You are bidding on a MIX LOT OF 6(SIX) VINTAGE ANTIQUE GLASS DOOR KNOBS. I'm not sure what the age is on these. The knobs measure approximately 1 3/4” to 2 7/16” wide. The knob in front of the quarter has a base that is magnetic while the others are none magnetic possibly brass or bronze. The two that are paired up have their set screws that turn freely and tighten. There appear to be no cracks on the knobs but there are some small scratches and some scuffs. There is one very small chip on one of the knobs pictured furthest right. I did not try and clean them. I’ll leave the cleaning to the professionals. Nice patina! Very ornate. Even the doorknob wells are embossed with design elements around their perimeter. Solid. Heavy iron. Circa 1869-1899. Incised on reverse with the number 5928 by the original manufacturer. Condition is excellent. No cracks or breakage. No chips. No paint. No rust. No bending or warping. Design is crisp and clean. There are 7 brown and 3 brown swirl knobs. There doesn’t appear to be any markings. They range from approximately 2 1/8” to 2 ¼” in diameter. All the knobs are tight and secure to the bases. On the 4 sets, a few of the set screws will not come off the square connecting rods and 1 is missing. Both lockset sets turn with the knobs and the one attached to a portion of the wood door locks with the lock latch. There appear to be no cracks on the knobs but there are some small scratches, some scuffs, some flea bites and paint thru out.
