Art Nouveau Brass Bead Necklace with Ornate Flower Pendant
This Art Nouveau brass necklace is both unusual and absolutely lovely. The beads have angled cut grooves and are inter-connected with wire. The flower pendant is 3.25 inches long and 2 inches at its widest. It has a slightly domed front which accentuates its fabulous detailing. The pendant has 4 ornate brass beads that hang from its bottom. Both the beads and the pendant with its dangling beads are all metal. Thus the necklace is quite a substantial piece and really looks spectacular on. The necklace is 22 inches in length and closes with its original brass hook and ring clasp. It is in excellent condition.

This is a vintage Art Nouveau pendant. To me it looks like a fly with a carved iridescent stone. It appears to be made of brass but I didn't try to clean it. this is an exquisite vintage Art Nouveau silver plated over solid bronze mantle clock. it is extremely heavy and sits on a rectangular solid black marbler base. it depicts a very ornate winged fairy lying on her stomach with hands propped on her chin and her detailed wings hold the large clock base. the clock has a wonderful casing with a solid finial and large threaded backing. the quarts face has a wonderful bubble shape. it has black arms with roman numeral numbers. the silver is still completely present and has a nice tarnish that can be shined up if desired. very heavy and measures 7 1/4 inches tall by 7 1/4 inches long by 4 1/8 inches wide. the clock works great. It sort of has an Art Nouveau look to it. The settee is about 49" wide(seat itself is 42" and 37" tall. Both pieces have the Thonet paper label as well as the stenciled"Thonet Austria" The caning is hand woven not machine made. It would be very costly to have all this caning done today. Not sure if the caning is original but it is in very good condition; the last picture shows a few very minor breaks in the chair seat. Vintage early 20th Century brooch with a design that has elements of both Art Nouveau and Art Deco styling. It is not signed but looks to have been made in the Bohemian/ Czech area. The brooch is fractionally under 2 inches long(1& 15/16ths" x just over 1& 1/8th inches wide. The main oval piece is a stamping to which some filigree trim and claw settings for the topaz-coloured rhinestones have been added. This is one of my favorite pieces that I have had the pleasure of owning for so many years. It sure makes its own statement. The pin measures 3 ¼” wide by 2 ½” deep. Large center amethyst foil backed stone. The stone measures 1 ¼” long by 11/16” wide. I did notice when measuring the stone that there is a chip at the top. I tried to capture a picture showing where it was located. The design on this brooch has such wonderful three dimensions to each pattern. Each detail of the bug or fly. The flower and leaves, the flower at the bottom and all the other designs surrounding this piece. On the back of the brooch has a nice long pin to hook into your dress. Up for bid is one antique. Art nouveau German Hutschenreuther porcelain china biscuit or cracker jar. Two handled jar measures approx. 10-1/4" wide-handle tip to handle tip. Height measures 5-1/4" to top of lid finial. Pink. Floral transfers on both sides of jar and lid. Color is green fading to an almost antique white. Edge of lid and jar rim trimmed in gold gilt. Handle tips and finial also have some gold detail. Bottom bears a green stamp that has a"JHR" or"JR" within a circle, Hutschenreuther Gelb" in script and"Bavaria" Condition is very good to excellent. Fabulous antique large handpainted Porcelain Bowl *must see* Art Nouveau
This is a sensational large vintage bowl decorated with such vibrant colors and heavy gold. I think it comes from China or perhaps Japan. Maybe some nice Ebayer can advise me. It is 11" in diameter and it is 3 1/2" high. There is no loss of paint, in exceptional condition. Gold is all intact also. reminds me of Art Nouveau. Insects-including dragonflies, bees, beetles, spiders, etc. have been a common motif in vintage jewelry since Victorian days. The bee is known as being symbolic of diligence, hard work and activity-the perfect attributes of a graduating student! Wouldn't this beautiful vintage pin make a meaningful graduation gift for that special young lady? I also have one with an opal body, and a dragonfly in my listings this week-please take a look. This bee pin probably represents a Queen Bee. As it is studded with a gemstone(pearl) It's wings are outspread and made of textured gold-and her legs are also made to look"realistic. She has a fat pearl body. The ... morebottom half of the pearl has been sliced off(like a Mabe' pearl) so it fits snugly in the prongs. The pearl measures 7.62 mm. And the pin clasp part is hidden underneath it. You could even string a chain through this bee, and wear it as a pendant, because the entire pin stem is actually hidden. This piece is hallmarked 14K in a raised cartouche on one of the wings. And it tests positive for 14K gold. It measures 1 1/8" across the wing span, and 3/4" top to bottom.
