Description: Here is a great Arts& Crafts Taboret or Tabouret stand in a classic Mission style. It is real solid with no breaks. Cracks, or major marks. There is a small metal clip to strengthen it on the underside of the top. What it really has going for it is a 1st class patina that only comes with decades of use and the legs have 1 st class graining as you can see in the four pics I added of each leg. This stand is made of oak and has acquired a wonderful deep. Dark patina over the decades. It is as solid today as when it was made which I estimate to be in the 1930s. Antique sterling handled serving knife. This is signed sterling on the handle. This looks so old. I can't find any other marks. Thr design looks like it is arts and crafts mission design. Or art nouveau. There handle looks hand forged with hammered or dimpled designs with a high stylized basket of flowers as the centerpiece. The blade still looks strong and iy nerfs sharpened. It needs attention mostly cleaned and polished. Or maybe refinishing. I think this is a bread knife. it is so lovely. And has to be rare.

Antique 1905 Stickley Oak& Leather Mission Style Rocking Chair- ALL ORIGINAL! This is a beauty! Stickley 1905- 1908 rocking chair- all ORIGINAL. The leather is beautifully worn in- no rips or tears. I would say. The leather is stiff and dry. It is cracking in some areas. Especially the back of the leather on the back rest cushion. The seat is the most supple. The rest of the leather is not supple. Could use some leather conditioning. I left everything the way it is. I don't want to do any damage. One of the leather straps on top that hold the leather cushion in place. That goes over the top of the chair, is nearly torn all the way. I would not put the leather strap over the back and side down. I would be worried the strap would rip. BEAUTIFUL chair- great condition. Especially considering the age. The oak wood is also original excellent ... morecondition- has some small nicks here and there. But overall excellent! This has not been refinished. This Stickley rocker is a rare find! Mission Arts & Crafts Quarter Sawn Oak Plant or Fern Stand
Item: Up for auction is this nicely restored Quartersawn Oak Mission Arts& Crafts Plant or Fern Stand. The Stand is 35.75 inches tall; the top is 12 inches x 12 inches; the base is 12.5 inches x 12.5 inches. The stand is constructed out of highly figured quartersawn oak. And has a dramatic pattern throughout. The stand is finished in a medium oak tone with a satin finish. There are no maker's marks to identify the manufacturer. There are no signs of damage or previous repairs. There was a slight wobble to the stand that was remedied with a small felt pad(last photo) Rusted or worn screws were replace with coated Phillips head screw(see photo) Also, there is some separation in the corners of the egg and dart trim along the base which is attributed to age. The terms"restored" or"refinished" is not intended to convey ... moreperfection. While the refinishing process removes or reduces visible signs of wear, the items may retain subtle signs of its age and use. Overall, this Stand is in excellent condition and should provide many years of use and beauty. Pricing: I do not use reserve pricing. I will establish what I think is a fair starting price for each item. That way potential buyers can make a choice to pursue the item or not. And won't be placed in a position of having to guess the"magical" reserve number in my head. Packing: I pack all items myself. I take care to assure the item arrives safely. I have all but discontinued using cardboard in packing most antiques because of some in transit damage issues. For this item. I will build a plywood box for shipping. Inside the box, the item will be wrapped with plastic to avoid friction. The interior points of contact in the box will be lined with 1/2 inch rigid foam.
