Antique pair of Eastlake Victorian brass bronze pocket door locks
This is two pocket door locks that are done in the Eastlake style. They date circa 1890. Both of the locks have a curved plate though one curves out and the other curves in. Both are made of either bronze or brass. One lock is made by H&D Mfg Co. The black lock portion is 5 ½ by 3 ¼ inches. The plate curves out and is 7 11/16 inches high and 1 ¼ inches wide. There does not appear to be any damage. The other lock is made by Norwalk lock co. The black lock portion is 5 ½ inches by 3 ½ inches. The plate curves in and is 7 7/8 inches high and 1 ¼ inches wide. The lock portion has a hole in it on each side. We do not have the key and do not know if it works. This set consists of seven chairs. One has damage on the back that our cabinet guy will do over, so you’re actually buying six good chairs and one that had some repairs. They come with the old-time oxblood leather, which shows the crazing and some crackling, but is perfectly usable, with only some small tears on the corners of a couple of the seats. The leather has a beautiful patina. The chairs are all solidly built of tiger oak, with solid oak cross-stretchers, flared tapered multi-turned front legs, and other than the leather being a bit worn in places, the chairs are outstanding. The antique brass tacks are individually put in, not in a strip like they do in cheaper chairs. The overall size of each chair is 19.5 inches wide, 20 inches deep, 39 inches to the top of the post, and 21 inches to the top of the seats. They are very high-quality, comfortable chairs. Not sure if it is walnut or mahogany.Uses leaf springs instead of standard springs.One needs minor work.Needs some upholstery work( new trim and one arm needs material replaced)This chair was made when they used straw type material as padding and leaf springs for springs! I was going to keep it and cover both arms with( similar blue material which is easier to find) go with the original blue material. The floral pattern is mint and looks new. Eastlake Carved Chair Professionally Refinished for Sale!
Up for auction is a professional refinished. Carved, solid wood chair that appears to be an Eastlake! This is everything I can think to tell you about it: 1. It was purchased at an antique store in St. Charles. IL in approximately 1995 when I still resided in Chicago. 2. It was professionally restored by the famous Diebold Cabinet Shop in approximately 1998(see pictures for a story on them from the Chicago Furniture book) They are friends of mine and did the refinish as when the shop was slow so there is no documentation. 3. After being restored. It sat in a corner in a spare bedroom and was never used. 4. I’m not an expert on Eastlake furniture but it appears to be Eastlake based on the carvings and general style(there are no markings or carvings anywhere on the chair I can find that would indicate definitively it is Eastlake) 5. It is solid ... morewood but I’m not sure what type as I’m not an expert on wood. 6. It is in pretty much mint condition. 7. There isn’t a single nick. Scratch, dent, scuff mark, etc. aside from a couple of minor gouges present prior to refinishing. 8. All of the legs are tight(none of them rotate in the socket) 9. All of the horizontal bars are also tight(none of them rotate either) 10. The dimensions are 34” tall. 16” deep, and 17” wide(see pictures also) 11. Antique Eastlake Pump Organ in Oak, with stool
WOW Antique Oak Eastlake Pump Organ. Chas. E. Netzow Mfg. Co. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mid 1890's. This unit plays very well and all of the keys. Levers, pumps, and knee swells work. Unit has 2 candle holder shelves, and a shelf for collectibles above the music holder. Marked on back: S.610 and 143856 The music holder lifts up for storage. And it even has a key for the working lock! Some of the labels have come off but I have them. But there are 3 that are missing, and may be inside the unit, we haven't looked. Pretty beveled mirror is original to the unit. And it is a two-piece unit that comes apart for shipping. Original crushed velvet is in some places and was not replaced. Dimensions approx. 81"H x 50"W x 23"D. Stool is not original to the organ. But was purchased from an English estate. The stool has 1 leg that has ... morebeen repaired, but displays nicely and has original velvet and trim. Seat is adjustable in height by rotating seat. Up for auction is this antique doorbell. It was purchased at auction here in Ohio. It measures@ 5" in diameter. It has nice Eastlake style decoration on the brass bell. The back and inside components appear to be made of cast iron. The patent date on the inside is 1876. The bell is complete except for the pullchain. This listing is for a lovely hanging corner shelf which was possibly used as a clock shelf. I am not sure whether this is more of an Eastlake or Victorian piece. This shelf has very nice detailing with black accents. Measures approximately 16" along the back spine from top to bottom and 12" across. I would consider this piece to be in good condition- no cracks or splits. There is some separation at the top which I tried to show in one of the photos. This is a Very Heavy Antique Eastlake Brass Drawer or Cabinet Door Pull. This beautiful. Heavy pull weighs 11 ounces, nearly 3/4 pound. The backplate has classic Eastlake designs as seen. The supports for the handle are solidly riveted to the backplate. The back plate measures about 6" x 1 5/8" x 1/8" thick. The fluted portion of the brass handle is about 3/4" in diameter. There are four mounting holes in the backplate are in a rectangular pattern on 3 1/16" and 13/16" centers. The backplate has a very slightly curved edge profile as seen in an edge-on profile. This is completely uniform and the plate is so heavy it could not be bent. So it seems to me that this piece may have been specially cast for a drawer or cabinet door with a very slightly curved profile. Deep Walnut Wood Eastlake Victorian Picture Frame with Crewel Embroidery
There is no reserve on this antique Eastlake Victorian deep walnut wood picture frame. It is shadow box style. It measures 13 3/4 x 15 3/4 inches and is 3 inches deep. The opening for a picture is 10 x 12 inches. I think it has a wood backing but the back is covered with the needle work material and I do not want to take it apart. There is a hanger and it has glass over the framed crewel basket of violets. It has a gold colored wood liner outlined with a black wood liner. The frame has minimal age wear but still is in excellent condition for about 100 years of use. Buyer pays $13.00 shipping.

