1880s Eastlake 18K Gold 10 Panel H Muhr & Sons Thimble 6.5 Grams
I am pleased to offer this estate find Victorian eastlake 18K thimble that I am attributing to Henry Muhr& Sons Philadelphia Pa. The thimble is in excellent condition with no cracks. Bends, deformities and measures aprox 7/8" tall and has a diameter is aprox 3/4" of inch. IT is NOT monnogrammed and has one panel signed with the following a number 10, hallmark kings crown, the number 18 in a circle and hallmark lion. It weighs 6.5 grams. According to my research these are called a panel thimble and the number signifies the number of panels it has on the base, The crown and lion hallmark are traced to H Muhr& sons of Phila Pa which also did gold watch cases in the 1880s. The 18 in a circle signifies 18K gold used in the piece. I did my absolute best in taking the close up pictures and as you can see it is in great shape and ... morehas some nice design work traditional to this time period. Up for sale is this circa 1870 Eastlake style frame with original ebonized gesso on wood finish with delicate intaglio carved corner details. I especially like the potted plant at lower left. The frame features bright(fly-specked) lemon gold accent on both the outer and inner edges of the frame. Nicley offsetting the ebony. The ebonized finish has a few chips and scratches. And the top section has a brown tint to it(might be able to be cleaned, but I did not want to try) The lemon gold is in very good. Aged condition with a nice patina. Its outer dimensions are 13” x 15” And the rabbet is 8” x 10” The molding is about 3” wide and 1 5/8” deep, and has some rubs and scratches with stable finish. A wonderful. Sturdy frame. Antique Eastlake Walnut Secretary Desk - Late 1800s
This is an Eastlake secretary from the late 1800s. I think. It's solid wood construction, mostly walnut with walnut burl panels, very tasteful Eastlake geometric details, original wavy glass and beautiful original patina. Three adjustable shelves in the top book case; drop-down writing surface with original felt, two drawers, file bins and pigeon holes; one fixed self in the base. The two locks work with a replacement key, but they are a little sticky, and one of the rosettes that covers the writing panel pivot is missing. Measures: 42 x 85 x 11.5 top, 20 base. I bought this from a private party in DC about 20 years ago and now I'm downsizing a bit, so I hope it finds a good home. It measures 26 3/4 x 30 3/4 ins. in total size, and the insert rabbet for your art or mirror is 20 x 24 ins. The molding is about 4 ins. wide and it is a deep well with painted black ebonized lines on the surround. The frame is in FAIR as is antique condition, with some minor scrapes, scratches, some inner gilt gesso chipped off the slip liner, some black ebonized lines wearing away, and some miter corner separations, slight chip of wood off back right corner, unseen from front. It is fairly sturdy,and a good heavier frame. Please be aware this frame is approx. 1t is about 150+ years old. So will not be perfect like a new repro one. This is a set of walnut Eastlake Furniture originally purchased and used in Botetourt County. Va. but an early family. It has remained in the county since purchased new. I am the third owner. I have included outside shots and indoor to show you how they would look inside. There is only one fabric flaw that is pictured and it looks repairable if you do not plan to reupholster them. There is no shipping on this, only local pickup but location is just off Interstate 81 and hwy 11 near Buchanan, Va. less than 2 miles from the exit. C.G. Conn Connstellation 8DS(detachable screwbell) Eastlake. OH Manufactured in 1996 I received this horn for my 21st birthday as the principal horn for my university's orchestra. Wind ensemble, and brass ensemble. Unfortunately, by that point in my college career, I had decided to no longer pursue a career in music performance and I changed my major. Needless to say, this amazingly lovely horn got exactly ONE SEMESTER'S worth of playing under it's belt before I shelved it for good. I did pull the'ole gal out once in a while to oil her rotors and valves. But my playing days are well behind me now. She's a real beauty of a Conn 8D! A friend of my tutor's played for the New York City Opera(NYCO) at the time and he hand-selected this very horn for me after testing 6 or 7 other Conn 8Ds that were available in the same ... moreshop. This is an Eastlake, Ohio built model and it plays every bit as good, if not better, than many vintage Elkhart 8Ds that I've played in the past(including even my tutor's fully restored 1969 Elhart 8D) I always dreamed I would return to this horn, but 18 years later and with a family of my own it has become painfully evident that I don't have the time and I could certainly use the extra money. SOOO, with a touch of regret, I am putting my dream horn on the chopping block. I just had the horn inspected by a local technician and horn