Fully rewired and is ready to hang. At close inspection I noticed some pitting at the chrome at the flank of the ceiling plate and two very minor fleabites at the glass. Here is a set of Herman Miller Arm Pads(right and left) that go on the Charles Eames designed Lounge Chair(ES670) The arms are made out of black leather and they are vintage from the late 50's or 60's. The arm pads are heavier than the current arm pads made today and they have the 2 threaded extensions on each arm. Which are shown in the photos. This is the way they were made in that era. Neat little set of vintage Fondue forks. Marked Japan on box but not branded. Handles are multicolored plastic. 1 of each, and are not damaged. Looks like some of the forks have been altered; some are straight while some bend up a bit; which I imagine was deliberately done to keep the morsel of food from slipping off in the cheese. Forks are Stainless Steel and if you buy both sets be aware that the boxes have different graphics on them. Sets are identical in color mix. Danish Modern H. Krenchel Eames Sterling Silver Mid 20th Century
This is a wonderful Danish modern signed H. Krenchel salad spoon and fork which I believe are made out of ebonite. The bowl is fantastic. It is black on the outside with almost an Eames black enamel finish. The inside being of highly polished mahogany. It is difficult to say whether it is laminate or not because the outside of the bowl is ebonized in all original black. The base is sterling silver and probably weighs a couple of ounces or more. The bowl and base were made by the Revere Silver Company in New York City and I think a little research may show that the bowl may have been designed by Eames or a great Danish modern designer of the period. Atomic era Rare WALL MOUNTED PLANT STAND Mid Century eames Modernist 50s 60s
Mid Century Modern Wall Mounted Plant Stand c.1950s( Probably German made) Gorgeous atomic era wall hung plant stand with adjustable green and pale blue tear drop formica shelves. The back plate is constructed from black finish tubular metal attached to a beech wood strut at both the top and bottom. There are two small hanging hooks at the top for ease of instalation. The four tear shaped surfaces are finished with a gold effect trim and have lovely era coloured formica finishes- 2 x pale blue and 2 x soft mid green. These each hang on a seperate bar and can be adjusted to prefered height and swiveled in and out for desired position. Its worth knowing at this point that the individual shelves stay in place when the unit is in the upright position and weight is applied- although if you where just wanting to display on a wall without plants ... moreor other objects they will also stay in place Offered in very good condition with signs of age. Previous use and storage as might be expected. Two of the metal poles are slightly mis-shapen( not very obvious) but the metal is quite soft and these could be straightened or made straight again. As pictured there is a crack to one of the wooden fittings that sits beneath one shelf but this does nothing to hamper. The formica is in very good- excellent condition with very little wear. The underside of each shelf has water staining and the screw fixings display with surface corrosion- All shown but given this fab items age the above mentioned does little if anything to spoil. The wooden struts are clean and without damage and the item on the whole is in great order- Displays superbly!
