We believe the pieces to be from the Eastlake(late 1800’s) period. Wood on both pieces thought to be mahogany but could possibly be walnut. Wood appears lighter in some of the pictures from the flash than actual color which is a rich darker brown. The matching pieces have unique Asian inspired details. We have no specific history on this set except that it has been in the family guestroom– as is- for decades and has seen minimal use. This is a really lovely Victorian set. Wonderful Victorian hall tree with elements of Eastlake style. This piece is made from beautiful dark walnut and has a central mirror with bevelled edges. The arched top and middle panel have quintessential spindle shapes above a scrolled. Tray-like shelf. A circular brass piece on the lowest shelf was likely intended for holding umbrellas. Four decorative brass hooks are fastened along the sides for hanging coats and have long threaded backs that allow them to be used to affix the hall tree to a wall for stability. A beautiful piece that will add a touch of welcome to any entrance way. Overall. This piece is in good condition, but does have some wear consistent with age and use. This is an antique chair in the"Eastlake" style. It has been stored in my possession for over 40 years. And for an unknown time before. Charles Locke Eastlake was an English designer. Is one of the founders of the Arts and Crafts Movement, and had chairs made from the late 1880's to the early 1890's. He advocated the return to simple design and honest value in furniture, and is considered pre-Victorian or Victorian in this time period. The caning was redone professionally. And is in good shape. Welsh Eastlake Style Shelf , Mantle or Parlor Clock Nice original Condition C7
For bids or Buy It Now is a nice old Welsh Shelf Clock in excellent running order with it's original Pendulum and movement. Movement is a clean as can be. Not sure about the winder key, could be an older replacement. There are a couple of chips in the painted dial. This is a one Family Clock and from my Grandparents Estate. The movement was serviced recently and I was told there is no excessive wear to bushings or gearing indicating little use. I remember this clock in the late 40's in their home in South Carolina. Clock runs with a good strong tick-tock and chimes as it was designed. The Black Milkglass insert in Pendulum has the Initials for the founder. Wood appears to be Walnut with it's original finish. This is a fantastic antique victorian shadow box frame with a large tin type image of someone's sweet little baby from long ago. Walnut 3" deep frame measures 12" x 14" and has a 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" frame opening. Large tin type image is mounted under glass and matted with an oval mat that has a 5 3/4" x 7 3/4" opening. Tin type is in very nice condition. Walnut frame is good and solid. Has several chips to the gilt trim along the edge of one side along with normal age related wear to the finish of the frame. A matching pair of Eastlake style chairs. Call them King& Queen. Call them his and hers, call them one is bigger than the other, I don't have the terminology for these antique things. But they are a matched pair and one is larger than the other. Casters are in good shape. 4 on the"king" and 2 on the"queen" King's left"arm rest" is worn. Overall I would call these very good. This piece has three drawers that have a fan designed bowed drawer pull handle that is hand carved. There is also a carved leaf design on each of the front corners for decoration. The walnut wood has a deep rich color to it that is complimented by a removable white marble top that is 7/8" thick and is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or stains. Antique Victorian ingrain carpet rug - wool aesthetic Eastlake pattern, HUGE!
This is a gorgeous Victorian wool ingrain carpet from 1875-1890. Measuring 13'2" x 10'11" It's in very good shape, has a beautiful aesthetic/Eastlake pattern and the colors are brighter in person than what my camera was able to capture. There are a few worn spots, a couple faint light blue stains, and small professional repairs including a few small patches on the underside(seephoto) None of these are not very noticeable in person due to the pattern. I did my best to photograph each worn/damaged area so that you can see it accurately. Please note: ingrain carpets were woven in 30" 40" wide strips and then sewn together to create variously sized area rugs. This carpet is coming apart at those seams in some places, as shown in photos. Please note these are NOT rips or tears. All you need is a $10 roll of carpet ... morethread and very basic sewing skills to fix it. I elected not to do this, as I didn't want to mess with an item that I'm not keeping for myself. I believe this piece is made of walnut and has detailed pressed wood designs as well as carvings in the crown. Crest, central panel, handgrips and the seat rail. The backrest has divided button-tufted cushions and is trimmed with a beautiful gold welt, or trim! There are beautiful burled wood accent strips on the crest rail and flanking the back cushions. The front legs are turned. The Green& Gold upholstery appears to be original. As the seat is showing some very slight signs of wear in the knap of the fabric. Overall this piece is in good condition. I do not know the maker, and think this piece is from the early-mid 1900's. This loveseat measures 36 1/2 inches tall. 53 1/2 inches long and 21 inches deep. This is an absolutely beautiful antique Victorian Woman etching from the late 19th Century. It is stunning. The frame is equally as gorgeous as the artwork; deep Eastlake walnut frame which by itself is worth quite a bit of money. The title of the work is"My Pretty Maid" 1886. Just look at the pictures of the back and you can see how old it is. It came from an old estate outside of Charleston. SC. You won't see anything like this anywhere else.not in this condition. RARE! Antique Victorian Eastlake Walnut Wood Inkstand or Artist Box! NO RESERVE!
