This bed has a shaped crest rail of gorgeous crotch mahogany, underneath the crest are three inset panels topped with Gothic style arches and half drop finials. Their are a couple of chips of missing mahogany on the headboard~see picture.The bed which was originally roped and still has the knobs. The solid cherry post are topped with flame finials. The measurements are 83 inches tall at post, 71 inches tall at headboard, 58 inches wide and 79 inches long. The mattress area is 72 inches long, and 51 inches wide. The weight is approximately 100 lbs. This is a great bed the crotch mahogany is just outstanding. This bed would add WOW factor to any bedroom. It is sturdy and ready to take its place in your home. If you are a lover of the beautiful elegance of the Victorian period and are in search for a stunning display piece you will positively love this etagere. This measures a total height of 80 in( 6 ft 8 in) A total width of 34 inches and a total depth at the deepest portion of 14 3/4 inches, and the approximate weight of this piece is 55 lbs. The top of this etagere offers a incised carved pediment that rests between an arch. With raised carved panels of walnut accenting each side. Below is the vintage replacement mirror that is in excellent condition and measures 29 in high by 16 inches wide. Finely turned walnut spindle posts with turned finials, flank the mirror and offer support for the display shelves on each side. Below the mirror is an additional carved display shelf that is supported by a pierced carving. The largest shelf rests below the mirror and boasts of feather walnut and offers a unique small storage drawer below with early hand-cut dovetailed joints, and an open carved small gallery at the back. Elegant out-swept carved legs support the larger shelf and the display shelf at the base with the front legs having pierced carvings at about midway. They each measure almost 14 inches by about 7 5/8 inches. The other tiger oak panel has a middle, leafy pattern on the center, recessed panel. It measures almost 17 inches by 13 inches. Blanes Eastlake Style Cedar Wood Trinket Box Chest C. 1900
This wooden box belonged to my Great Grandmother. I believe that is cedar although I am not certain. It is 10 3/4 by 6 by 4 inches. It had an applied flower decoration on top but that is almost gone. There is a crack down the length of the bottom that has been repaired but the box is still very usable. The handles and carvings are all in good shape. Antique Victorian door knobs & plates Lock Corbin Brass Bronze Eastlake
These are 2 door plates- 2 door knobs and a lock. As you can see the one plate has a nice patina& the other. as well as the lock.is just Amazing to look at. The lock turns but will need some work or fiddling with because not as solid as it should be. I am selling this as is- like I do with some other things and then if I get the chance to work on something or bring it in I do and relist different $) Also as you can see the little groove on the side/lower area of lock must have been made long ago from the patina over it. These door knobs are from the 1890's as well but I do not know the maker. They're patina just happened to match very well and the door lock set that goes with them is loaded with many coats of paint and at this point I am listing and selling with these plates. I have a beautiful Burl Walnut Victorian Eastlake Aesthetic Period Bedroom Set(Circa: 1880) This gorgeous Victorian Bed measures 70” in total height from the floor to the high spot on the headboard. And 55” in total width. The total outside length of the bed is 77” The inside(mattress area) dimensions are 52" x 73" just shy of a standard bed(54 x 75) but way more than a 3/4 bed. Since it has the original spring frame, I had a mattress mfg cut their standard mattress to fit. Didn't cost extra. The dresser is 74" tall, 39" wide, and 19" deep, with beautiful brass hardware. The swivel mirror is detachable. The mirror itself is not original, and is in good shape. The bed and dresser were both refinished in the 1960's, and have a lovely hand rubbed finish. No repairs, breaks or issue other than an occasional scratch. Stamped#14 on back. Finish has a nice sheen and has been lemon oiled to preserve the wood finish so it will arrive clean, pest and critter free. Perfect to hang over doors, pictures, as a statement piece or attached to the other furniture. Conditions: Holes underneath to attach to furniture. Holes in back to attach to walls. So we had a square frame made to match the fire screen and I hand painted the interior panel in an Aesthetic Period design to match the fire screen. The fire screen itself is original and antique. Finish appears to be original. A very commanding an impressive piece. I've only ever seen one other ebonized fire screen this ornate. One old repair to one of the side posts(see photos) It is nevertheless very stable and quite usable. Otherwise I can see no other breaks or repairs to the frame. Antique Eastlake-Style Walnut and Brocade Slipper Chair, circa 1870
This lovely antique American slipper chair features detailed carving on crest and apron. With inlays of burl for accent. It dates to the 1870s, and is of classic Eastlake design. The rich walnut wood highlights the mellow cream, rust and gold hues of the brocade upholstery. The back is 42" high; the seat is 15" high and 20" wide. The original small metal wheels are functional on the gracefully curved front legs; the arched rear legs do not have wheels by design. Overall condition is excellent, with very small wear marks on one leg and the front apron. The upholstery is in perfect condition; this piece was reupholstered professionally about 50 years ago and has always been carefully handled and protected from sunlight. It was appraised by an Accredited Senior Appraiser(American Society of Appraisers) in 1997 at $900.

The silver plate on the top of the shakers and lids is uneven. The stand sits evenly on a level surface. The rotating plate makes a little noise when it is turned. Excellent condition 1880s Eastlake Victorian cast iron double inkwell. Triple pen rests. Same inkwell as in the Wells Fargo history museum in San Francisco. Second and last two pictures are photos of the desk at the museum. Same inkwell. Except their's is missing the back bar. This one is complete. No chips, cracks or issues. Also included in this auction is a real Wells Fargo& Co Express unused cover/envelope, as seen in the picture. The pen is included as well. Eastlake Adirondack Frame with Vintage Punch Paper Motto Holy Bible Book Marker
This punch paper is in great condition with no tears or missing stitches. But there is one small stain in the middle, as shown. I believe this was originally meant to be a book marker. It is in a Adirondack frame which is in excellent condition. It retains the original 4 leaves, lemon gold liner and wooden back. All the corners are tight with no loose joints. Co. of New Britian, CT circa 1895. Each knob is made of solid bronze, not plated steel. Each pair comes with 1 spindle(connecting rod) and 2 setscrews. Each knob has a lovely. Aesthetic(Eastlake) style design, which Corbin called, Ceylon. The beauty of the details are accented by a rich patina, which we opted to leave. We wiped the knobs with an oil-soaked rag ... moreto make them look their best for the photos. However, we didn't remove any of the patina. If you prefer your hardware bright and shiny, we could clean and polish the bronze either completely or partially, for an additional $10/pair- let us know after the auction if you are interested. The knobs were salvaged from various locations across the U.S. And were found in great shape with no breaks, cracks, chips, dents, or deep scratches.
