Salvador Teran Brass And Glass Tile Mosaic Box With Colorful Birds Eames Era
For sale we have this wonderful modern Eames era brass and glass mosaic tile box. It was designed by Mexican artist Salvador Teran. His work is highly collected because of his striking modern designs. The base is marked. We have provided photos for you to view. The lid of the box depicts the heads of five birds. The mosaic is very colorful with a different color used for each bird. We found a similar box with the same design on another website but the tiles were not as bright and colorful as this one. The box is in good shape. All of the tiles are intact with no chips or cracks. The hinges are a tad loose due to wear over the years. The wood lining is a little discolored on one side as can be seen in the fourth photo. The box measures about 8 3/4 inches by about 6 inches. It is about 1 3/4 inches tall. This is a vintage 1950s Stylaire Cosco kitchen step stool This is the Mercedes of Stylaire step stools. I can hear Leigh and Leslie Keno saying"This is just how we like them. just the right amount of age to prove it's real. And not a reproduction. Pretty neutral colors go with every kitchen. I f I am correct this is the highest quality stool that Stylaire made. The least expensive stool was all enamel(no chrome) and no upholstery. The best ones. Like this example, have chrome all over the place, plus padded seats and stool backs. This one, I believe is all original. Even has all four original leg caps. The vinyl upholstery has a subtle abstract flower pattern. See the photo.There is paint missing along the top edge of the stool back, and on the edge of the steps. See photos. MID CENTURY WHEELER FLOOR LAMP TORCHIERE SHADE For your consideration is a vintage. Working floor light from the mid 1960s by M. G. Wheeler Company. The lamp is a gold or brass color. The shade is made of anodized aluminum- gold/brass toned on the outside and white on the inside which acts as a light diffuser. There are metal rods which are screwed into a weighted base. The arm which hold the light fixture can be adjusted to different heights. Additionally. The arm pivots in a circular motion. The base has a metal gold/brass toned cover over the weight. The lamp uses a standard size light bulb. The lamp measures approx. 56" high from the top of the shade ornament to the base when fully extended. The metal base is approx. 10" round. VINTAGE BARKCLOTH FABRIC PANEL - ORIGINAL EAMES ERA FABRIC 3 YARDS!
Here are the impressive specs: one drapery panel measuring 45" X 95" The selvedge(fabric edge) is intact and is shown in the photos. There is a 2" rod pocket at the top plus another 1.5" Making a 3.5" hem at the top; and a 5" hem at the bottom making the total fabric length of the panel a full 103.5" for a total of almost three yards! The hems are loosely hand stitched and could be removed very easily. There are NO spots, NO fading, NO marks whatsoever. This piece is as pristine as if it had been purchased yesterday. The auction consists of six Pillow cases Three are 22 x 22 and Three are 22 1/2 x 20 with a width of 4" on the large ones. 3" on the smaller ones. There is also a piece of matching fabric that measure 5ft x 1ft or 60x12 which has a crease in the middle and a seam somewhere about the last ft Condition is excellent on all of these pieces and the pillow have sewn in closures with snaps that fold over and are hidden. Vtg 60s Mid Century Modern Blenko Blown Art Glass Liquor Decanter Bottle Eames
Up for auction is a great vintage Blenko art glass decanter. It is in very good original condition. There is some cloudiness to the bottom. But I have not tried to clean it. The stopper is not an air tight fit. There is one blemish to the interior(like a small piece of glass attached to the inner wall) scratches to the bottom. Please see photos carefully for details. Very space are on it's sensibility and a perfect fit for a mid century vanity or bathroom. Only marked with the West Germany sticker but obvious it is a very high quality of glass. Has a few bubbles running through it which only adds to the texture for me. Chrome has some very minor pitting that can be buffed out. MID CENTURY EAMES ERA LIGHT CHANDELIER 50s 60s 70s Atomic Lamp
Gorgeous and unique ceiling fixture. Just looking at this colorful piece will brighten up your day. Seven different color plastic panels include orange. Green,yellow, smoke,red, purple, and blue. It measures 13" tall and about 16 1/2" in diameter. It has a 14 foot cord with a power switch. 11 1/2 feet are intertwined with a decorative gold-colored chain. The 30 rectangular color panels. With a large recessed circle in each, measure 6" tall and 3" wide. The white enameled wire support that holds the panels rings a large round frosted globe. There are some minor chips on the frame's white paint, and one smoke-colored plastic panel has a tiny chip on the top corner which is hardly noticeable(see photo# 6) The chip doesn't go all the way through, so the panel remains rectangular. This piece measures 21" W and 51" L-39" for the actual weaving and 12" of fringe The label says"Hand Woven by Mille Danielson" With the exception of a few askew threads-this piece is in very good vintage condition. I believe most midcentury textiles have been(and continue to be) undervalued. I don't understand as textiles were regularly featured and even showcased in the crafts and design magazines from 50's. 60's and 70's. Custom Danish modern dresser and nightstand in teak and Grey Brick Eames era
Up-cycled teak dresser that was one of a series of weekend projects with my soon to be 87 year old Dad. I am in charge of acquisition and creative design while Dad runs the production department. We have fun and a few beers. More often than not. This is a beautifully grained teak high boy dresser and matching nightstand. The top drawer has no hardware and the second drawer is double deep. It is designed to appear as two drawers. But is for your bulky items. Great brass and porcelain pulls. Brass capped peg legs. We decided to do something bold and chose the historic paint color. Mark Twain Grey Brick paint. I love the new modern look. This is a one of a kind for the person who wants something nobody else will own. Spectacular tall danish modern dresser mahogany. Top quality Eames era
This is an amazing. High quality danish modern 7-drawer tall dresser. The pulls are a work of art. The drawers are well constructed and have stained bottoms. I believe this is a designer piece with solid wood and craftsmanship you don't see any more. Barrel peg legs with brass cuffs on apron support structure. All drawers glide smoothly. Some marks from use especially from fingernails at pulls but can likely be covered with old English. In the top section are two banks of drawers hidden by sliding doors. Each door has a large chunky brass pull! The large three drawers below have integrated artistic pulls and in the pull slot of each drawer is a ha;lf-moon shaped brass protector.
