It's from an estate sale and had been in a cabinet for prolonged time, antique gold paint and Dawn dishsoap will probably make it look brand new, my pic magnifies it simply isn't that bad but wanted to show it in the pic. I put in 16 ounces of mineral oil for a test and it works just fine. The light looks like one of the period Christmas light, I drained it out there may be small residual amt left. I did not remove it but there is a green thing over the bulb. I am sure the original owner put it there for decorative purposes. Making it look like a bush. It can be removed. It is just ... morestretched over the bulb. The motion is sailboats sailing around the lighthouse while people watch on. There is on spot where it pauses for a bit but then continues. You will see it in the video. So please take a look. This is a very beautiful piece. It is 9 3/4" tall and 10" wide and 4" deep. Insurance will be included Priority mail is the only shipping method. Hi there! Up for auction here is a Vintage Leviton Lava Lamp in working order. It shows some rubs and scratches and a couple of glass flaws but nothing that takes away from this neat old lamp. I did find one ding on the base and light wear on the cap but nothing major. I have plugged it in and after awhile it's up and running. It does take awhile. I would say that this is in nice vintage condition. I have tipped it and taken some time to make sure there are no leaks. Tropical Fish Motion Lamp Nursery Night Light
For those of you who may not be familiar with motion lights. The heat generated by the regular low watt lightbulb causes the plastic insert to spin on the spindle needle located in the lamp housing. This causes the images to be projected onto the paper housing, creating the movement of the fish. It's really cool. I've attempted to show this in the pictures, I stayed in one spot and allowed the pictures to rotate around so that I might capture each projected fish. This item is super light-weight. However. This is a Vintage Red Top Econolite Motion Lamp as shown on pages 122 and 123 in Sam and Anna Samuelian's"Collector's Guide To Motion Lamps. It is an oval European version of the 1956 motion lamp and in excellent shape with no cracks or indentations and it works just fine! I've taken a dozen pictures to help you judge it's condition. As stated in their book. It's European with a U.S. adapter that I will include to use here in the United States. As you can see. The base is gold filigree with three legs. Vintage Motion Lamp Econolite "Fountain of Youth" Minty! Pee Boy
Up for grabs is a very Nice Econolite motion lamp-The"Fountain of Youth" or"pee boy" This is my favorite of the econolite motion lamps. And this one is in excellent condition. I wont say"Mint" because I know some will find flaws in anything, but it's dang near close. All of the parts are there, no major scratches or dents or tears or anything to report. It heats up quickly and rotates well, lots of movement. For those of you not familiar with this lamp, it has a scene of Juan Ponce de Leon, or at least early Spaniards at a moving waterfall, and it reads"the Fountain of Youth" underneath in a gothic script. With a slight rotation of the outer ring the scene changes to a young boy peeing in the lake, and this scene also reads"The Fountain of Youth" So you could have a racy lamp for your ... morepool room, then turn it to the less risque' Spaniards when the preacher came over. Vintage 1956 Econolite John Bull General Train Motion Lamp RARE great gift
This lamp has John Bull on one locomotive and General on the other locomotive. It is marked 1956 Econolite Corp. it is app11"H and 7"W on the base. The smoke and fire pours out of the locomotive smoke stack. The ground moves under the track. Head lamp flickers. Beautiful and unique antique when on but vibrant blue and gold colors abound when off. What a nice gift for the train collector or locomotive buff. It is in overall good working condiiton, but has some minor flaws, at top small crack and at bottom was glued to keep picture from seperating. Antique Caramel & Multi Color Slag Glass 16 Panel Table Lamp
Antique Caramel and Multi colored Slag Glass 16 panel table lamp. Lamp measures approximately 22" tall with shade. One of the large glass panels is broken and one of the small glass panels is partially broken. The broken pieces for the large glass panel come with the lamp. I do not know how complete the pieces and if they fit properly. There are no glass pieces for the small glass panel. This lamp is working and looks like it was re wired not too long ago and has new bulb sockets. There is normal wear on lamp body from age. But i did not see any damage or breaks to the metal work on the shade or the base of lamp. I don't know if all the Slag glass panels are original. Lamp is from old estate.

