Issues are as follows: the mid-section of the pole has a fair amount of pitting and the back sides of shades show wear(as shown in photos. Which go from top to bottom, fronts then the backs- ie, the first three are top/middle/bottom fronts and the next three show the wear on the top/middle ones- is most significant on the top one, not too bad on the middle one and the bottom one has the flaws as shown. Additionally, the insides of the shades have some wear- the photo is of the top one and it is the worst of the three. Fortunately the shades swivel/rotate. So depending on your setup, these issues are not that difficult to conceal, especially in a corner. This may very well be an old lamp. I really don't know much about this lamp except that the person who owned it and her family were collectors and had several of these lamps. That were old and had been professionally rebrassed. I'll let you the educated collector decide. It is a Aladdin Nu-Type Model B Corithian Style Moonstone Black and White Lamp.This I do know. It is excellent condition. No breaks in the glass. There are some weird little notches in the glass in between the ribs of the black foot. These look like they were there when it was made.The white part also has some slight line patterns from the way it was made. The burner looks real good and clean and the components move smoothly. The chimney was replaced. The newer chimney fits perfectly. The glass base part measures approx. 8.5"with burner part measures approx.12"with ... morethe chimney on measures approx. 24" It is heavily constructed and whether it is newer or older, it's a great piece. Create a romantic Victorian mood in your house with this Collectible Hand/finger Oil Lamp. The lamp has a lovely light amethyst/purple tint from sitting in the sun. A characteristic of early glass lamps that used maganese in the production process(tried to show coloring by photographing at different distances) It was produced by Plume& Atwood(P& A Co. as identified by the thumbwheel which has the company's initials and"7.16.88& 8.11.97" The bottom of the glass has an interesting hatch pattern and the finger hold is hand blown. The thumb wheel which turns on the light is marked with“P& A Dorset Dv Thomaston Conn” and“Made In USA” The brass lamp is very nicely detailed with fancy perforations on the foot. Even the font cap actually opens. It holds a candelabra based light bulb. The glass chimney fits perfectly into the lamp and measures about 7 ¾ inches tall. There are a few flakes at the bottom of the chimney, no chips or cracks. The lamp has a removable shade ring and holds a clear blue glass shade with a diamond quilted design and a ruffled top rim, in very good condition. Vintage Retro Vanity Desk Electric Lamp Light Crystal Glass with Long Dangles *
This listing is for a very old retro or vintage small vanity style electric lamp with crystal glass dangles hanging down. They hang about 4 and 3/4 inches long and the lamp stands about 10 inches high as pictured. When you put a bulb and shade on it the height would go up of course. This lamp is adorable. It comes without a bulb or a lamp shade or globe. It comes as pictured. The cord is the old style. Probably from the 1940's or 1950's, and I would suggest having it changed to modern codes to make it safer but it does work as is. The glass on the base of the lamp is heavy and reminds me of ice blocks. The metal between the glass has rust and probably needs to be painted to make it shiney again. Some of the dangles have very small chips or nicks in them. Probably from rubbing against each other over the years. The very tips of some ... moreof them are worn off but you have to feel them to tell they have these minor issues. You cannot really see any of these places. I do have a matching lamp that I will put on later. These are just too heavy to try to ship together so I am going to sell them seperately.

This listing is for a double arm student lamp without shades. Lamp has one copper arm resoldered see pic. 7. Sold as is, maybe for parts? It must have been a very nice lamp. Has 3 way switches with fancy keys, one fitter holding wire was also resoldered, lamp is in good working condition, wiring is also good. As is shown in picture#1 this lamp is 22" high to the finial. 12" high to the 7" wide fitters, 18" wide from fitter to fitter, with a 6" weighted base. I see no nicks. Very attractive coloring and design but has its faults after sitting at least 30 years in my families storage unit so take a close look at the photos before considering purchase. There are no identifying markings anywhere on this item. The lamp itself is fine with no chips or cracks but the paint has come off in spots. Functionality is perfectly fine. The octagonal base(unsure of the material) has a portion missing where the electrical cord comes out in the back. Note that this does not affect the stability of the lamp. Shade is very nicely constructed with an inner material layer to hide the wire frame. The measurements on this lamp are 12" tall from base to top of socket and base diameter is 4 1/2" This lamp has no chips. Cracks or fleabites but this lamp has some minimal paint loss inside the thin stem in the body of the lamp and several indentations from where the lamp was separated from the mold during manufacturing(please see all pictures) This lamp does have the Aladdin hallmark stamped into the base of the lamp, plus pat. pending(graphite was used to highlight the hallmarks, this will be wiped off before you receive the lamp) This lamp has gold fabric wire on it. It is made of pottery and glazed with a brown onyx drip. the rest of the lamp is a burnt orange color. The height to the top of the finial is 26 inches. It has a finial but the picture does not show it. The pottery portion alone is 11 inches tall and 8 inches wide. It weighs approximately 7 1/2 pounds before packing.
