Antique Wooden Kitchen Shelf Clock w/Art Nouveau Back-Painting, Ornate Pendulum
This antique kitchen clock is an estate-sale find. It is in"as found" condition and needs work. But is 100 percent original and"un-messed-with. The glass is good, with its original Art Nouveau stenciling intact; the paper clock face is poor. Replacements are available from Klockit and other clock-repair supply houses. The cast-metal pendulum is ornate and depicts a scene with what appears to be a castle. This clock runs a few minutes. Then stops. The spring for the chime is broken or detached. The single"ding" on the 1/2 hour works; there's also some sort of key-wind alarm at the bottom. You wind it up and it hits the chime until it has unwound, I'm not certain how that feature is supposed to work! There are parts missing from the top, and the original finish is very dark and dull. A remnant of the instruction ... moretag remains on the back. No manufacturer's marks(you have to remove the face to see the clock works, I have not done that so I don't know if they are marked or not) Measures 21.5" tall by 14.75" wide, by 4.75" deep. Here we have a stunning Art Nouveau Jardiniere with amazing double female head motif on both sides. The detail& design is just super. This piece is large& grand being aprox 17 inches wide. It is heavy with a weight of aprox 6 1/4 pounds including copper lining. It is in good condition for age but has one wave type leg on each side that is gone. It is still very stable. Rocks a bit. There is a leg on each end plus one wave type leg per side so again very stable. In addition, the detail over the ladies head on one side has some wear. A piece like this will for sure be noticed& admired. I think it is fabulous. The only marking I see is the name Prescott in script on inside. Thank you.

I am not sure what they were originally used for. But would make fantastic shelf, plant holders, light holders, or any number of repurpose uses. New owner would need to take the pair to a welder. Antique Hand Embroidered Silk Table Runner Boudoir Scarf Edwardian Art Nouveau Embroidery This antique table runner is a unique fabulous example of hand made embroidery work. The embroidery needlework is at each end of the table runner and has an art nouveau flower and flourish design. The table runner is further embellished with a metallic trim around the outer edges. The table runner is fully lined. The Edwardian art nouveau table runner probably dates to the early 1900's. Table Runner Measurements: 60" x 19" Table Runner condition: The table runner is in good pre-owned condition with some small flaws. First imperfection- Close to the center of the table runner. There is a small circular stain which may or may not come out with cleaning(see photos) alongside a hole(read info re second imperfection(see photos 4-7) Second imperfection- ... moreThere is a break to the silk which has created a hole where the stain is. Although there is the hole. Because the table runner is fully lined it is a littles less noticeable. There is also a pea size hole close to the hole at the outer edge of the silk runner and the metallic thread(see photos 6 and 7) Third imperfection- On the metallic trim. The trim has come loose from the edge in 3 spots and just needs to be tacked down with a needle and thread. Specifically. There are 2 spots approximately 4 inches where the trim is loose as well as some broken threads on the metallic trim. One 1 spot loose approximate 1 1/2" see photos provided) The silk table runner has darkened with age and is a golden shade of color.
