To start off I am a long time Gettysburg resident and relic hunter and I am starting to sell of my relics. This is a Georiga State coat size button that was dug with a nice hunk of cloth still with it. This button is in nice shape with no major problems at all. As for the cloth it has seen better days. The cloth is very fragile and crumbles when you handle it so you got to watch with that. The button was dug just as you see it. I got as much of the cloth out of the ground as I could. As for the location this button was found. This button was dug along RT30 west of town. I can see the Peace light frm the field this was dug in. It was dug on PRIVATE land. Normal 0 Set of eight matching original WWI-era French Naval Supply uniform buttons. In very good condition. Each button measures 2.4 cm. in diameter. And is of heavy stamped brass with a quadrilateral, separately-applied(clinched) shank. Obverse bears a fouled anchor with the wording“Equipages de la Flotte. Reverse is backmarked: A.M. Cie. Paris.backmark; All buttons in the set are in excellent condition. With only minor traces of brass polish remaining on some. These buttons were pulled from an extraordinary collection of 355 French military and naval buttons. Ca. 1820s through 1918 with ironclad provenance and all in excellent condition. Here is an old OLDS trumpet. Its pounded brass. Has mother of pearl buttons. The only numbers that I can find are 1772 and then 1. 2, 3 on the mid portion of the mother of pearl parts. Has OLDS embossed around the bottom part of the horn. I was told its maybe from 1934 or 1935 but not sure. It is missing the mouth piece so not sure if it works or not or if there are any other parts missing. Also looks like there may have been some paint? spattered on it at some point? This is a SUPER nice OLD Chimayo Indian blanket jacket that I believe was home made. It doesn't have a tag in it. So I don't know the exact size but I will try togive you really good measurements. It measures 19" across the shoulders from 1 arm seam to the other across the top, the arms measure 22 1/2" from shoulder seam to cuff on the top, it measures 15" from armpit to bottom waist, it measures 27" from top shoulder seam to the waist cuff, the collar measures 20" around. There is NO holes or tears, or ANY other damage that I have seen except 1 button is cracked from a knot(shown in photos) but it is still useable. If you have ANY more questions feel free to ask. On the top is written"Blue Glass" and"Mrs. Casper Baarman" Some have inlaid metal or paint. Not sure if this was a salesman sample or the work of a collector. Description ANTIQUE SET 6 STUD BUTTONS IN BOX Gorgeous antique set of six matching stud buttons. Each measuring 9/16" wide. Complete in original box with connector brackets, they have brass frames and each is decorated with a carved border and slightly concave design which really brings out the iridescence of the Mother of Pearl or Abalone shell- color ranges from purple to midnight blue depending on the light- sheen reminds me of a peacock. Box is faux burgundy leather print over wood with original brass hinges and brass push button latch- interior lid is lined in padded silk and buttons are fitted into cream velvet over wood.
