Here you are looking at a very rare find. It is a beautiful marbled green slag glass lamp shade made by Handel. It is signed in the rim of the shade twice with the rare Handel with two stars mark. This shade is in mint condition without any issues with the glass at all. All the panels are complete without chips or cracks. The brass or bronze part of the shade has some minor finish issues. The shade measures 14 1/4 inches in diameter and the openeing at the top measures 3 5/8 inches. The shade stands 6 inches tall. Please look at the pictures for more details. A very nice antique. Circa 1920's, bronze base boudoir lamp with antique leaded slag glass shade. The lamp base is probably made by Handel, although the shape of the base, and the shade cap, are not pictured in either of the two major reference books on Handel. The shade is probably not by Handel. As presented the lamp measures 15" tall by 5" bottom diameter. The shade measures 4" tall by 5" diameter, the top opening 2-1/4" diameter. It is in working order with original socket, new cord, old plug. Excellent condition: bronze base without dents, original even patina without verdigris. The shade is without damage, secure leadings.

This is an antique Stained/Slag Glass lamp of unknown make. It could be Tiffany. Handel, Bradley& Hubbard, ect. The bottom of the lamp has two numbers, one is"8" and the other is"577" It has a patent date on the light sockets for July 6 1909, which is for the adjustable lamp sockets. This lamp is missing one of the pull chords for one of the lights and the cord has been replaced. It stands 26" tall and the base is 6.5" in diameter. The shade is 14" square.

ANTIQUE HANDEL LILY PAD DESK LAMP; RARE YELLOW GREEN SLAG GLASS; DUFFNER ERA
For sale is a beautiful documented Handel lily lamp as shown in pictures 1-12. This lamp is relatively rare in that its glass color is not Handel's standard dark green. Rather. It is a lighter striated yellow green. Also the base metal and the metal holding the petals has a lighter golden brown patina that is more in keeping with the muted colors of the glass. The true patina color is shown in natural sun light in photo 3. The true color of the glass is shown in natural light in photos 2& 3. Although the base and shade are unsigned. This lighter colored variation of Handel's lily lamp is pictured(documented) in"The Handel Lamp Book" by Hibel. Hibel& Fontaine at page 30 at the top right. It is also documented at the site leadedlamps.com under Handel lamps. The lily pad base of these lamps were made of cast iron and ... morethus much more difficult to emboss with the Handel mark than the softer pot metal table lamps. Hence, most of these lily pad bottoms had weak lettering(a couple of letters) to no impressions at all. The lamp has been rewired with a period appropriate brown cloth cord that has been spliced at the bottom. See photos 9& 10. The lamp has its original bakelight plug. photo 8) The socket has a GE paddle. Photo 12. The socket works perfectly. The socket shell is spot welded closed at two spots. You can see one of them in photo 2. The shade is 4 inches long from back to front tip(i.e. The front to back diameter) The shade's side to side diameter is 4 1/2 inches wide. The shades front opening is 2 1/4 inches in diameter. It takes one of the narrow pointed bulbs. Unfortunately. The lamp has one panel of glass missing. Fortunately, it is in the least conspicuous spot. The underside. The framing for the petal is still intact. The missing piece can only be noticed by viewing the lamp from the back side(photo 11) or from the underside(photo 12) Because of Handel's overlapping petal pattern, the loss is barely noticable. Bright beautiful leaded glass lamp shade with attached heat cap. This auction is for the shade only. The shade can be used on a table lamp. Floor lamp or perhaps a pendant hanging lamp as well. There is a tight stable crack on the underside of the shade that I tried to photograph but is hard to see. Up for auction is this nice Handel S palm table lamp. The shade measures 19.5" wide and 7.25"deep it contains 8 sunset glass panels under a palm tree metal overlay design and 8 green glass panels under a S design. The shade is in great shape and marked as shown in the photos. The base is a nice complement to the shade the heavy griffin. The electrical wire going into the lamp appears to have been replaced at some point. The new owner may want to have the electrical wiring and sockets checked/repaired or replaced. The slag glass in the six panels of the shade is in very good condition. No chips or cracks. Very nice blue. Pearl white and mauve colors show well, especially when the lamp is lit. It gives off a nice soft, warm glow. The metalwork on the panels is in good condition; it is very detailed and has no damage. One of the panels on the back of the lamp does show some discoloration. It has a pinkish purple tint on the metal. As can be seen in the photographs the metal is a bronze/gold color on the panels as well as the base) I did not know if it should be cleaned. Antique Reverse Painted Moe Bridges Table Boudoir Lamp Handel Pittsburgh Era
