Definitely like the unusual, especially in antique and vintage items. After selling antiques for over 25 years I am still always surprised at what I find that I have not seen before. This is a very large glass shade but is still significantly smaller then the other globe that I will be adding to my store. Once I figure out how to ship it. I will need to confirm the best way to mail/ship it, and the chrome hardware, that goes with it. The center of the"Rings" Are painted, almost looks like a blue or grey, bluish/grey, see picts. Words do not do this globe justice. And I have pictures all around so that you can see how great this looks, and imagine how incredible this will look when mounted on a fixture, this sale is for the globe only, see picts. The Art Deco Space Ship/ Machine Age globe combines the deeply molded rings that radiate from the center circle. Like the rings around Saturn. Rest of the body has an angular cone shape, as it flows to the opening that would mount to the fixture, see picts. The diameter at the widest point. Outer edge of the rings, is approx. 15 inches and it is approx. 10 inches deep. The opening is approx. 5 7/8 inches in diameter to the outer edge. The thick pressed glass shade has a pink exterior finish. With a fabulous swirl pattern of clear raised hobnail dots. It has a matching clear pressed glass center stem& canopy cover, over a chrome plated replacement canopy. This has a 2 light fixture that has been completely rewired with new cluster sockets& wiring. 60 watt max fan or appliance size bulbs recommended. It measures a nice size of 11" wide x 11" from ceiling to bottom of shade, making it a great choice for lower ceilings in a ranch or bungalow. These unusual Ivory Colored lamps are in good vintage condition. No Cracks or Repairs and just minor scuffs and/or normal slight discoloration on some seams. They measure 8" tall(from bottom to top of socket) and the circular base measures 5-1/2" in diameter. They extend approx. 6" from wall. Art Deco Mid Century Skyscraper Plastic C.N. Burman Co. TV Lamp Vintage This auction includes free shipping with FedEx Ground to the contiguous United States. I occassionally use USPS for lightweight items if it is cheaper. It has been tested to make sure it works. And is set for a one-way bulb. This lamp is 12.5" high and 5.25" square. The C.N. Burman Co. sticker on the socket is almost completely off. There is plenty of dust in the interior, which is difficult to clean. One side of the lamp has a bunch of melted spots. It's the side opposite of the knob. There's one picture where you can see the added melted texture on the black section, but the picture of the white section didn't show it very well. I believe there was supposed to be another glass insert intended to be used as a planter but it is missing. The other insert is in good condition with no chips or cracks. The lamp is about 6.5" tall. 12" long and 4.5" wide. It is in good working order but is a little dusty and could use a good cleaning. VINTAGE 1920's ART DECO NOVELTY POCKET FLASHLIGHT LAMP W/ORIGINAL BULB WORKS NR
I only ship internationally using eBay Global Shipping! This(almost) antique pocket size flashlight is in good working condition. It has no maker's marks. But it does have the original working Mazda bulb, and the original'British Made' batteries, which have long since lost their juice. I put 2 AA batteries in it(not included) and it lit right up. I believe it is made of brass(non-magnetic) but cannot be sure. There are no splits or dents, and most of the finish is good, with a few dark spots, as shown. One of the battery cradles is corroded, but all the contacts are obviously functional, and the inside cardboard sleeve is in good condition. It reads'Battery This Way' with a picture on both ends. The sliding on-off switch on the side works fine. The 2 original batteries came in a single sleeve, and could be used end to ... moreend, or split in half and used independently, as in this case. This auction includes a set of two vintage small white art deco glass shades which have rough cut top and bottom rims. I have seen these type of shades on the old chrome wall sconce fixtures. They measure approximately 4 1/4" tall(one is slightly taller) By approximately 3" across the top openings. The smaller fitter ends measure just over 1 5/8" across to the outer edges. Both are in very good condition. And have no chips or cracks overall. There is minor roughness with some small chiggers to the small fitter rims which is typical on rough cut shades. For Restoration- auction for ONE lamp only Vintage RONSON(lighter company) Chrome Nude Lady(oriental face) Lamp. Needs some restoration but nothing major. Black base needs