Porcelain Qing Dynasty kangxi period blue and white cherry blossom ginger pot
It has the Qing dynasty Kangxi period make double circles. Dates back to 1662-1722. The emperor's mark was not allowed during this period so they just used the double circles. Sometimes they painted a feather in the middle. Under glazed a deep blue with white. It is in wonderful condition except for some chipping on the bottom. It measures about 4.75" tall and 4.75" wide. FINE 18thC CHINESE RATS IN BAMBOO AUSPICIOUS OBJECTS PLATE KANGXI c1715-20 A highly unusual early eighteenth century Chinese porcelain plate from the late Kangxi reign c1715-20. The plate is painted with a pattern of rats/ squirrels nestling amongst canopies of bamboo and fruiting vines. The well area painted with auspicious objects within oblong fitted frames, interspersed with diaper, the cavetto painted in an according style with lappets framing pomegranate and otherwise with cafe au lait washed rim, adapted elements of this decoration appeared on Meissen later in the 18thC. The plate measures 8 ¾ inches in diameter bar a few small/ tiny frits on outer edge of the rim(occasional one of which clips body) and foot ring. The vase is made in classical bluster shape and decorated with floral with underglaze blue. This is a representative work of Kangxi Period. It has a matching cover. Which is antique but not original. It was acquired at an auction in NY. Dimensions: it measures 14.5 inch(36.8 cm) high without the cover. Or 18.25 inch(46.4 cm) with the cover, and 9.5 inch wide. Up for auction is a superb antique Chinese Kangxi blue and white porcelain vase. It is made into a miniture bottle shape. Very lovely. Age: early 18th century. Kangxi period Condition: perfect. It has a tight and short hairline to the neck at the rim. And a fireflaw line to the shoulder. Both lines are underglaze. No chip or repair. Dimensions: 6 inch( 15.2cm) tall. The decoration around the side of the jar is of flowers issuing from rock-work which are painted with a superb uniform cobalt blue. The glaze of the vase is very good and even. Important Rare Fine Huge Chinese Blue White Scenic Baluster Vase 17-18C Fine 2014 Chinese Collection Please Click on Pictures to Enlarge them Up for auction is a very old Excellent authentic old extremely rare example of a Blue and White Scenic Kangxi Vase. This vase displays a lot of traditional Kangxi period scenes. This is a very highly decorative scenic vase. In an unusual baluster form. The center of the bulbous body has four sections with scenes, each separated with a border of woven downward facing arrow patterns. It is a very interesting if you closely inspect the vase. You will see that there are four scenes, but there are really two different scenes that are each mirrored. So each scene has a double(another identical scene) and each pair is done in a mirror fashion. Two of the mirrored sections on the vase are filled up with plants ... moreand flowers. along with a Bird, Dragonfly, Butterfly, and a Moth. The other two identical mirrored sections have a scene with two hunters carrying their weapons while riding on horses. It appears that they are hunting a deer who is grazing on the grass. It is possible that the two hunters are actually Soldiers. They are all among rocks, hills, mountains, and trees. Above and below the scenes are highly decorative Lingzhi and floral shaped patterns that wrap around the vase. The neck of the vase, is decorated with a scene that displays mountains, rocks, hills, pine trees, houses, water, geese, a man and a fisherman. One man is out in the field in front of the houses, and on the other side of the neck of the vase, there is a man standing on a cliff above the ocean, while fishing. Before him there are three geese flying in a synchronized V shape. The bottom foot of the vase has more floral patterns that wrap all the way around the vase. Over-all this vase is in good antique condition. There are rust spots and pitting natural from make and age. Which is a good sign of the vases authenticity of age. The porcelain caddy is a 6 panel form. Each of the panels is decorated with a different flower. The silver mount is Dutch and is well hallmarked with the sword mark and date mark B for 1836. The bottom has an under glaze blue leaf mark. Size: The tea caddy measures 18.2 cm. 7 3/16" tall to the top of the silver finial. Age: The porcelain tea caddy is Kangxi(1662-1722) and the 19th century Dutch silver mounts have a date mark for 1836. Condition: This porcelain caddy is in very good condition with no cracks or repairs. These describe as follows: The larger bowl has a scaloped rim and is elaborately decorated on the outside with patterns of oriental landscapes. Alternating flower patterns. The inside shows stylized flower patterns. The bowl bears a Kangxi four character mark within concentric circles. The bowl is in attractive condition, but has some tiny rim glaze frittings and minor rim chips, of which one is associated with a hairline. Displaying very nicely, this bowl measures an impressive 6 inches(152 mm) across, while it stands 7 cm(2,75 inches) high.
