Cracks, hairlines, or crazing, it is clean inside, there are a couple of glaze pops which do not detract but are mentioned for accuracy. Measuring 3 3/4" high this thin walled porcelain piece has a beautiful classic shape. Deep blue and burnt orange colors, it pictures flowers and has interesting gilding highlights. It is unsigned but you can feel the raised paint with your ... morefingertips. Each measures 12.5" across and 15" high. Each features neoclassical bronze mounts and the lids have been affixed via hardware to the pots. Bronze mounts hide the undersides of the pots and there are no identifying hallmarks. Each is in excellent condition. With no visible cracks. One handle is missing. Red mounting clay residue is visible at the edge of the lids where they meet the decorative mounts. There is obvious oxidation to the mounts, and both would benefit from a gentle cleaning. Gold Imari Oriental Hand Painted Shallow Bowl
Up for bid is a Gold Imari hand painted shallow bowl. It is made of porcelain and measures 7-1/2 inches in circumference and 1-1/2" tall. The medallion in the center. Which is surrounded by a black, white, and gold border, depicts a crocodile or dragon. The outer portion is divided into eight panels. Four of which are decorated with a blue and gold design. The other four panels are decorated with two different scenes, two of exotic birds, flowers, branches and blossoms, and the other two with mountains, trees, and what appears to be a bridge spanning a stream. It is in excellent condition and would make a wonderful addition to any Imari collection.

They are decorated in an Imari pattern I have seen on Derby cups and saucers but can't identify. See the pics of the marks which are hand painted in red, and one smudged mark but can't say for sure which factory. They are very well done and in great display condition, one seems a bit larger in my photos but I never noticed that on display. The ground on the ribbed base and cover is a pale salmon or apricot. In excellent display condition; I can't find any faults on one and the other has had the finial reattached and probably the base; you can see the finial joint is darker and the gilding ... morearound the base is repainted. Antique Imari (Meiji 1870-90) Faceted Ginger Jar w/ ORIGINAL Top and Inner Lid
Because of its faceted surfaces. This is a rare and unique piece of Japanese history. It is extremely difficult to find an old ginger Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 jar with its original inner lid as well as the domed top. But this piece is COMPLETE. Some staining and rough spots inside the jar. No chips anywhere. The Japanese Imari faceted ginger jar was made from the early Meiji period. Circa 1870s-1890s. The facets were hand-paddled by the potter using a flat wooden tool known as a potters paddle. The jar and top are decorated in floral designs with a geometric band at the base. This jar's base band is in a cobalt blue geometric design. The piece measures about 6” high and about 4 ½” diameter at the widest point. These Meiji Imari Japanese Vases have been in the family for many. Many years. They stood in my grandmother's dining room. I'm not sure when she acquired them, but they are both in excellent condition. Both vases are(apx) 6 1/2" tall- one is slightly shorter than the other.it is closer to 6 1/4" The width at the shoulders of each vase is apx 3 1/2" wide. Both vases have similar decorations: cobalt blue lizards attacking a large spider. The lizards are both embossed onto the vase in a beautiful. Raised- 3 dimensional fashion, and they have golden colored highlights on their spine, legs and rib-cage(back of body) The spider is cobalt, but flat on the vase- not raised- but it too has golden highlights on its legs. The shorter vase has more pronounced golden highlights. While the slightly taller vase's golden highlights ... moreare somewhat faded. 5 Antique Japan Imari Arita Hizen Plates, early 20th century
5 ANTIQUE ARITA HIZEN PLATES These were given to my mother by a friend. According to the friend her niece lived in occupied Japan and dug these plates up in a refuse dump. The mark on the front(there are no marks on backs) seems to indicate that this is Arita Hizen ware. The plates measure 9 1/2" across and have a notched edge with traces of gold. They are decorated on the bottoms as well and have a charming butterfly and a grape trellis on the front in red and blue. Some of them have bluish haze where the blue hand painting smudged into the white background-no crazing or notable chips. I'm not an expert and have attempted to identify these on the gothenborg website; will try to answer any questions you may have.

Japanese Tea Set Imari Style Porcelain Arita Ware and Lida's
This beautiful tea set includes a teapot that is marked Lida's Japan and 5 cups that are marked Aritaware Fine Porcelain Japan. The teapot is in good condition and has only one minor repair on the spout(see pic) This repair is barely noticeable. You have to look hard to see it. There aren't any other chips. Cracks, repairs or damage to the teapot. The bottom rim, top inside rim and rim on the lid of the teapot are unglazed. The rest of the teapot is glazed and the glazing is in great condition. The glazing is even and shiny with no noticeable scratches. This teapot stands approx. 4" tall without the handle standing up and is 7" wide. Four of the five cups included with this set have their Aritaware labels still attached. One of the cups has a chip in the rim(see pic) The other four are in great shape. Kangxi and Qianlong Description: Offered are two Chinese Export coffee cups that dates to the Kangxi and Qianlong periods. The first cup is 2.5” high and 3.25” long. It is decorated with plants in iron red. Gold and blue. It dates to the later Kangxi period, around 1710. The second cup is also 2.5” high and 3.25” long. Its decoration shows a mandarin attended by a boy watching a boat on a lake. It dates to the Qianlong period, around 1760. They are offered at a modest reserve. This piece is part of a collection that I am currently helping a friend to liquidate. Her father assembled this collection of Chinese Export porcelain from the 1980’s until recently. Many of the pieces from his collection are highly unusual and are rarely seen in the current market. 12 pc 60yr Ironstone Imari OCCUPIED JAPAN COBALT BLUE w/FLORAL Cup & Saucer
Presenting a set of 6 Ironstone Ware Cups and 6 Saucers with the Imari Design. They measure 2 3/8" H from the bottom of the saucer to the top of the cup. The saucer measures 5" across. The cup measures 3 3/4" across. The design is very beautiful and colorful. Colors included are cobalt blue. Red, yellow and green. There are gold gilt accents. The saucer and cub have gilt bands. I looked them over carefully and did not find any chips. Cracks or repairs. The gilt is almost completely intact. They are stamped on the bottom in green. Ironstone Ware, Made in Occupied Japan. There is a manufacturer's mark on the bottom which looks like two birds and a flower like design. Nice find for the collector. I ONLY SHIP TO THE UNITED STATES.
