Century Purple Glass Lamp- Rare Color This listing is for a beautiful original antique early 19th century ... moreglass bell jar lantern lamp. This lantern comes with its smoke shield and is a beautiful very dark purple amethyst color(the lid is lighter in color but I do believe it is the original smoke shield for this lantern) It retains its original brass fittings and chain. The shield measures 10-3/8" across and the bell jar measures 9-5/8" high and 8-1/2" across. Condition is good. There are manufacturing flaws and irregularities in the glass(air bubbles and lines and folds in the glass on the lid. These are not cracks or damages but happened in the making) The glass has a few air bubbles that were broken through on the surface but there are no chips or cracks and no repairs. There is just the usual chipping along the opening hole in the lid where the chain comes through(that is normal for this type of lamp) One of the peacock heads has lost its little clip that folds over the bell jar edge(see pictures) but that does not compromise the stability or ability to safely hang this lamp. This lamp has not been converted for electricity and is in good original antique condition(even the glass is covered in age dirt, but I will leave the cleaning to the new owner in case they like the aged look) Please excuse any glares(white patches) that you may see in the pictures. These are caused by reflections of light on the surface and are not on the actual object itself. Please note that I am located in the Netherlands(Amsterdam. Holland) which means that this item will be shipped from Europe. Retired Fenton Dusty Rose 'Gone With The Wind' lamp
Retired Fenton'Gone With The Wind' style electric lamp Dusty Rose color with embossed Rose pattern in the glass It stands 21 3/4" tall Gorgeous Works The lamp is missing its clear glass chimney for the top globe. The chimney did not come with the lamp when I purchased it. The only issues I noticed are one small chip and a factory defect on the bottom inside of the top globe. I've included pictures of these as well as an image of the bottom of the globe in it's entirety so you can see they are barely noticeable and only visible when you take off the top globe to change the light bulb. Emerald Green Fragonard Table Lamp-circa 1960's-1970's
The item you are viewing is a spectacular working vintage ceramic emerald green swirl and luster white table lamp with a Fragonard image of man and woman dancing with another gentleman playing a flute. The decors are taken over f rom a painting of the famous 18 th century courtly painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard. The lamp is trophy shaped with gilded handles and rings. The drum lamp shade is green with wood stitching and measures approximately 14 inches in diameter and 11 inches tall. But has small tear in fabric in a few places and loss of stain on stitching(see pictures) The green plastic finial measures approximately 2.5 inches tall. This wonderful lamp is in great condition for its age, but has two fine cracks on very close inspection with some rub of the gilding, and a small rub on the image(see photos) The lamp measures approximately ... more27 inches tall from base of lamp to top of finial. Offered. A beautiful vintage Quoizel Collectible table lamp night light. It is a cast metal turtle base with stained"glass" shell-the glass sounds like plastic when you tap on it but if feels like glass when tooth tested. It measures approx. 8 1/2" long total tip to tip, 5 1/2" x 6 1/2" shell. The base has sticker=Quoizel Collectible. I didn't remove the shell but it is also likely signed as well. Vintage 1954 Mid Century Modern ceiling fixture made by Moe Light. 16" diameter. 6" drop from ceiling. Rewired with a new Bakelite 3-bulb socket, takes three 60 watt bulbs. Steel mesh cage, concentric circle glass diffuser. The exterior brushed brass finish is in very good condition, only a few minor scuffs and scratches here and there. The interior has heat marks from 59 years of hot bulbs but it does not affect illumination. Glass diffuser has a scratch, doesn't seem noticeable when lit. This auction is for a lovely little bedroom lamp made of chalkware. It is made in the shape of a beautiful woman. It is in surprisingly good condition. She has a little bump on her knee. But it hasn't broken the finish off. You can see down the back of the lamp where the maker scraped the seam off to make it flat. I believe it has a new bulb socket because it is in such good condition, but, it's hard to tell, because this woman took such good care of all of her things. The lampshade is in very good condition considering what it is made of and how old it is. But, it does have a small tear along the edge in one spot. It is made of a stiff crepe paper type material that has a beautiful floral lace design in it. So, it is going to be pretty tough to ship it along with the heavy lamp. The base and chimney