Up for auction I have this beautiful Moe Bridges reverse painted boudoir lamp. The base is nickel or silver painted with blue enamel painted art deco motifs. There are 2 hairline cracks on the bottom edge of the base both are sound and stable. Not really noticeable unless your looking for them(shown in pics 5& 6) This is a Uncommon base the finish is in exceptional condition for its age, there is only some wear here and there. The shade has a really nice chipped ice finish. The scene features trees, bushes, mountains and water. There are no cracks in the shade, but there are a few tiny flea bites to the shade rim and a little paint by the fitter. The heat cap has some tarnishing to the finish as well. In total the lamp stands 13.5 inches tall, and the shade is 7.25 inches in diameter, its signed under the base as pictured. This is an antique vintage 8 panel slag glass lamp shade. I could not find any makers mark or signature but I did not remove any panels to look under them. It is 20 inches wide by 7 inches high. It has a 3 1/4 inch opening at the top. The frame is in excellent condition. There is one panel missing. All clips are there. This is a very nice looking shade. Antique Emeralite Lamp #8734 X Miller, Bradley & Hubbard, Pittsburgh, Handel
This is a wonderful Emeralite 8734 X Lamp by H.G. McFaddin Co of New York. It stands 14 1/2 inches tall on about a 7 inch round moulded base. The finish is a beautiful deep patinated Brass/Bronze finish and just looks great. The lamp has been correctly rewired and works perfectly. This is a little different than most of the Emeralite lamps. Rather than the wing nut adjustment apparatus for tilting the lamp shade. This lamp has the knob with a screw head in it and is spring loaded to keep the shade in place. To adjust it you can do a short partial turn with a screw driver and then adjust the shade where you want it and back the screw the short turn and then the shade will not move. First spring loaded one I have ran across. Very tight and interesting mechanism. For Auction is an Arts and Crafts style overlay slag glass table lamp made at the turn of the century. I believe this table lamp is made by Riviere Brass& Bronze Works of New York. New York. The table lamp is a nice desk size as it stands 22 1/2" tall to the top crown of the shade and is 18 1/4" diagonal measurement or is 12 3/4" square. The shade is 10" tall sitting on its fitter set-up. The shade has a wonderful Arts + Crafts 4 sided shape with that is made up of Green and Beige Opalescent Glass with a crown. The Deep Green Opalescent top is accented with a radically slumped or bent beige opalescent bottom row of glass. The Construction method is that of brass channel similar to the construction of the Tiffany Studios desk set Items. The bottom slumped row is further embellished with a"Grapevine" etched ... moremetal overlay pattern on top of the glass. The base is a single light and has a 4 sided flat bottom. The shade is supported by the shade holder with 3 screws under the socket locking the shade in place. The shade and base are considered to be in excellent condition. There is no broken or cracked glass and no missing filigree on the shade. The base is also in excellent condition and I put felt on the bottom after I photographed it to protect your furniture. The shade and the base are unsigned. There is a raised area on the base that appears to have a number but I cannot make it out. I have attributed this lamp to have been made by Riviere Studio's based on the construction and the Grapevine overlay. This company was made up of ex Tiffany Studios workers and they copied and made similar items to Tiffany. The Grapevine Pattern was one of them. They made lamps and desk set pieces using this overlay. This lamp has been professionally re-wired with the Antique Style brown rayon cord and it still retains its original lamp plug. Antique Handel Era Mission Arts Crafts 8 Side Slag Glass Gothic Superb Desk Lamp