repainted and the globe could be replaced. The globe is cracked and really rough around the lip because when you take it off the base is flakes(made to lock in place and sits perfect in the lip) Base is dirty with paint loss. Chrome has some very light scratches/pitting/oxidation. The bottom plate is off of it and at one point someone tried to reattach it with solder on the ends. Check the pictures. I am guessing this Lamp to be from the 1930's. This gorgeous Lamp has a pink shade and stands approximately 17 1/2" tall. It is approximately 11" deep from the outer edge of the arm to the far edge of the shade. This Lamp features a lovely Dancing Lady Figurine with a long. Flowing dress and a wide-brimmed Victorian hat! She has what I'm pretty certain is a delicate hand painted celluloid face and flowing blonde hair in ringlets. Her face needs a little cleaning, but I do not know what to use and do not wish to damage it. No cracks or breaks anywhere on the Lamp, but it does have a few white specks and is dusty and needs cleaning. The figurine is a little bit loose ... moreand need to be tightened on the bottom. The pink shade is also nice, but does have some scratches, light marks and needs cleaning. The bottom inner rim of the shade has roughness around the edge. Art Deco Graphite Ashtray Lamp Base Vintage Art Deco Lamp Base Solid Graphite Ashtray Extremely Rare Piece 9-1/2" Diameter x 2-1/16" Tall Weight 6.5 Lbs Wonderful Repolished Condition Selling As Lamp Part. Eclectic Ornamental Base Or Sculpture Art Stand This amazing piece has all the tell tale signs that it was originally a lamp base and obviously the Art Deco styled cutouts around the top edge were meant for cigar. Cigarette, pipe. We do not believe it was ever used with tobacco because we see no staining and it has no odor. Most likely, car keys, nick-knacks, and trinkets were placed in the bowl. The center hole for mounting lamp and wiring is 1/2" inside diameter. When seeing this piece. You notice that it is black, but as you move about the silver sheen pops from it dramatically. It has been professionally polished. There ... moreis a tiny nick around the outside brim edge that is barely noticeable and has been buffed smooth so that there is no jagged edge. The bottom is extremely smooth as well and has an unusual dog bone shape imprint as seen in photo above. Any miniscule dings on any edge surface has been buffered smooth. Notice the 1/4" inset at the bottom hole where the fastening nut once had been. Graphite of this nature is rarely used in house ware articles. The only thing that I can find similar to this that were not graphite were other Art Deco lamp bases. The other household pieces that I have seen that may be graphite are small ashtrays. Graphite is primarily used as the main element of a crucible. Crucibles are used for smelting(melting) down precious metals and other metals in preparation for being poured into molds. The little Art Deco angel trophy was only used as an example and to spark ideas for this piece. The glasses and angel are just to show size and only used as photo props. Thanks for looking. Rare 1930s Antique Art Deco Walton Electric Fan Lamp Works A+. Vintage + Brass
Rare and Wonderful 1930s Walton Fan Lamp NO Reserve Auction! Fresh from a local estate is a wonderful and scarce Fanlamp. Manufactured by the Walton Laboratories of Irvington, New Jersey. A couple companies sought to capitalized on combining lighting and ventilation in the 1930s and 40s(Walton being one) but the idea never attracted much public interest, and the fanlamps sold poorly. As a result, few have survived. The fanlamp is ingeniously designed. When used as a lamp. The shade(which is not included in the auction) will cover the fan and sockets, just as it would a regular lamp. When use of the fan is desired, the shade may be removed, the fan tilted perpendicular to the floor, and, voila! you have a pedestal fan. The lamp features three light bulb sockets- one on each side of the fan motor. And one in an aluminum cone sitting on top ... moreof the fan. and in the middle) of the fan. The fanlamp is all original. And stands 69" tall, is 10 1/2" wide at the top, and the fan blades measure 8 1/2" in diameter. The lamp and fan have separate switches and can be operated independently. The fan has a nice rheostat switch. Which allows you to adjust the fan at the specific speed you want. The fanlamp is in excellent original condition. As mentioned. The shade is not included in the auction, and the round wire hoop that sits on top of the foor protruding wires on the top of the fan is missing(although making a replacement would be quite easy) Apart from that, the fanlamp is in very fine shape.