builder and he gave it a super squeaky bill of health. GREAT compression and insanely tight tolerances. The higher registers are very stable and even I can still hit the high C with no chops to my name. The lower register sounds amazing. Too! This horn has it's entire life in front of it. You are essentially looking at a demo model Conn 8DS. No dents or scratches. I'm being really nit-picky here and the only real signs of use are some minor discoloration on the finger keys and some lacquer wear around the holding points of the horn(see pics) I would rate the lacquer at 99% Other than that. This Conn 8D was made in Eastlake. OH and is in very good condition. I bought it about a year ago and am selling it because I no longer play. The serial number is 979711. Single Antique glass door knob on an Eastlake back plate. The glass door knob is a very old 12pt. faceted knob. The knob is 2" diameter and sits 2.5" from the plate nicely raised. There are chips along the edge measuring 1/2" in length. Please see photos. Set screw in tact. Allen Screw) The Antique Eastlake back plate is the daisy design. This plate has raised design in dark tones on a dark background. There is a very light coat of varnish on it. It is in great Vintage condition. The hardware iis reportion eastlake type. all measurement are approximent. It is 51 5/8" tall at the towel rack. 29 15/16" wide at the top of the stand and 17" deep at the top of the stand. The top does unbolt. Base is 28 1/4" tall, the towel rack is 23 3/4" tall and 30" wide. The drawer are 24" wide, 3 7/8" tall and 14 3/4" deep and two of them. The door area has two door s at 11 7/8 tall by 10 1/4" wide. The wheels on bottom are newer ones. 1800's Antique Stair Ballister NEWELL POST Victorian / Eastlake Carved Wood
For your Bidding consideration in this Auction is a very early NEWELL POST in Victorian/ Eastlake Style. It is elegantly carved on all 8 sides. This came out of an Estate in Daytona. Florida and had been converted a long time ago from Stairway Newell Post to a stand holding a large Bronze Bust. You can see in the photos were it had been converted expertly back in the day. The top section is flat and judging from the work gesso or some other plaster had been used in process of affixing the flat top to the post. The original electric wire is still coming out of the base that would have been the electrical feed for an ornate bronze lamp which would have sat on top of the Newell Post. There are a few scratches/ knicks form age but overall in very nice condition. It had a set of 4 very old caster wheels on the base when I got it but due to age, ... morethey were very worn out so I removed them. Previous owner had wooden floors and the wheels, theoretically, allowed the stand to be moved more easily rather than having to pick it up. It is a very solid wood(Oak? Walnut? but I am not sure which type it is. Appears that some of the carved recesses had gilt color paint in them at some point. A very beautiful piece! Pair of Antique Victorian Eastlake Walnut Parlor Chairs -Velvet
These beautiful walnut side chairs have that classic Eastlake Victorian styling. The front legs are on brass casters. The upholstery is velvet and appears to be original with normal wear given the age. They feature a spool rail and center carved medallion with wood railing flanking each side. There is detailing on the back of the chairs. The chairs are approximately 35 inches tall by 21 inches from side to side and 26 inches from front to back. They are solid and can be used in any room of the house. They would make a great gift or extra seating for the holiday season.

Eastlake Victorian Parlor Set 5 PIECES
I do not know the exact year of production guessing late 1800's to early 1900's. It came from the home of some well to do world travelers and was setting in her formal living room. There are a total of 5 pieces. All pieces are in remarkable condition and need a home where they will be appreciated for their fine quality. The larger settee has been recovered probably in the 1980's as the material has that look and feel. Possibly the Arm chair also. The pink have a very thick cloth and the ladies settee is velvet. Porcelain casters on front two legs of chairs and settees. I had an antique dealer authenticate these pieces as Eastlake. Antique Wood Brass Teardrop Drawer Pull Vintage Hardware Victorian/EastLake?
This is an antique. Possibly East Lake or Victorian drawer pull or knob for a small door. It is authentic and is not a reproduction. The knob itself is painted wood and pivots about 110 degrees. The collar is brass and the square bolt on the end is not seized. There doesn't appear to be any rust. But it could use some polishing. There is a tiny crack in the wooden teardrop at the base and the base is also just slightly offset with the brass connection. When straightened it measures 3.5" long(NOT including the threaded bolt on the back) The widest point on the teardrop measures 1" wide.
