We found this at an local estate sale and the owner said that her father had made this table. The coffee table has the hard to find hairpin metal legs. The top is made with a heavy.thick piece of wood that has been covered with a blonde champagne/wheat color formica. Mid-Century Porcelain Lamp Pair Pink Balls Spheres & Ornate Brass Bands
Offering these antique luster ware lamps. Luster iridescent porcelain with volcanic(raised white porous) glaze. These lamps are probably from the fifties. But could have been made in the forties or sixties. Please use your own judgement. The lamps have their original hoops and finials and measure 30" tall. The total height of the four spheres(including the metal bands) is approx. 15 1/2" Each sphere measures approx. 3 1/4" tall by approx. 6" in diameter. The spheres have no chips. Cracks, or repairs. There are two to three tiny spots of light wear beneath the metal separating rings. Not seen. Covered, and not detrimental. Any lines which may appear to be scratches in these images are white glaze streaks and original to the finish. There are two or three tiny bubble pops and several tiny black cinders trapped within the ... morewhite eosin? glaze. All original. Very minimal wear. If any, to the glazes. The plug on one lamp has been broken and will need replacing. The other electrical parts on both lamps look good. But one might want to re-wire the lamps for safety's sake. The lamp with the intact plug works. I see no reason the other lamp won't work after that broken plug is replaced. I disassembled the lamps for cleaning as shown in the image of the lamp lying down. As you can see in this image. The bottoms of the spheres are not glazed. The open criss-cross brass tone metal bands are in very good condition with no damage. There is an aged patina to the metal. I didn't clean these bands or the metal lamp bases. Except to wipe them off. There is minor loss of the finish to the metal bases on both lamps. VTG 50s Mid Century Modern Atomic Retractable Saucer Hanging Light Fixture Lamp I try to keep 50 items in my store at all times. I have managed to qualify as an Ebayer Top Seller again though, and will continue to provide next business day shipping, even while out of town at shows. This sale is for a vintage'UFO' Saucer Pull Down Lamp/Light Fixture. See picts. The base metal appears to be silver in color. With a brass wash or treatment, and some sloppy painter spots, see picts. You could strip the saucer to the base metal, paint(heat resistent) it to match your decor, or re-wash' with a brass-gold ... morecolored finish, see picts. I removed the glass shade from the fixture. See picts. I could not see where a pull switch would attach, so might have been wired to work with a wall light switch, see picts. There is a center brass tube though, so if the light socket updated/replaced could convert it into a pull switch, see picts. Rest of the fixture appears complete. Including the Ceiling Cap, which is often left behind, see picts. This a weighted retractable pulled down lamp allowing you to adjust to many different height as needed. The retractable cord pulley does work. But the cord, where it attaches to the fixture, is frayed, and will need rewired/repaired/replaced, see picts. The saucer is approx. 14 3/4 inches across. The glass shade is approx. 14 inches across, as it sets into the'saucer' frame, see picts. This lamp/fixture is in all original condition. So rewiring/restoration will be needed, but the saucer and ceiling cap are structurally sound, no significant dents found, see picts. These 3 vintage marbled sky blue Samsonite Silhouette suitcases are in great shape from the 1960's! They feature aluminum and chrome trim with the large 2 having the original Samsonite matching exterior tags. The largest wardrobe overnight measures roughly 26L" x 8W" x 21H” The carry-on measures roughly 23L" x 7W" x 18H” The smaller train/make-up case measures close to 15L" x 8W" x 10H" You can see from the pics the color of the exterior and interiors as well as the various pouches and straps. The train case has an adjustable mirror in the lid with a removable tray. These are all Samsonite and there is a key for the entire set. The large has a pull handle and wheels. These cases could be used for a number of things besides luggage. A very popular use is for camera equipment or speciality tools. By installing ... morefoam packaging and cutting it to fit your camera or tools is a stylish and less expensive way to protect and transport. These type of cases can also be used for decor such as end tables. Shipping includes insurance and a delivery confirmation. Delivery confirmation is not a tracking number. Offering a vintage very mid-century mod Aarikka ring from Finland. In wood and silvertone metal. This is an adjustable 3-dimensional ring with an abstract flower design. A large green wooden bead sits within silvertone petals. The front of the bead is dark green, shading to light green near the base of the petals.The flower design is about 1 3/8 inches(3 cm) in diameter and projects outward 1 inch(2.5 cm) On my sizer. It looks like the ring size could go as low as 5 and as high as 8, maybe even a bit more. The wooden bead is secure. The metal is tarnished around the bead. I will leave cleaning to the buyer. Front side of base has pattern of black ivy outlined in gold, against a backdrop of ivory bands. Back side shows only the concentric black and ivory bands. These two lamps have new black shades outlined in gold to mirror the pattern on the base. From some angles, the lamps look like little lighthouses. The shades alone cost $48 each. Japan Ceramic Swan and Bowl Top of TV Set Mid-Century Retro Tall Pink Gold Trim
Vintage. Retro, kitsch, ceramic set that dates to the mid-century. There is an oblong bowl and two. Tall swans. All three pieces have small"MADE IN JAPAN" stickers on the bottom. The bowl has a design of leaves, is flamingo pink with gold trim around the top, scalloped edge. It is 11 1/2" long, 4" wide and about 3" tall. The swans are a matched pair, hand painted. White ceramic with pink brushed at the ends of the wings and also gold sponged on trim. G reen grass and spots of blue on the base. They have cute faces with eye-liner. The swans are 15" tall and thin. There is one small chip on the bowl(see the close up photo) Otherwise this set is in very good condition. All questions are welcomed. Vintage Mid Century Tamura Lumitime Faux Digital Wall Clock Very Cool For Repair
This Tamura Lumitime wall clock is very cool. The clock lights properly but doesn't run. There's either a problem with the motor or gears or both. I haven't taken it apart to investigate the problem. The clock measures 9.5 x 8.5 x 2 inches. It has a very small chip in the lower right corner but otherwise it's in perfect condition. The clock looks great and displays nicely. Sold as is for parts or restoration. Powered by 120 volt ac. This is a electro mechanical clock that uses masks which move over a continuously lit background to give the effect of an electronic display. I believe it dates to the early to mid 1970's.