are milkglass- satin finished in a warm beige/peach color and hand painted with beautiful yellow/peach American Beauty Roses, both on the base and on the chimney. The detailing is amazing- rose buds, full open flowers and petels. The chimney flutes at the top and turns on by a twist knob. The lamp works(I tested it) and there are no shorts. The plug and cord are in good condition, no cracks or problems. The lamp itself is in EXCELLENT condition. No chips, breaks or problems anywhere that I could find. It was purchased at an estate sale. So not certain as to exact age(plug suggests 1950s-60s) but it is in excellent vintage condition meaning it is old, has been used and shows little wear with a little dulling of the chrome on a couple of the light bases, but no chips, cracks, dents and nothing broken or missing. The auction includes the five colored light bulbs pictured but cannot guarantee they will work after they have been shipped due to their age. This fabulous chrome lamp features five lights arranged in a spiral and a twist on-off switch about mid-way up. It had been painted solid white and you could tell the paint was quite old and chipped in places? I had put it in storage for several years and then after researching the maker's mark found that it should be solid brass underneath the very old dull white paint. As I started removing the old paint the lamp simply came to life with the beauty of the brass shining through. It was quite some work but the end result was well worth it. I was wondering ... morewhy someone would have painted such a beautiful lamp. The lamp is extremely elegant and the brass is in excellent condition without any pitting or discoloration. It was very difficult to capture the true elegance with my older camera. But the new owner will love the superb quality of the lamp. I have included the before and after restoration pictures. The iron weight inside the base was badly rusted and was sandblasted and then repainted. The brass base cover did not survive without some dings and dents from many years of use and while separated from the iron weight I took it to a local music shop which did do their best to remove the largest of these dings as they do with their antique brass instruments. The base is still far from perfect but does not detract from the lamps vintage beauty. The socket and wiring which I do believe to be original is in great condition and looks to be circa 1960's. This lamp was designed with convenience in mind and can be adjusted to put the light where you want it with a telescoping shaft which will extend to 56" tall and lower to 45 1/2" The brass shell globe itself rotates around a full 360 degrees. Vintage Floor Lamp, copper and brass, mid century, retro
the lamp is about 62 inches tall. The yoke is about 12 inches across. is made of brass and copper pieces, not sure if they are solid or plated, the top lamp works, the plug in works, not sure of the underside lamp(takes a very small bulb which I don't have) When we got it, it was the small dull copper color. I polished it up, still could use some more. has some spots in the copper that may or may not come out. Comes from the estate of a doctor who redid lighting in his retirement. All of the wiring looks good. Obviously will cost some to ship. thanks

The height adjusts from 40 inches to 48 inches. We trade in these mid century modern lamps of this era and style. And all of them are brass all over. This one is unique in what we see with a mauve color to the base and pole, up to the knurled height adjustment. Then there is a short brass section between the height adjust knob to the lamp shade. The patina is nice. No notable defects except the base has a little corrosion to the edge and on the small brass plate on top. These bases typically see a lot of abuse, so for this style lamp, it does look really good. From there we Electrically restored this light because we got it home and it would not hold contact to stay on. ... moreWe replaced the light socket with the exact replacement. A Leviton 3 way 240 volt socket with twist switch. It has the original knob so you could not tell anything has been changed. We also put a brand new long 10+ foot lamp cord on it to reach behind a couch if you need to. The entire electric components have been restored to Original Specifications, even the USA made Leviton brand name of light socket that was used. This lamp came from an elder estate sale. Among many great mid century modern, Eames Era furnishings. We never see these colored versions of this lamp, so I couldn't get across the room fast enough! I didn't knock anyone down. No worries. Do note, this is a three way light socket as it originally came with, so you have three levels of light. The glass shade under the metal shade is broken and repaired. This could be replaced. But appears to be fine with the metal shade on it. You can not see the repair. We did not repair this. Vtg. 50s MCM Majestic Floor Lamp w/ Orig. Shade - needs TLC - Atomic Retro Decor