Being offered for sale Beautiful Eastlake Victorian Walnut Bookcase with Carved Hearts with Working Key circa 1880's.This splendid 19th century bookcase appears to have its rich original finish with great aged patina. Original wavy glass and hardware with working locks with a key. This bookcase features a lovely high roll gallery, turned finials and a beautiful valance of connecting carved hearts. Wonderful storage is found inside with three adjustable original shelves on each side with a solid board center, and two storage drawers below. This bookcase measures 73 1/2 inches high to the top of the rolled gallery at the back.67 inches in height to the front,with a total width of 42 1/2 inches, and a front to back depth of 16 inches and this bookcase weighs approximately 135 lbs. This is a beautiful Victorian bookcase thats a nice size ... moreto incorporate in about any room of your home. Its in wonderful antique condition with no issues we can find just normal marks of usage and character. The key works both cabinet doors but does not work the lock on the drawer. PAIR Large Tiger Oak Victorian Church Panels Spoon Carved Eastlake Library Doors
Matching pair of ornate. Architectural, salvaged panels, just dying for a little imagination. Solid, quarter sawn oak construction. Square nails mean most likely circa 1865-1885. Starting from the bottom, you have bevelled baseboard trim. Then is a recessed bevelled panel with fluted side columns. Near the top are small carved columns flanking a spoon carved Eastlake panel. Additional Eastlake flowers at top corners with a bevelled arch in between. Some wear/dings but no breaks, missing pieces or repairs. Slight finish imperfections but excellent overall condition. They are substantial Victorian pieces measuring 38 1/2 inches tall, 12 3/4 inches wide, and weigh 13LBS each. Many other ornate furniture pieces listed. all questions encouraged and answered. EASTLAKE STYLE SIDE TABLE OR END TABLE - WALNUT & BURLWOOD - PERFECT FOR LAMP
This charming Eastlake style side or end table is perfect for a lamp and to display accessories. It is made of dark walnut with burlwood accent panels on each side. There is nice carving and scalloping on each side. The top is slightly sun-faded and has been refinished. But the rest of the table retains its original finish. The measurements are 30" wide X 22" deep X 26" high. It is sturdy. This is a high quality antique and has been in my family for over forty years. It has been well loved and cared for. This item may be picked up by the buyer or the buyer's shipper. But I cannot assist with packing or loading. Being offered for sale is this beautiful walnut Victorian Eastlake Marble Top Lamp Parlor Table circa 1880's. This table features period incised carvings. Turned finials, drop carved accents and tall ring turned spindles flank the base with the original casters intact on all four feet. This lovely table measures 28 1/2 inches in height.30 1/4 inches wide and 22 inches deep and weighs approximately 55 lbs. This fine 19th century table is tight and solid and has a wonderful presence. There is a small chip in the wood on one of the drop carvings on the table apron. And one of the drop finials at the base is slightly different than the others. Lovely antique Victorian large gold filled cross channel set with natural lustrous seed pearls. Entire surface of cross is finely hand engraved with an intricate Eastlake Victorian pattern dating this wonderful old cross to around the 1870's. Not counting its big round bail. The cross measures 2 1/4" high X 1 1/2" wide and weighs a substantial 15.4 grams. No dents or dings. Gold fill has minimum wear considering its great age. Antique Eastlake Small Inside Door Locking Latch- Sargent& Co. This is marked on the back"Sargent& Co. Pat. July 14. 1891. Notes: This item is missing the knobs. Opposite side plate and the door jamb plate. The small knob that moves or snaps to the right and to the left only locks the knob(missing) from twisting. It does not lock the small handle. I'm guessing this was used for and inside room. maybe a bathroom? I'm not sure. I was told this came from a railroad passenger car. But I have no proof to validate that comment. This is made of steel. Painted black and copper. The front has aged with paint loss. Discoloration and mild surface rust. Measurements: 3 17/32" inches by 2 9/16" inches by 5/8" of an inch deep(not including the small handle) The small handle measures about 3/4" of an inch wide.
