I am unfamiliar with wood and do not know if there are any repairs or if wood has been altered in any way. This one has a crack on the seat but still support me. I have not dusted. Cleaned or polished as to not upheave the patina. I will leave that up to the new owner. They are 21" high and the seat is 11.5 x 10. With out packing materials, they are 4lbs 9 ozs. This most unusual European walnut. And hardwood(pine secondary wood) miniature wardrobe with ebonized wood panels dates ca. 1860-1880 and measures only 23 ½” tall x 17” wide x 7 5/8” deep. It features a faded and worn original French Polish surface with some irregular coloration but a nice sheen. All of the wood with the exception of the inside shelves(added early 1900s) appears to be original and there is only the scantest trace of old(inactive) insect damage to the bottom. The tiny, turned bun feet are sturdy and without damage and the locks and latches are right as rain. You will note a very small corner loss in the veneer on the top back corner as per the pictures. Up for Auction Lot of 32 Vintage Antique Wooden Wheel Casters Mixed Sizes(wheels are. 1" 1 1/2" 2" Plus 10 Junk/repair casters Description: This offering is for a very nice mixed lot of wooden furniture wheel casters. All the ones spaced out in the pictures are in good condition and the pile at the bottom of the picture are the junk/repair one. The junk ones have chipped and broken wheels. All the casters at the top have solid wheels from what I could see and all rotate. The steel is old and rusty so I can't tell how well the welds still are but they look very strong and sound. welcome to my auction: cast heavy metal pair of birds for furniture finials.they are base 1 5/8" diameter. Attachment hole is 3/16" diameter, they stand 4 1/4" tall and are 5" long from tips of beaks to tips of tails.hefty weigh.92 lb. each.there are some ding marks on heads.add character and do not know if they are damage or made that way.love the detailed faces and feathers and feet.wonderful pair"to draw to"i would keep them, but my antique dresser has metal finials.they would look great on bed posts or hutch or dresser.or as display sculptures.or staff top.thanks for peeking

Here we have a gorgeous small trunk or chest. Has a beautiful patina! Fine brass inlays on the sides(pic#5) as well around the sides of the top(pic#10) Very fine! I think its probably 50-60 years old or thereabouts. I think its simply stunning. No matter what the age is.Perfect to hold a few things or just to have out in your den or study. Has a large oval brass inlay on the lid top(pic#3) Comes with the original key and one extra. However. I was not able to get it to lock. The hardware/mechanism is functioning but lid opens, regardless which way I turn the key. So do not buy, if you need it to lock!It could just be me? The inside is nice and clean. Handles and both sides for easy carrying. This piece does have a nice weight to it. But easy to move from one place to another.This trunk may have been restored with the newer hardware.