Here is a very cool 50's floor lamp with fiberglass shade. I believe this is by Majestic but can not be 100% sure since it is unmarked. While in working order this lamp is in need of some TLC. There is wear and soiling to all the brass parts. The plated base has one spot where the finish is gone with about half the spot being down to base metal with surface rust and the rest of the spot turned green. The black painted metal decorative piece has paint loss as shown. One of the sperical knobs that holds this on does not tighten down very well. The shade lacing is broken on one end but the fiberglass remains intact. The shade frame is a bit rusty but otherwise good. Looks like the socket is a replacement. This lamp is intact and restorable. I believe this particular version was sold in the'90's and the pattern is quite rare. The Murano pressed glass discs are 10 inches in diameter. The overall height is 66" Please keep in mind that this is a used item and there are some signs showing that. Glass is free of cracks or chips. It takes five 40W light bulbs. Electrically it performs flawlessly. The top of the metal rod/body has one scratch-see pic. Which is not visible unless one is looking for it. Two of the metal arm supports for the glass discs have been bent in the past and they show that, however that does not affect function and form in anyway-see pics. Two of the nuts that hold the glass discs have scratches on them-see pics. This is an amazing ... morelamp. I have weighted the idea of selling it or not for quite some time. This is a Vintage Art Deco Chrome and Houze Akro Agate Swirl Slag Glass Three Light Torchiere Floor Lamp. There are numerous lighting options that are available on this lamp. The glass on the base lights up to show the peach. Orange swirl pattern when turned on from the switch on the base and then there is a switch for the three lamps on the top and also a switch for the main torchiere light at the very top. It has a fan design around the base with two discs between the glass on the shaft. The switch on the top has an F on it. It is in as found condition with no chips or cracks to the glass and only some minor rust underneath the base. This tall. Tapered lamp is 16 1/4" tall with a 4" base. It is 3/4" wide at the top and tapers out to 3 1/4" at the base. It does work, but the old cloth cord with the bakelite plug shows wear. It looks like the covering between the glass and the base is worn, but I didn't know how take it apart to see. It is a beautiful lamp and would look amazing if restored. This Item up for Auction is a Vintage Wooden Floor Lamp Made in the Art Deco Style. The Lamp Stands just over 41/2ft Tall. With an Adjustable Multi-Position 30" Arm. This Item resembles Frank Lloyd Wright design. The arm has no pivoting axis but uses a tention bolt on either side of the upright to use friction to hold it in place. Awesome Art Deco style swing arm floor lamp. This is a very ornate piece and will restore beautifully. Someone put some tan color paint on the base. I think this will come off very easily. A lot came off when I was brushing it off with a straw whis k broom. The base is a cast metal material with 4 small feet and is marked on the bottom(HF-5) The bottom ornate stem piece. And the spacer piece just under the arm is cast brass. The middle stem is a fluted lighter metal, I'm not sure if that is the original color or someone painted that too. LOOK! RARE MID-CENTURY RUSTIC/ WESTERN/ SOUTHWEST FLOOR LAMP!
This is a rare piece of American art in a floor lamp! Appraised at nearly $1500 two lamp companies in Twin Falls and Boise. Idaho and also internet appraised by a lamp collector in Connecticut Made in the mid-40's to 50's stands nearly 6' tall@ 64.5" Weighs in at nearly 30 Lbs. The lamp stands in at 64 1/2" tall. the lamp is made from steel. And the cord is also vintage but like new. There are a type of inverted Fleur De Lis' that are up-turned on each side. these are believed to be made of cast iron. As is the base immediately above them. The entire lamp is coated in a original rustic red"rhino-lined" type finish. The shade is a very nice and custom piece; It is made from steel and hand-hammered and welded together. Then. The maker used twined steel wires and twisted them(similar to barbed wire, but without ... morebarbs) and welded them all the way around the upper and lower base of the shade. The shade is genuine rustic and the inside has been painted white to better reflect the light from the bulb. The lamp topper is a solid brass(rustic coated) Fleur De Lis screw mount. This is a great conversation piece and every person that enters my home has a compliment for it or they wish to buy it! You will be extremely pleased with this piece! It accents my brown leather sofa and other rustic furnishings quite well. A true American Made quality piece! A great investment. Enjoy!