Shabby ANTIQUE Metal Maiden Lady Cherub Beaded Bulb Shades Covers LAMP 20"
If you missed this one before. It had been on Layaway and the Transaction was Canceled, so here she is again! From an old Estate we have a Lovely Antique Lady and cherub lamp. In cream and gold we have a lady and cherub playing instruments. With more instruments at their feet. This lamp measures appr 20" tall, the base is 5" in circumference and about 8" wide at the top. There are two old beautiful glass/ crystal beaded bulb covers that were on it. We do not know if they are original to the lamp, but with the type of sockets on the lamp, imagine they are. They are beautiful and heavy. You can tell they are really old from there wiring, see pics. The lamp leans just the weest bit because of their weight, it does stand in place. I believe a one or two felt pads underneath the base would give it more balance. We are not certain ... moreon the exact age or what type of metal this is. No matter, they certainly don't make them like this anymore, shes a Beauty! We have found a break in the metal on the ladies right arm, where the metal wiring is wrapped around it which holds the metal leaves. It is there, however the wiring hides it pretty good, unless you are looking for it, its not that noticeable, please see pics. There is also a wee chippyness to the paint here and there. Mostly on the back where the curly metal wiring is on both arms. With age they have come loose from their original spot, and do move. I would suggest once you receive the lamp, position them in place and add a drop of glue to secure them. The curves of the metal arms that hold the sockets, have bends and dings on the back and the paint is chippy there also, please see photos. The base has the old felt pad on it, but one side of it has come loose and a little is missing, believe this is why it isn't completely balanced. It has old wiring, we plugged her in and she does work, old wiring should be checked by a professional before use. There is an on and off switch on the base. You are bidding on a fabulous 4 panel lithophane warmer for teapots or similar. Circa mid-1800's. My grandmother purchased this from a prominent antiques dealer in Atlanta in 1965. She was told at that time that it was a"Dutch warmer. However. The markings on the individual lithophanes indicate otherwise, and the river view scene is labelled"GENEVE. MARKINGS: HPM 533 T I have shown the GENEVE scene. As well as the others, in daylight and also with backlighting. When lit, the porcelain intaglio scenes are just amazing! This warmer has been used with a small votive candle. The most charming and endearing scene is of a well dressed child teaching her dog to play the piano. I suppose that's why we kept this piece for so many years! Its irresistible appeal! MARKINGS: PPM 1074 A third sweet lithophane shows a child reading to ... morean older woman(grandmother? who appears to be sewing. MARKINGS: HPM 425 K The fourth lithophane shows a child reading a small book by the fireside. As I was cleaning this piece. I was surprised to come across 2 teeny tiny hairline cracks in the bottom of this panel. They are shown in the last photograph. The two hairline cracks have undoubtedly been there for decades, and they are not visible at all when the panel is properly placed within its frame for display or use. Vintage carved wood table lamp! FANTASTIC and it works!!!
This is one of the most unique pieces I have come across in a long time! I've shown you that it does work in a couple of the photos. I have no idea of the origin or what decade. But I'm guessing the 50s, mostly due to the fi xtures attached and the wall plug. It measures 2 6" from top to bottom and the base has a diameter of 8" This piece is NOT flawless: if you look closely you will see some wear and tear. But that just adds to the rustic nature of the piece, in my humble opinion! It is a hard wood, but I can't tell you exactly what kind, because I'm very feeble at those kind of things. My husband thinks maybe mah og any. But don't quote us. We see what looks like a monkey and some kind of bull or bison or something(it has horns) The tree leaves wrap around the unit and the trees form the cut-outs. Up for auction is an original antique Art Nouveau figural lady lamp dating form the early 1900's. The Lamp is a desk lamp and has an attached shade on the top. The lamp is missing the pieces of slag glass and can easily be replaced. Made of smelter or pot metal with a bronze finish. Great detailed Art Nouveau design of a lady holding the lamp part up. The top brace of the shade part is there but has to be soldiered back on. Small crack on the shades frame at a joint and can easily be repaired with soldier. Overall condition os the base is excellent. Has no cracks. No holes, no broken parts and no repairs. Appears it have been rewired but has the original socket. Measures approx. 21 1/8" tall and is 5 1/2" wide. Weight is 6 pounds unpacked. Very cool antique lamp and is a must for any collector. It's a nice well made Solid Walnut table with a pretty"o ctagon beveled edge" top. It also has a neat shelf that is attached to the pretty Victorian Turned Style stretchers. It also has very pretty"turned post" legs on"teardrop feet" It's a neat item that would add interest& charm to any room in your home. It has a very pretty Dark Walnut Patina to it with some very pretty and unusual wood grains on the top. It is 21 1/2" X 22" and 28 1/2" tall overall. The cute small round shelf is 5 3/4" across and about 6 3/4" off the floor. It's overall condition is good.
