NICE Vintage Metal Eames Era Desk Flex Lamp Machine Age Gooseneck Light
This lamp was used in an office or a factory sometime during the mid century. Exact age unknown but believed to be from the 50's or 60's. The entire lamp including the shade is metal. Has a weighted base then about an 8" solid stem with about another 8" of flex. The paint is original and in super nice condition. The light has no dents with very minimal scratches on the base and one little scuff about the size of a pencil eraser on the shade. That scuff is superficial so you should be able to buff it out with some automotive polishing compound. The lamp does work however I do see a piece of electrical tape sticking out where the cord goes into the neck. The switch is fine. Bulb does not flicker when being turned off and on. Bulb is not included. When the neck is straight up the lamp measures about 25 3/4" tall. As shown ... morein the pictures with the bulb facing the work surface it measures about 18" The weighted base is about a 6 5/8" diameter. NOTE: In some of the pictures you will see a couple of white posts which is only the reflection of my lighting. Also the lamp is a bit more of a darker brown than depicted. Offered is this beautiful vintage DANISH MODERN teak and upholstered woven beige and ivory woven wool bar stool. It is stamped"MADE IN DENMARK" on the verso of the seat but has no other identifying label indicating the maker. The bar stool measures 34 1/2" in overall height to the top of the seat by 19"width of the teak cage frame at the top) by 21 1/4"width of the frame at the base. It is in superb condition with the wool having only a slight darkened spot on the back of the seat and another even lighter spot on the wool seat. Which are pictured. I have not tried to clean them. The teak is in remarkable condition and has no noticeable nicks, gauges or damage. It is a gorgeous amber in color and glows. It has a three-dimensional quality and has depth, making this bar stool exceptional for its choice of natural materials(teak ... moreand wool.It still also has the vinyl foot guard on top of the footrest crossbar at the front of the frame. One of the great things about this piece is how the woven wool seat is one form and how it seems to perch or gently nest on top of the teak cage frame base, which seems to suspend it in mid-air. I have up for auction a MID CENTURY MODERN CEILING LIGHT FIXTURE By CRYSTAL METAL. THIS LAMP COMES WITH STAIN GLASS SEPARATED BY A WOOD SPREADER BAR. This is a fabulous vintage light fixture in very good condition with no cracks or chips in the glass. Some minor scuffs to the wood and the ceiling cap seems slightly distorted. The fixture is 24" inches tall by 12" wide. The overall distance the light fixture hangs from the ceiling is about 36" The last picture shows 2 others they are part of a set and they are available in auctions in my store. Glass is in perfect condition with no flaws. New chrome fixture with two sockets that will take 60 watt bulbs each so may put out 120 watts of light.
