It's still in very nice condition and comes with a Buffett Crampon case. The keys feel good and the cork looks to be in good condition. I'd suggest replacing pads and cork for the best condition. But does have some light nicks and scratches. As I said before. Keys feel good and have good resiliency. Some may need a little tightening. Cork and pads seem to be in good condition. But I'd replace them anyways. Case has some pen marks on the exterior and the buffet crampon badge has faded. Interior has darkened in some areas of the felt. But is still in good overall condition. This is a beautiful piece of American oak. I've collected for 20 years and have never seen a piece like this. I really don't want to sell but i have 2 in college. It is in good condition except it has a small crack in the small center door and would be easy to replace. It has flat glass on each side but the small center door is bowed along with the center drawers. the back might of been replaced at one time. Tiger Oak Buffet With Lions Heads, Reduced Again (For the last time)
Up for auction is this awesome solid tiger oak buffet in excellent original finish. The mirror supports are graced with fearsome lions heads as are the front legs which taper down into paw feet. I has all the original hardware as well as the beveled glass mirror. There is some rippling on the side panels which is hard to notice unless you get up close and personal. There is also a repair on the third middle drawer. None of these minor flaws affect the overall grace and value of this stunning piece. Additional picturea are available upon request. The top of this hutch is curved and has a beveled edge and pressed wood design on the inside top edge. The front corners have been cut on angel and tiger striped veneer applied for added detail. There are 2 bevel cut leaded glass doors on top. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or breaks. The base has 2 large drawers that are dove tail design and 2 large doors that ... moreopen up to ample storage. All the doors and drawers have matching original looking ornate metal pulls. This is a magnificent piece of furniture. There is a strip of burled wood down the center of the upper and lower pieces and the front of the lower doors have burled wood on them as well as a nicely designed inlaid tiger wood strip. This piece has great patina. The veneer has bubbled and chipped in a couple of spots but its hardly noticeable. The over all condition of this piece is excellent for its age. It is a very old antique and will not be perfect. I do not know the exact date it was made or who the maker is. The base measures 39 inches tall, 53 inches side to side and 23 inches front to back. It weighs 75 pounds. The top measures 34 ½ inches tall, 49 1/8 inches side to side and 17 1/8 inches front to back. It weighs 97 pounds. Up for sale is a 220v Volrath 3 Bay steam table. Very nice unit with seperate controls for each bay. And a master on/off switch. 3 lights, and a sneeze gaurd on one side. Nothing comes close to the depth of sound and playability that an R-13 offers. This one is in excellent condition. The wood is very nice and shows no nicks, cracks, chips, or blemishes. Buffet Crampon A Clarinet DG Prestige - Very Rare
Up for auction is a very rare. And special A clarinet- The Buffet DG Prestige. Some quick information on this model(from clarinetsdirect.biz) The DG. Named after Buffet's chief designer of the 1990's, Daniel Gautier, was one of their finest designs ever: The tuning of the RH 12ths is unsurpassed by any model in their current line up. The bore is slightly smaller than the RC, and less undercut, and the instrument responds with a dark and powerful tone, uniform across the range. This instrument was overhauled by Guy Chadash in NYC around July of 2012. He is an official North American consultant for Buffet. One of the foremost clarinet technicians in the world, and a leading authority on all things Buffet. In his words, the instrument is in virtually perfect condition- it looks like it's brand new. This clarinet is a"Prestige" ... moremodel and uses the finest of Buffet's materials and craftsmanship, and has a sound that is darker and more powerful than anything Buffet currently produces. The intonation is outstanding, and response is incredible, especially in the low register. This clarinet comes with a double attache case(in good. But not mint condition- the handle is slightly worn) and a single 65mm chadash ringless grenadilla barrel. This is one of Buffets most in-tune A-clarinets, and the barrel helps bring it even more in tune with itself, while providing additional ring and clarity. The instrument features unstained premium grenadilla. Silver plated keys, an alternate Eb lever, adjustable thumb rest, and(though not pictured) comes with the original DG prestige barrel, and a 65mm ringless chadash(pictured) It comes with no mouthpieces(and though there are two chadash barrels in the picture, there will only be one chadash barrel included) Finally. According to Guy Chadash(who knew the designer of this instrument well, and is a consultant with Buffet Crampon) the DG Prestige A clarinets turned out, on average, far better than the Bb models, which were outstanding instruments.
