They have smaller E-25 shades. The shades on this pair as pictured are XE-40 which match the double sconces. If you prefer the smaller E-25 Holophanes on your pair then I will ship that model instead. They are all brass from around 1912 plus. Please see the other listings if you need more sconces or pendants to match these. The shades for these are period Holophanes. Some of the shades for these sconces have rib fleabites no worse than the ones by my fingers in the pictures. These wall lamps have been washed. Paint and most dings removed, and waxed. The canopy bell is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and will cover a standard outlet box. The wall sconces stick out about 9 inches, they are about 9 1/2 inches top to bottom with the XE-40s(with the E-25s they are 8 1/2 out and 9 top to bottom) They should match well with a rubbed bronze finish on your hardware. The paddle switches are NOS Circle F porcelain fat boys Easy installation ready, the mounting hardware has been upgraded with ground. Look closely at the pictures, there are minor dings and blemishes which can be turned to the bottom behind the shades-these are not new. The gilt bronze has a wonderful warm aged finish which could be polished brighter if required. Both the shades are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. They have been re-wired at some time and are in good working order. Each lamp has a pull chain switch as shown, not sure if any or all are functioning. Sconces show age, with lamp sleeves being dirty, wiring will be new owner's responsibility to inspect and replace if needed.

The nickel finish is in good condition but shows minor tarnishing. The patent date on the back side is March 3, 1925(photo 10) The wiring is modern, and they have very unique rotary switches in the form of an acorn. The switches work correctly. The paper candles are original and I was torn between replacing them or painting them, but decided to leave them as is and the new owner can decide whether to replace them or paint them to match their own décor. The sconces have been tested(photo 12) and work correctly. Bulbs are not included. The sconces are 13-1/2" high to the top of the candles. 4-3/8" wide, and they project 3-3/4" ... morefrom the wall(wall plate to front of shade) They use a candelabra style bulb. The candles are 5" long but only 4" is exposed, the rest being hidden by the candle holders. They weigh 3-1/2 lbs each. PA in the 1920's or 1930's. They have a 1926 design patent stamped in 3 places. They are cast aluminum with original painted finish and have modern wiring& switches. One sconce is very slightly darker than the other. They use a standard base bulb. They have the original 4" candle covers. If you want new candles as shown in photo 12. Just let me know and I will include them(I like the old ones) The mounting hardware shown in the photos is included in the sale and they include the original cast aluminum mounting caps(usually lost by the salvagers) The bulbs shown are not included in the sale. The sconces are made of solid. Heavy brass with a wonderful patina. Each one weighs almost 5 pounds. The back of each is marked with an"S" Each sconce features a double candle holder. I believe the candle holders originally had crystals hanging from them, and are now missing. These can be easily obtained from most home improvement stores or a salvage store. The sconces look great without them too! The mirrors are in wonderful condition with no cracks. I'm not sure if the mirrors are original to the sconces, they may have been replaced at some point. This auction price is for the pair-2 sconces-as pictured. They are 19 teens-mid 1920's wall lamps with period antique solid(not cased with clear) milk opal glass shades. The sconces have been cleaned and waxed and should match rubbed bronze hardware quite well. The brass has not been painted and will only get better with time. Look closely at the pictures. There are some very minor dings and light areas in the patina. They are old not new. T he Circle F porcelain paddle switch sockets are new old stock and have a strong click that will outlast any that are currently made. They stick out 5 3/4" and the back plate is 4 x 6 inches. They are 11 1/4" from top to bottom. ... moreThe embossed antique shades are period and better than any cased with clear that you see today. These shades look very good using fluorescent(which is what they are photographed with) or LED bulbs because they are opaque white. There are no flaws worth mentioning and may have some flakes on the rims. Everything is brass that shows. I added hardware, ground, and period wire. VTG PAIR 9" Hand Blown Glass Hurricane Chimney Shade Wall Candle Sconces
O LD Hand Blown Glass pair of hurricane shades for either wall sconces or candlesticks. They measure 9" tall. The base diameter is 2.0" and the top diameter is 4.25" The y have very tin y air bubbles that are barely visible due to them being hand blown. This is not an imperfe ction. The top edge is very finely polished. The bottoms have been cut to be level and have not been polished. So they are a little rough. Otherwise they are in very good vintage condition. They will require substantial packing to arrive safely. Which I will do, so the shipping is a little higher than I would normally charge. Better safe than sorry. Pay Pal payment due at auction close. Offered is a pretty vintage pair of French revival brass wall sconces measuring 10 inches high by 9 inches wide with a 4.75 inch projection. These are are solid. Thick cast brass with beautiful details. The sconces are adorned with glass spear prisms, 16 on each sconce. The arms have brilliant, hand cut crystal diamond prisms with a large round crystal jewel. The sockets are black gold with gold drips. The sconces are in beautiful condition and are designed to be hardwired to the wall. These would look quite nice with clip on shades. PAIR CAST IRON LARGE GOTHIC REVIVAL WALL SCONCES 1920'S NO RESERVE
This large pair of wall brackets date from the early 1900's and are in the gothic revival style having a medieval look. Sconces have a large circular cast iron backplate with a large vertical wrought iron curled strap/band. The shade holder consists of upper and lower ornate cast iron caps with 3 cast iron vertical shaped straps that have a diamond style design in raised relief. The large curled wrought iron strap has nice cast brass leaf appliques at its top and bottom. Nice cast brass finial at bottom of shade holder. Fixtures originally had glass cylinder type shades or possibly mica but have since been replaced with a plastic cylinder(see pics) This piece of heavy plastic has a vertical split from mfg. see pics) The sconces are in as found used condition and need restoration. They have been painted black and some of the screws/nuts ... moreon vertical shade strap assembly are missing(easily replaced) Also one sconce is missing a square decorative nut on the lower strap arm(see pics) This looks to be made up of 2 sections and should be able to be taken off the one sconce and either discarded or use half on one sconce and the other section on the other sconce? Brass pieces have a darkened patina. Metal good with no cracks or breaks. Large strap shows pitting from age and use. Both have vintage porcelain sockets. These oversize sconces measure approx. 18 3/4 in. tall and project out from wall approx. 10 1/2 in. Backplates are 6 in. in diameter. A great set of large wall sconces that would be stunning when finished up. Could be used either outside or inside.