Here's an extremely ornate and beautiful circa early 1920s octagonal gothic style desk lamp. There are 8 wonderful early slag pieces on the top and bottom of the lamp. Encapsulating the light. This is absolutely stunning and is all original as I purchased the lamp 30+ years ago. One of the nicest and most unusual lamps ive ever seen. The original lamp hardware was made by Weber Patents 250 w universal. The lamp is unmarked or perhaps I'm completely missing the makes mark. Heavy lamp weighing 13.4 lbs. The fire slag has beautiful reds, oranges and amber color and is absolutely stunning in the natural light. The solid base is wondrous and has some extremely ornate detail, covered in fleur de lis style designs. Lamp measures roughly 25" tall from bottom of base to top of ornate finial. The shade itself measures roughly 12.5" ... morewide by roughly 12" high and the base of lamp is roughly 6.75" wide. There's one small break/chip in the slag on top of the lamp as seen in the top shade flipped upside down image. The lamp disassembled quite easily as seen in the last picture. No reserve past opening bid for this gorgeous high quality guaranteed antique(circa 1915) leaded glass table lamp. Numbered"9" under base but otherwise mark appears illegible, see photo. Lamp has 16" diameter shade and stands 22" high, looks nice on or off, see pictures. Beautiful leaded art glass shade features graduating size light caramel colored segments over a band of darker caramel rectangles, with an apron consisting of 2 rows of colorful turquoise and blended color segments separated by light caramel segments and connected by alternating jewel-like green and red tapered oval pieces. Glass is all original. No replaced pieces. The leading has a gold tone finish, some minor wear. Metal base has color, shape and design that compliments the shade nicely. Original finish, minor wear only, see photos. The two sockets ... moreand pull chains work smoothly. The shade rests on a brass disc, which is unseen but is probably a replacement, looks newer. The cap/finial are definitely old but look to have been repainted, good match to base though. Lamp has been rewired at one time. Works fine. Overall the lamp is in very nice condition: there is just one little red piece that is cracked.very stable, and virtually unnoticeable since the little red and green pieces have a light-reflecting granite texture. Pittsburgh arts and crafts slag glass lamp stickley handel era
Nice original arts and crafts era table lamp attributed to Pittsburgh. The shade and base have the same design motif and are undoubtedly original to one another. The lamp appears to retain it's original surface on the shade and base. I do not know if the glass is original or not. It appears to be original, but it has been siliconed, or puttyed in. Please see pics. The cord is in good working order and was being used up until the other day when I decided to sell it. Nice medium size table lamp approx 24" tall, with an approx 18" shade. There is one separation in the top of the shade, as pictured. It could easily be soldered back, or left alone. The shade does not feel compromised and is still stable. UNIQUE LEADED LAMP NOT HANDEL DUFFNER OR TIFFANY STUDIOS
You are viewing an early 1900's leaded lamp made by the Unique Lamp Company in NY. The shade is about 20 1/2" diameter and about 10" deep. The flowers go from pink when it's turned off. Then. To red when they are back-lit. I'm not sure of he pattern, but I've heard the flowers referred to as cabbage roses. One of the flowers has two pieces that are chipped. They should be visible in the close-up photos. The flower next to it to the right has two tight hairline cracks. I didn't notice until a few minutes ago. But the next to last photo shows a close-up of an area which has been repaired. I count around 10 pieces which have been re-soldered. I'm not sure if any glass was changed or not. A lot of these old big lamps pull apart at some of the solder joints. The base is very heavy and stands about 27 1/2" ... moretall to the top of the finial. I put a magnet on the bottom of the base and it would not stick. I scratched the bottom and the scratched area was silver. So, I'm guessing it's spelter. If you have questions feel free to ask. 1930's Art Deco Handel Lamp Base
Up for sale is a beautiful art deco Handel lamp from the 20's-30's. This lamp measures in at approximately 22 inches tall and the lamp looks to be in pretty good condition. The cord is present but is partially disconnected from the lamp so I could not plug it in to test it. Their is no chips. Cracks, or pieces missing and the metal on the base and top of the black center is beautifully decorated. The felt on the bottom has come half off and the logo is on the bottom. THE FINEST & BIGGEST C1905 HANDEL POINSETTIA LAMP ~ BASE & SHADE ARE BOTH SIGNED
