Good size and beautifully proportioned at 5 and 1/2 inches by 4 and 1/2 or 140mm x 115mm with a height 44mm. Scarce European Silver Sidearm Short sword with Islamic Damascus blade
High Grade 19 century silver mounted sidearm in its matching sheath. Curved fine quality watered steel blade with gilt inlaid Islamic inscription on ricasso and traces of another one further down the blade. Some wear to leather surface of the scabbard and a few small dents to the bottom mount. No other faults worth mentioning. There are no any markings except for the gilt inscriptions to the blade. Overall length– 77 cm. Length of the blade– 63 cm.

VTG Antique TRIBAL OLD SILVER NECKLACE INDIA Middle East Islamic Hamsa Fatima
I just don't know enough to make big claims. But I do know this is vintage and I know tribal old silver enough to recognize the hand work and how it is wrought. The Hamas, or hand of Fatima is hand stamped. You can see in the pictures(4 is the front and picture 5 is the back side) of it to better illustrate this. What totally intrigues me are the old silver hollow barrel beads; there are 6 of them. When they clink together they make that lovely silver sound. Then we have the four amazing turtle carved beads of some kind of stone; jasper( Turtles are very lucky and often, in the Middle East. They are kept in gardens as pets to bring good fortune to a family. Now look at the shell beads. They ground the entire piece and give it its length which is 33 inches! This makes a statement!
