OH BASED UPON MY RESEARCH: The slumber chair was made by C. F. Streit Manufacturing Co. founded in 1871 in Cincinnati. OH. The"Slumber Chair" was made from the mid 1920's until World War II. I have included a lot of pictures because this sample book is in rough condition. It is VERY OLD& it's dirty! I have not attempted to clean it whatsoever. I will leave that up to the buyer. I think that the samples themselves could be cleaned up quite nicely with an upholstery cleaner. The metal binding& the staples that affix the little tags to each sample are rusty. Therefore there are rust marks/stains on the fabric throughout the book. Condition of samples: there are some rough spots, stains, and some of the outer stitching is coming apart on a few. The upper left of the black part that reads"Slumber Chair Cover Samples" is not there. Measures approximately 9 3/4" X 9 3/4" PLEASE REFER TO THE PICTURES AND ITEM DESCRIPTION& ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. AS THERE ARE NO RETURNS.
