet is in very good antique condition and it's very sturdy and solid. The only defect of any significance is the back panel that shows at the back of the plate rack: it is cracked in several places. When we bought it. This back was covered with contact paper(ugh! Here is an exquisite. Massive, Antique 19th cent. American(probably Horner) quarter sawn oak sideboard buffet server. Straight out of a Long Island estate. Was in the same family for 70 years. This piece was made around 1880 and represents carved oak at its best. Incredibly carved with lions' heads. Paws, ribbons, and scrolls. Doors are all carved scrolls with center cartouche. They are separated by 2 columns of carved ribbons and fruit. The drawers above have handles of lions' faces. The top is crowned with an incredible lion head. The only condition issues are a small ring stain and a darker area on the top front right. Also a thin slit in the wood appx 18 inch long. These are very minor and can easily be fixed. Beautiful antique Japanese tansu chest. Dating to the Meiji Period(late 1800's) This piece is from the Shiga area. Renowned for high quality craft sm anship. Originally the upper section of a two piece mizuya dansu. Or kitchen chest. Hand crafted using fine mortise and tenon joinery. The case is made from hinoki. Or cypress wood, with sugi. Or Japanese cedar panels. The drawer fronts are fashioned from beautifully grained keyaki. Or zelkova, an exotic hardwood indigenous to Japan typically used for accents on high quality tansu. The sliding doors featu re hinoki frames with keyaki panels. The drawer pulls are hand forged iron. The chest has been thoroughly cleaned. Waxed and hand buffed, and has a rich, lustrous patina. Scranton Attic. Kroehler Mid Century Modern Walnut Server/ China Cabinet. Wonderful. Walnut server made by"Kroehler" around the middle of the previous century. It is a single unit; the top and bottom halves do not separate. The lower half has a 2-door cabinet and 3 drawers. The upper half has a single door cabinet, another cabinet with 2 sliding glass doors, and 3 drawers. I think the round drawer pulls are original, and the door pulls are replacements. There is an adjustable shelf in both upper cabinets. The shelf in the glass door cabinet has a groove running from side to side. To allow you to stand your China. Unfortunately, we only have 3 of the shelf pins to hold the shelves in place; more could be purchased at a hardware store. The upper 3 drawers are lined with black felt, and have a wooden divider in the middle running from ... morefront to back for utensils. Restoration: This piece was salvaged from an affluent home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. When we found it. The finish was faded by sunlight and the wood was dry. Since then. Description Vintage Country French Sideboard or Buffet We are so excited to be able to offer you a few exquisite pieces from a local estate. The consignee is moving and felt they could part with just a few things and that makes this your lucky day! This lovely country French style sideboard was made especially for her grandfather when they lived in France in the 20's and 30's. Although she was told by someone it was cherry. I believe it to be golden oak. The piece is absolutely exquisite and has been in the same family for almost 100 years. Notice the wonderful hand carving along with the attention to detail in the shelf brackets. The closing mechanisms and the escutheons around the key holes. The piece is 57" high at the top of crown and 46" wide. The crown is 3 1/2" in height. This incredible-looking piece is a solid mahogany sideboard dating from the 1940s. That is made of a beautiful solid grain reddish-brown ... moremahogany. It has five drawers, all dovetail, and the bottom drawer with a clamshell carving has a sliding tray for silverware. The logo is burnt into the side, and looks like the Old Meeting House was the original furniture maker. They must have been a small company, but they did really nice work. This gorgeous sideboard stands on tall cabriole legs, has a scalloped shaped skirt, clamshell carved drawer in the center of the base, two drawers on top, and a large solid mahogany beveled-edge top. The top has been re-sprayed to remove nicks and dings and to reveal the rich color of the grains used. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 22 inches deep, and 36 inches high.