Antique Victorian Walnut Wood Inkstand! NO RESERVE! What an unusual piece and in great condition for its age! This wood inkstand measures 6 1/2 inches high by 11 inches wide by 7 14 inches deep. It has a wonderful patina along with ebonized accents in the 4 top wells; two of which would hold inkwells. The other two would hold pens. There are four small bun feet and a good size drawer to put supplies. I'm even including all the old supplies that came with it! Now. This piece is old, and like any of us with some age come some blemishes. There are two splits in the wood on the bottom, they do not effect the structural integrity of the piece in any way. Also, there is some very slight separation of the top piece, not even noticeable, but I'm being upfront about my pieces. If you need more photos. A rare set of 4 matching Eastlake chairs. Very good condition. Appears from filing marks on wood to be hand-made. Intricately designed with burl wood as a contrast(see top of back and middle of shield)Beautiful spindle legs and cross-bars. No tears or breaks in cane seats; All chairs have been professionally tightened and reglued in the past five years. Cane bottoms must have been replaced but not otherwise changed from the original.

Antique Victorian Eastlake 3 pc Bedroom Set circa 1890's
3 piece Victorian Eastlake bedroom set consisting of headboard. Footboard, side rails, marble top dresser with mirror, and marble top commode/vanity. The nightstand in the picture is not part of the set, but would be willing to work a deal if you were interested in it. I don't know much about antique furniture, this has been lovingly used in our family since it was acquired in the 1930's. It probably dates back to the 1890's, and everything is in its original state since we have owned it, I cannot tell before that. I think the wood is mahogany. The drawers are dovetailed. The headboard is an impressive 84" tall and 54" wide. And 79" long. The bed uses a 3/4 size mattress. Mattress and box springs included if desired) The footboard is 36" high. The dresser is 90" tall. The bottom part measures 30" ... morehigh x 38" at its widest point. The marble top is 41" x 19" The commode is 30" x 31" The marble top is 31 1/2" x 30" and the backsplash is 5" high. This set shows signs of age and being used. Although nothing major, no cracks, etc. and the marble is in good shape. For about the last 40 years it was just used as a guest bedroom set. I would prefer local pickup. It is currently in Little Falls NY, 13365) although you are welcome to arrange your own shipping, and pay them directly and separately from the winning bid. 1880S ANT MISSION ARTS & CRAFTS EASTLAKE IRON/BRASS EAGLE-CLAW WINDOW SASH LOCKS
1883& 1887& 1893 patent-dated ANTIQUE VICTORIAN MISSION ARTS& CRAFTS MOVEMENT EASTLAKE(5) CAST IRON& BRASS FINIAL'EAGLE CLAW' WINDOW SASH LOCKS& 3) KEEPERS. There are(5) antique Mission Arts& Crafts Movement cast iron window-sash locks wit an'Eastlake' design. All are patent dated. There are(3) matching same patent-dated 1887 antique cast iron window sash-locks which have their original matching and fitted keepers, each one has a pretty ball finial at top made of brass(see pics) these locks are'1887' patent dated underneath in raised lettering and read: PAT DEC 27 87(the number"87" refers to 1887) these three locks have a wonderful Mission period'Arts& Crafts Movement' EASTLAKE design pattern embossed on the surfaces of each matching lock with a flower on one lever of each(see ... morepics) and a geometric raised design on each as well, all three of these window sash locks appear to be in good working order and in very good condition-PLEASE read entire description-one has old thick yellowish paint on it which could be removed-I left them and it in'as found' condition and only applied a light organic natural oil to clean and preserve the iron(see pics) both of the levers on the sash locks turn and manually rotate easily, each of these(3) locks has its matching keeper(see pics) on two of these locks there are no dents-chips-cracks-holes-splits-broken or bent parts, on one of these locks underneath there is a chipped piece of iron where the catch would be to hold the lever-this piece had been chipped of one this one lock underneath-it still works-it still holds the lever only it doesn't'catch' it into place-see pic included of this lock in close-up pic of bottom of locks provided) each one has some expected wear from age and use(see pics) each lock measures approx. with levers fully extended lengthwise 2 1/8" long x almost 1.5" deep x 1.25" tall, keepers measure approx. 2.25" long x 3/4" wide x 3/4" tall,
