Description This is a nice piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It is made of oak and is currently painted. It was originally the crown to a built in wardrobe. It is loaded with Eastlake Spoon Carvings. Carved corbels, brackets and ornate moldings. The body is 54.25 inches wide and overall 57.25 wide. It is 17 inches tall and 3.5 inches deep. Overall it is in good co ndition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Theare are a couple of light cracks and paint chips. There are no chips or cracks or scratches in the glass. It is in great condition. The glass is a crystal clear color with etched/ frosted band around the outside of the bowl. The frosted band has Eastlake/ Aesthetic Movement/ Asian/ Japanese style flowers that look like daises with leaves. The glass is very heavy and solid. The cuts of the flowers are sharp to the feel. This is a lovely antique Victorian shadowbox picture frame. It is in very good condition. With some minor wear to the finish along the outer edges, limited to a few areas not entire frame. It appears to have been repainted some where in time. However it looks very well done. The frame consists of 3 layers. The top layer of the frame is Black with carvings that are highlighted with silver paint. The second layer is silver colored. The layer closest to the glass is black with a design of rings linked together. The rings are highlighted with gold tones! Its truly a delightful looking frame. The outer dimensions of the frame are approx. 15 and 1/4 by 13 and 1/4 inches. Inner dimensions of frame are approx- 9 and 1/2 by 7 and 1/2 inches. This frame is suitable for either portrait or landscape style photographs. Prints. Glass is included with frame.

Up for auction is a wonderful pair of antique mid- late 1800's Eastlake style. Tall brass candlesticks possibly made my B&H or Miller. I say that because these were found in the Waterbury area and the top crown cast pattern is very similar to the hanging cast iron 4-6 arm oil lamp chandeliers of that time. I couldn't find a makers mark but there is a casting number 1165 in old style numbers. The style is Eastlake or Art Nouveau because of the flowers. Leaves and pineapples in the design. 25" tall! These would have been used in a home or church. The parts are solid brass held together by a threaded rod. Very decorative and unusual. Absolutely antique Victorian! Each measures 25" tall x 6" wide x 6" deep. There is some weight to these. Each weighs 5 1/2" lbs. No cracks or breaks in the cast brass. 19thC GOTHIC EASTLAKE AESTHETIC CARVED WOOD BALL STICK WALL SHELF MIRROR 44"x33"
Beautiful. OLD, 19thC wall mirror and shelf unit. This is a large piece measuring 44" wide, 33" tall and 5" to the wall. The unit features VERY ORNATE AND DETAILED carved wood with notched patterns and severe geometric cuts. The unit features a glass mirror in the center as well as a beveled side mirror. There is a stick and ball arch at the top of the unit and there are ball and stick balustrades on the shelf sections. This is a very nice unit with exceptional details. It is original with the glass mirrors still held in place with their original wood supports on the back. The top arch is held in place with the original wood dowels. The shelf is finished in a burgundy brown paint which is old, but I do not know if it is original. The unit is very heavy. It is in very good condition with expected evidence of age and use. There ... moreare some scuffs to the finish which can be resolved and are not terribly distracting. The glass is original and the mirrors do show some aging. They are not chipped or cracked, just some cloudiness and age spots. This is a beautiful mirror/shelf. Do to the size and somewhat fragile nature of the unit.