These are four candlestick accessories. Two lipped sconces, and two sconce liners. The two larger lipped sconces are approx 1 1/2" high, and max diameter of lip is 1 1/2" They have a drainage hole in the base These two are probably silver plated but there is no mark. Plating a little worn on under side. The smaller sconce also has a base with no hole. This one is probably steel. The wider fourth piece has no base. This one is made of brass. Pair of vintage Art Deco lavender porcelain bathroom sconces. These date from the 1930s and have dramatic. Art Deco styling. The color is a lovely. Vibrant lavender or lilac hue. They come with the original mounting bolts. These sconces are in excellent condition, with no chips. Cracks, or other major flaws. There is a bit of barely noticeable crazing in the glazed finish, as would be expected in porcelain pieces of this age, but one must look closely to even see it. As shown in photos 8 through 11. There are a few paint splotches that should come off with a bit of TSP and elbow grease. The cloth wiring appears original and the sconces should probably be rewired for safety. They each take a standard-base lightbulb. They would look fantastic with rounded. Clear-glass bulbs or vintage-style Edison bulbs. Presenting a pair of unique and unusual cast brass wall sconces with satin glass Mission shades. These sconces were restored 25 years ago and never used. They are wired and ready to hang. The shades have fleabites around the fitter rims which do not show when mounted, and one tiny chip which does not show in the photos. There are a few minor"marks" which do not wash off, and one fine scratch in the finish shown in the last photo. They are 10" tall, and will protrude 8" from your wall when installed. The finish is a rich metallic bronze enamel with cleaned& lacquered brass accents. The original turn-switch light sockets are made by P&S, and are in excellent working condition. We are almost positive that these are Steuben because of the reddish color near the fitted area. We cannot make it out 100% but are quite positive that is who these are attributed to. There is a small chip in the fitter of the shade that cannot be seen when on sconce. The coloring may vary a little bit but it is due to the area in my hallway that the picture was taken. For your consideration is this fabulous pair of Antique 1920's French Beaded Wall Sconces. This stunning pair of sconces hung on either side of the mantle in the master bedroom of the Morton Salt Mansion. Just outside of Chicago. Each one of these beautiful sconces has six lights and they are 49" tall by 13 3/4" wide. The sconces are gold gilt metal with gold gilt handcarved wooden bobeshes holding the crystal bobeshes. They have all of their original macaroni beadwork, each scroll on this ornate pair of sconces is lined with beads. As pictured, one of the sconces is a bit brighter gold than the other, one took more soot from the fireplace than the other, but they are still an absolutely stunning pair of sconces. They are missing a few of their rosettes, the top bobeshe on each of the sconces has been replaced through time, ... morethey are very close in size and design. The top arm on the brighter sconce is bent in a bit, they are structurally sound, but I will let the buyer decide if it should be bent back out. With mythical figures all throughout the bronzes with the most unusual feature of her feet coming out at the bottom! These are just amazing pieces that are beautifully sculpted and I would think very rare to find! I believe that these date from around the early 20th century to mid century. They are not signed. They are in very good condition but there is a hole in the middle black part under the breast on one and there is some looseness on the arms of the candle holders. This is a beautiful pair of old Porcelain light fixtures. They are in good condition.One has a hairline on the side that comes from a manufacturing defect, a small split on the back. They are 6 1/4" tall, 4"wide,3 3/4" deep/ They have green stripes, one has a hole in the bottom for a switch or pull cord, the other has the same hole plus a two prong outlet hole. They weigh 2 1/2 Lbs.