For your consideration I have this absolutely mint and authentic c. 1905 Handel Poinsettia& Honeycomb leaded glass lamp on a bronze base for the serious collectors. This lamp is absolutely massive. Measuring almost 30 inches tall, with a base that's 9 inches across the widest part. The sockets, finial, shade rest, and acorn pulls are all original and have acquired a fine bronzed patina. The shade is an impressive 21 inches in diameter and 11 inches tall. Out of the hundreds of small pieces of glass that comprise the shade. Only a very few have age related stress fractures(I see only one on the honeycomb section) The leading has a nicely aged patina and the shade is incredibly tight and rigid. A lot of old shades lose their structural integrity over the years and will flex and bend to varying degrees when picked up. This shade does ... morenot bend even a little and is a testament to the Handel quality workmanship as well as the wonderful care that the prior owners took with this item. The original copper hook for hanging the sales tag is still on the underside of the shade.something you don't see often(check the 7th photo) The wiring has been replaced with period cloth-covered wire and plug-in. It is ready to go. The signature on the base is a little hard to read. And the picture doesn't show it very well, but it's there, and you'll be able to make it out in person. ANTIQUE PENDANT OBVERSE PAINTED LAMP NOT REVERSE PAINTED LAMP - HANDEL ERA
Up for your bidding pleasure is an obverse painted hanging pendant lamp. The shade is obverse painted on a milk glass shade with two peacocks surrounded with a ring of flowers. The shade measures 8” across the top and tapers to 7 ¼” at the bottom. It is 5 ½” tall and in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. The entire lamp is 29 ½” from top to bottom but can add or subtract to the length. It is wired but there is no hardware included but you can pick it up at your local hardware or lamp shop. The colors and details are strong and vivid and it lights up well. This is a Handel era lamp and the shade holder is marked Hubbell. It has a single P& S(Pass& Seymour) keyless socket. Handel vintage art deco lamp with hand painted metal shade- FREE SHIPPING This is a beautiful vintage Handel student or table lamp with a metal shade. The lamp has a flared base with a single socket and bulb. The conical shade has a metal fitting that goes over the bulb. The fitting allows the shade to be tilted to direct the light. The base is a light brown metal color. The shade has a crackle dark brown exterior with hand painted flowers and white interior. No makers mark. The lamp is 15 1/2" tall to the top of the finial and the shade is 10" across. Great condition. The lamp has been re-wired some time in the past and we always recommend that lamps be re-wired for everyday use. There are some missing paint spots on the inside of the shade. Please see photos. ANTIQUE HANDEL GREEN SLAG GLASS DESK TABLE LAMP FILIGREE
We are pleased to offer for your consideration this wonderful table or desk lamp from HANDEL. It is a beautiful 4 panel multi shades of green slag glass and just gorgeous when lighted. I have tryed to take a lot of pictures of different angles so all aspects of the lamp can be seen. The standard is in excellent condition with aged patina but it looks like it may have been painted at some time because there appears to be a little bit of green paint at the base as seen in the next to last picture and that picture shows the HANDEL signature. I believe the sockets and pull chains are original to the lamp and they work perfectly turning the lamp on and off. The filigree pattern on the shade is outstanding and it is all in tact. The slag glass panels are beautiful and in terrific condition with the exception of one small crack(pictured) The picture ... moremakes the crack appear larger than it is. When you feel on the inside of the panel it can hardly be felt and I think its only about 1" long. The lamp stands 20" with the base being 6" in diameter and the shade being 12" square.

Art Nouveau Period Signed Miller Slag Glass Lamp Handel Bradley Hubbard Era NR
This is a nice period Miller slag glass lamp with floral overlay. The lamp has it's original patina with some age appropriate wear but look very nice overall. The carmelized bent glass is beautiful when lit. There are no cracks or broken panes however we do believe one pane may have been professionally replaced at some point due to a very slight difference in color. This is hard to notice but we want to be very precise in our description. The lmap has been re-wired at some pont and nice Leviton sockets added. They are reproduction types and with a bit or aging will look right at home on this beautiful lamp. Looks as through the original pulls were used with the new sockets. The lamp is signed on the base Miller Pat 1919. The lamp works well and will make a fine addition to your collection.
