Vintage Baker Furniture Superb Console Table Caned Shelf Hollywood Regency MCM
This is an amazing thin lined Baker Furniture console table that has some beautiful matching wood with great fire in the grain on the top panels. The burly wood if framed by a lighter wood that the whole top is rimmed with a thin edge lip. The legs are super thin with 8 of them in place with the tiny queen Anne feet. The caning is perfect. Tight with no breaks or repairs. The caning does have some minor surface wear to the finish. The table is in excellent condition with one minor mark on the top lip and some normal minimal minor wear to the surface of the top. Overall this is at least a 9 and has the original Baker tag on the bottom. This piece is circa 1960 and I have not been able to find any info on who designed it or what collection it was offered in. Baker Furniture Mahogany Butler Coffee Table. Lovely mahogany drop side butler table made by the Baker Furniture Co. The table is one piece so the top tray does not separate from the base. Excellent vintage condition probably refinished a few years ago. Light scratches under finish on edge as pictured. The solid brass hardware has some light wear. When the sides are down the table measures 41 inches in length and 32 inches in width and 18 ¼ high, when the sides are up the table measures 34 inches long, 25 inches wide and 22 ½ high and the Baker hallmark is underneath. Oval mid century modern Baker furniture dining table with 4 table leaves 0 chair
This table is in great shape over all. There is one dent I saw in the edge of the oval. Small really. The top has some imperfections. But is in good shape. There are 4 table leaves as well and no chairs. Meares 65 by 43 1/3rd and is 29 1/4 inches tall. The table leafs measure 18 by 43 1/2 inches. See photos for details. Vintage Original Baker Office Furniture Tag or Label Replacement Part Pittsburgh
I have a wonderful collection of 40+ Furniture Labels or Name Tags that came out of a cabinetmaker's shop to list tonight. Most date from the 1940's-1960's. These are all highly collectible and will add significantly value to any authentic piece of furniture of the brand that is missing the tag. These are all original and were all removed from various pieces of furniture that came in to the shop to be repaired or reworked. All in good to excellent condition. These original were affixed by glue to a piece of wood that hung in the cabinetmaker's shop so you will find glue residue on the back of most. But this in no way devalues the tag.
