Large Red Cordura Quilt Hood used (751)
This is a used Cordura quilted winter hood that is in very good condition. It does not have a size marked on it. But is simular to my large sized ones. It measures 42" from ear hole to rear, and 4 ft from nose to rear(down center seam) It is 16" from between ears to end of nose. It has two hood connector straps that attach to D rings on the outside and go through a slot to the inside. This avoids rubing on the horse for comfort. There are no brand tags on this hood.

Striking. Colorful Diamonds in Squares antique quilt made with a stunning array of colorful fabrics from the late 1800s. A very pretty quilt in outstanding condition to use as a bedcover or wall hanging- the photos do not do it justice! The back features cheery blueberry calico bars and a striped. Berry and cream novelty fabric. The binding is the same blueberry calico. This quilt was hand quilted with brown thread at 6 spi. It is mostly hand pieced with black, brown, and cream thread but I do see a few seams that appear to be machine pieced. The quilting is non-intrusive and simply follows the outline of the pieces. The batting is cotton. This quilt is crisp and though there are spots it may never have been laundered. In one corner on the back there is an'L' shaped snag(each leg of the'L' is about 1 cm long) and a very nearby ... morehole about.25" x.25" unshown) There are no other holes or open seams. 8 of the interior pieces have some brown spotting and 3 of the exterior triangle pieces around the border- similar to what is shown in the last image. There are a few discolored areas on the back. Probably waterstains, as shown. These stains are quite visible when you are looking for them, but tend to fade into the quilt at a glance. Antique quilt made in a striking combination of red. Yellow, green, and white. This quilt was both hand and machine pieced; the hand quilting follows the seams and contours of the pieces at 5- 7 spi. Absolutely beautiful and striking from a distance or nearby. There are two shades of olive-like green that may have once been"poison green" The red is still strong and bright. It has bled or soaked variously onto the back and some of the white parts of the front- you will find very light pinkish areas throughout the back(see the fourth image) Which is otherwise a solid white. I found several tiny pin punctures like the one in the third image. Also the corner seams have weakened or have already been mended(see fourth image) The red fabric is coming out of the binding in a few spots. Each less than.5" in length. No other notable ... moreholes, discoloration or stains. Overall an outstanding quilt that has been very well preserved. The batting is cotton. A label is attached to a corner of the back which reads. Mrs A. T. Cheon. The label is printed. Another corner has the handwritten name"Cheon. Dimensions: 86" x 73"

Exquisite - Classic Simplicity - Antique Pinwheel Quilt. Excellent Condition!
This antique quilt is simply lovely with a soft and delicate look and feel. But it's actually quite strong and in remarkably good condition! Based on the fabrics and the little confidential provenance that I was able to discover I would estimate the vintage to the 1890's- 1910 era. The size is 76 x 80 inches. The expert quilter used a variety of shirting fabrics with a white background and tiny prints and a beautiful double pink or cinnamon/ pink print for the front of the quilt and with the same pink fabric also used for the narrow binding. The back is a natural muslin type fabric and color. The batting is very. Very thin. All meticulous hand stitching This quilt is in overall excellent condition with no stains. This is a Block Quilt, and is all hand sewn, and hand quilted, pieced, and shows the feed sack used with the writing still legible. This measures about 70.5"x70.5" with the small squares measuring 2.5"x2.5" the Big Center Block measures 31" x 31" the red checkered border is 3.5" wide, and the big solid red Border is 5" wide. Outstanding. Late 1800's Kentucky Beauty! Flying Geese Quilt. With Provenance
This lovely old quilt is from an estate sale in Bourbon County Kentucky. It was quilted by either Amanda or Eliza Collier who resided in Bourbon County during the second half of the 19th century, Hand quilted at seven stitches-per-inch The fabrics are all cotton with a simple lavender small ditsy print and solid white/ cream. The size is 84 by 74 inches. There are two borders. One in the lavender print fabric with the second in the cream color. The binding is in the lavender fabric. The batting is medium weight. The condition overall is excellent. The fabrics are crisp. It doesn't look like it was used very much. There is just a little light wear to the binding. This one was probably used occasionally for company and then stored away. It has been washed at least once. There are no tears or stains. But there is some light age or storage ... morediscoloration. This is mainly in one area in the top corner and isn't very noticable unless you are looking closely.

Excellent "Cross and Crown" Quilt. Great Fabrics. Near Mint Condition!
From Illinois- Traditional pattern beautifully quilted in the modern era. Showing little or no use! Based on the fabrics. I estimate that this colorful and expertly crafted quilt dates to the 1980s or 1990s. The size is 72 x 88 inches Hand Quilted. With lots of great stitching at an average SPI of about 7 inches. The fabrics and batting all look and feel like cotton to me. The batting is light weight. There are 30 large blocks sized at approximately 13 inches square. For the Cross and Crown design. The expert quilter used a wide range of reproduction fabrics in the vintage style including calicos, ditsy prints and solids. The rich colors are stunning and are beautifully balanced and mixed across the front of the quilt. The sashing and the inside border are done in a snowy white cotton. The outside border is a ditsy print in a cream and peach ... morecolor combination. The backing is solid plain white/ muslin in color and is turned back to front and stitched to create the neat binding. This quilt is in near mint condition. It's hard to tell if it has actually been washed since completion. If it was used it was very rarely. I looked for condition issues and only found a couple of light. It measures about 49 x 62” in size. All the material is circa 1920s. Patterned in 12 pods. Great looking. There is some dark discoloring on the purple border area and needs some cleaning. Also a couple small tears on edge. Still good condition.

The Victorian crazy quilt features a large silk embroidered square in the center with Kate Greenaway figures toiling in a garden. Surrounding the figures are embroidery stitches in numerous stitch patterns. The backing of the quilt is a cotton floral fabric which has been pieced to fit. Size of the quilt is 12" x 14" My guess. And just an opinion, the little quilt has been taken from a larger quilt and adapted for a child for her doll bed. Beautiful Vintage Bars Quilt 75x83
For your consideration is this gorgeous vintage bars quilt. I am not sure of the proper name of this pattern. But bars quilt seems appropriate. The front of the quilt uses three lovely small prints which are highlighted in the pictures. The back of the quilt uses two prints in the same bar pattern, so the quilt can be displayed on either side as both are beautiful. The hand quilting is small and precise at about 6 to 7 stitches per inch, counting the top side only. On the white and green bar, the quilting is quite intricate in a repeating scroll with the rows about 1/3 of an inch apart. In the narrower pink and green bars, the quilting is repeating diagonals with the rows about 1/2 inch apart. The edges are bound by hand stitching a very tiny binding of the front fabric to the back.only 1/4 of an inch wide! The batting is nice and thin. The ... morefabrics is this quilt indicate that they are from the turn of the century. Given its age the fabrics are in amazing condition. The double pink fabric is still vibrant while the green print is just as beautiful. The dark blue and burgundy on the back are both in fabulous condition. The quilt still seems to be somewhat crisp, it may never have been washed, although I cannot be certain. There are no smells or unpleasant odors. As can be expected in a quilt of this age, there are a couple of very minor age spots which in no way detracts of the beauty of the quilt, I mention them only for accuracy. One is shown in the final picture. Overall this quilt is in tremendous condition and would be a terrific addition to you collection. Finished size is 75" x 83" I am listing a few other quilts from my personal collection as well. I accept Paypal only and payment is expected within 3 days of the end of the auction.
