This is stamped with a number of codes but the major ones features the makers name along with mold number, which is: Iron Art JM187. The overall size of this large mold is 22.5" tall, 15" across and 2.5" deep with a weight of 16.2 pounds. With this much weight, I'm thinking this is made of lead instead of aluminum but I'm probably wrong.

Vintage large art deco brass school store industrial ceiling light fixture
For sale is a vintage 1930 1940 school house industrial ceiling light fixture pendant light. The fixture hangs down from the ceiling about 50 inches. It could be easily shortened by taking out links in chain and shortening wire or it can be extended down further for those who have very high ceilings since there is another additional 32 inches of wire that extends past the canopy. Just add the desired length of links and you won't have to rewire since the extra wire is already attached. It has a great art deco milk glass shade that measures about 9 inches tall and about 12 inches wide at widest part. It has a six inch opening and is in great shape without any cracks and only minor flea bites along the edge of opening(see pictures) Very minor and does not interfere with the beauty of function of item since it fits inside the shade holder ... moreand is not seen. The shade holder and canopy are solid brass with a shiny finish(I don't think it is lacquered and will age to a beautiful antique brass finish over time. The fixture is in excellent working order with new wiring and a new porcelain bulb holder. This is a great vintage Art Deco light that is becoming harder to find in this size and in this excellent shape. It will add a great vintage industrial look to the room you place it in. This solid all one piece antique handrail is all solid iron. The mount brackets are welded in place, it measures 71" long, the rail is 1 1/4" x 1/2" thick, the 3 wall mount flanges are 3" diameter and each have 3 screw holes to mount to a wall. Heavy and sturdy, all solid so it weight close to 20 lbs and will last a lifetime! Wonderful curl detail at each end, could be mounted on left or right, overall length covers 6 or 7 steps(at my house, but yours may vary) awesome industrial/ institutional design, the paint has perfect patina, aged white over a black layer- i think it looks great, but could easily be stripped or painted to suit your needs. This is a heavy solid table, height adjustable, not sure what type of wood is used for the top, tounge and groove planks, the steel body is in good condition but suffers some paint peeling, the wood top does have some separation between planks, scratches and dings and some burn marks.
