Base marked Made in England English Pewter and design number 0287. It is a stunning piece of metalwork with a strikingly vivid enamel centrepiece. Condition is very good as far as there are no breakages to the metalware- however. There is some splitting to the enamel work on one side as photographed. Nonetheless I have seen them sell for a fair amount without an enamel work atall- so overall I do this this is a very nice displayable piece. It measures approximately 11 inches in diameter. Beautiful vintage hand hammered Cornish pewter pitcher from James Dixon& Sons. Sheffield, England(see photo) Original patina. Wood handle. Pitcher measures approximately 6 3/4 inches tall, 7 inches from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout, with a 5 1/2 diameter for the widest part of the lower pitcher. There is some staining on the inside bottom of the pitcher; a slight surface abrasion on the outside upper portion of the pitcher; and a slight dent with a light scratch on the edge of the bowl(see photos) Otherwise, the pitcher is in very good vintage condition. This is a Arts& Crafts Style Metal Lamp& Shade in good condition for its age. Lamp has a floral cut-out in the metal with a marble in the middle to allow light to shine through. It does have some surface rust. Mostly inside the shade and could probably use a good cleaning. The lamp is fully operational and measures approximately 17 inches tall to the top of the shade. Antique Arts & Crafts Mission Oak Tall Case Clock/Great black stain!
A very fine. Circa 1900, antique Arts& Crafts Mission Oak Tall Case Clock finished in black stain. It has excellent provenance as shown by the letter in my photos- it was owned by the President of Boston Edison, so it came from a well-to-do Boston family. That correspondence will be included in the sale. The structure is made out of oak with what looks to be the original black stain. I do not see any maker's mark on either the clock or the works. Size is impressive: 77&1/2" high, 18&1/2" wide and 14&1/2" deep. The chains are finished with wonderful original carved acorn pulls. The original weights are a study in the Arts& Crafts Movement itself- they have a simple, yet stylish shape typical of the Period. Each weight is about 7 pounds. The chain runners going through the housing are porcelain. The pendulum ... moreis finished in brass- the stylized numbers on the face and the hands look to be original and made of brass. Condition is as found and as shown. The clock has been running great(and keeping good time) for the few days we have owned it. However, I have not heard it gong, but I assume with some tinkering, it will. The hammer is there, etc- I don't know enough about clocks to know why it is not sounding on the hour. I think most of the black stain finish is original. There may be some later black stain or paint on a portion of the slats on the back. Tilted in the light, you can see it is more opaque than most of the oak- most of the oak has a strong feeling of the grain of the wood showing through the stain. The slats in question cannot really be seen behind the pendulum and weights. Finally, there is one rivit missing on the lower left side of the clock. Structurally it is very sound- the finished end of the rivit is gone. Overall, this is a beautiful, simply-designed clock that could fit in virtually any decor. Unlike the cliche of your basic, old grandfather clock, this clock has a sophistication and clean lines that are quite pleasing. The strong provenance certainly a

We are pleased to offer this antique to older vintage. Hand crafted, solid wood, collage picture frame. This grand and heavy frame features thick oak construction(no veneer) with an overall rectangular design. The frame has 12 large carved individual frames inside the outer frame which are set in 4 vertical rows of 3 horizontal frames. Each frame has an oval opening and, because of the thickness of the wood, the picture sits very recessed inside the opening. There is a beautiful, arts and crafts style carving, burned or incised pattern that surrounds each individual opening and makes each one seem independent of the other. There is a scalloped border around each oval opening. Inside the scalloped design are very petite flowers. The frame is further divided with straight line incisions. Petite flowers and leaves accent the lines at each intersection. ... moreThis is a gorgeous frame and quite nicely made. It has been refinished at some point and is in very good condition. There are two areas of splitting(see pictures 8 and 9) These have been filled under the surface and they do not affect the structural integrity of the frame at all. The frame has two attachment screws on the back for hanging. The glass(not included) would be secured under the cardboard backing. INCREDIBLE AND GORGEOUS FRAME! This is a large(and heavy) wall frame. The outer dimensions are 35" tall x 22" wide. Antique Arts & Crafts Mission Oak Working Wall Clock circa 1915
For sale. A very old Arts& Crafts Mission Oak or Maple wall clock. This is a working clock that has a strong"GONG" at every 1/2 hour. Also has full count"GONG" for any hour. I tested by tying a string to pendulum and movement and and got a report without fail. This clock has been professionally refinished with only the pine back door left untouched. I think the original owners slightly modified the bottom wood furniture as it is quite different from others I've seen on Ebay. Actually, this modification really gives this clock character. There are no scratches, dents or bumps to the wood. You will notice that the wood grain is all uniform and is a seamless match. Clock still has strong winding mechanism for setting both gong and time. Still with all original nuts, bolts and they are with heavy black patina. Pendulum ... moremovement moves and swings freely. Pendulum size is 4.5 inches in diameter. Back of pendulum is cast iron and stamped"S. CLK. CO. No.31" This old timer has an wood face that measures 13" by 13" inches. But the double, forged iron handles stand 3” tall. It is in excellent condition with a tight separation near one end. The nature result of shrinkage of oak over a period of 110 years or so.
