The pan is quite nice and looks to be a brass wash on it. it is about 15 inches tall by 15 inches wide and near 8 inches at the widest on the base. the pan is about 13 by 8 by 4 inches and this is complete and in working order. as you can see by the pics the small arch glass is missing and that is the only flaw I can see but this can be replaced pretty simply I think and I would even get a price for the buyer if you like. can't be too much. ask if you have any questions and glad to combine goods for shipping. this is a local find here in Ct. scale says" THE STANDARD COMPUTING CO. DETROIT, MICH. SOLD AND GUARANTEED F.T.KNIGHT, INC. 10 BLACKSTONE ST. BOSTON, MASS. 20TH CENTURY" I found much lager scales by this company but no small scales this could be quite a ... morerare size!

UP for your consideration this week is A Beautiful Made in the U.S.A. AAFA Primitive Antique Brown Sewer Tile Stoneware Crock/ Tobacco Jar. Canister, Decanter, Canning which is Stunningly Gorgeous. It measures Approx. 8 inches tall by about 24 inches in circumference and the opening is about 5 inches across. Note: This is a very well made piece. 19th C. Folk Art Sailor made Coconut & Bone Rum Dipper. Rum Ladle w/HEART. AAFA
A mid 19th Century Sailor made Rum Dipper! Considered Folk Art today and highly collectible. Found in Mass. and probably made on a Ship that ported there circa 1850-1870. These were made by Sailor's on Trade and Whaling Vessels during much of their spare time when traveling thousands of miles during Voyages. This example was hand made using a Coconut Hull. Wood& Whale Bone or the I vory. Probably the latter which I spelled incorrectly. The Wood Handle is attached to the Coconut Bowl with a wonderful carved Heart! Also a hole drilled on the opposite end for hanging purposes. Excellent as shown condition and measures 15 1/2" in total length with the Coconut being 4 1/2" in diameter. No damage or repairs, just a superb piece of Nautical Folk Art that I am pleased to offer. I'm using a low starting price with a very reasonable ... morereserve. Good Luck and thanks for your interest!
Antique Folk Art Carved Wood Steamboat with Steam Engine AAFA Porter Toy Boat
Fresh from a collection is this pure folk art steam boat with an apparently functional steam engine. The wooden boat itself is layered in 4 sections and the inside was chipped carved and hollowed out. Brass plate on the bottom of the boat that holds the burner. The steam engine has not been cleaned and we have not tried to fire it. It has the fuel reservoir. Boiler and connecting lines and wires to the mechanical section that drive the propeller. We are guessing this to be anywhere in the 1st half 20th century. The main part of the steam engine lifts out of the boat. Nice display piece if you like steam engines, boats and or folk art! It rests on 2 pieces that are not attached to the boat but they will ship with it. The boat was either a toy or more likely a piece someone built to demonstrate how a steam engine boat worked! These can sell ... morefor hundreds of dollars! Here we go at $9.99 with NO RESERVE. The ship is 19" long and 5 1/2" wide and 3" high on the sides. Payment within 3 days of auction. Will ship by request to any P.O. box at actual USPS costs added to the invoice after the auction. Satisfaction guaranteed. coeitimmy

Original Fancy Primitive Antique Hand Wrought Iron Teapot Warmer Stand AAFA
Original Fancy Primitive Antique Hand Wrought Iron Teapot Warmer Stand AAFA So. I went to the auction of a lifetime this past weekend. A storage barn of an antiques dealer that passed about 10 years ago. She specialized in early primitives and American folk art and boy-oh-boy you do not want to miss this week. I took photos of the items that I bought for one full day, and still am not finished– but decided to go ahead and list what I have– enjoy! This one is absolutely striking. It's an antique. Hand wrought iron teapot warming stand that is fancyprimitivefancy. I do not have the pot that once went with it, but that didn't bother me, because I bet you have one that you can use or find! This is a stand that has two hooks at the top for hanging your pot, and a flower shape at the bottom to put a warmer or candle. It stands 22 1/8' ... moretall to the fancy whimsical center"finial" on top( because it's part of the iron, not attached, like a finial is, but I'm calling it that, because that's what it reminds me of) and 5 5/8" tall at the warmer bowl. It is 9" deep from the back of the piece, to the curved iron foot that comes out at the front. It's 9 1/2" widest at the back, and 8 5/8" wide at the back feet- foot to foot. The hooks are 2 5/8" apart measuring on the outside and 2 1/4" apart measuring on the indside. They are 2" deep on the inside front to back measuring on the inside of the hook- so there's lots of room for a handle. The space from the bottom of the hooks to the warmer is fairly short, so you know- it's 9 1/4" tip to tip, so your pot, with the handle up, could not measure more than that- actually, I'd recomment no more than 9" total. The warmer bowl is 2 1/2" wide- I don't say diameter because with the"petals" on it, it's a little off round. The piece weighs 4 lbs and is in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally. You can see that the patina is very very dark, and it has deep dark sur

Very Old Early Primitive Carved Wood Mortar & Carved Stone Pestle Grinder AAFA
Very Old Early Primitive Carved Wood Mortar& Carved Stone Pestle Grinder AAFA So. You know. I'm starting this one at a higher price than I have some of my other items because I had to pay a much higher price for this one- it is absolutely awesome. It's a very early antique, hand carved wood mortar along with a carved stone pestle. The mortar measures 6 1/2" wide by about 3 1/4" deep(the about being because this is a rustic piece. with edges that are not ... morealways flat or straight) It's bowl measures 2 1/2" diameter by about 2 1/4" deep and it weighs just over 1 1/2 lbs, so it's pretty heavy for its size. It is a solid sturdy piece of hand carved wood that shows looooooots of wear from age and use. There's scratches, scrapes, nicks, dings, what look like cuts, divots, cracks that do not move, small holes, light spots and dark to black spots. One side is rougher than the other side, which is smoother(compare photos 4& 6) If you look inside the bowl, you will see a 1/2" by about 1/8" horizontal hole on one side- It's on the side of the rougher edge about 1/2 way down into the bowl. You have to look really closely to see it from the outside, and I had trouble getting it to show with the light from the inside- so if you look at photo 11 and supersize, you'll see at the top of the center of the bowl what looks like a wear spot, and then a horizontal darker spot and then another wear spot beneath it- that's the hole. I want you to know there's no movement at that spot at all- the wood is solid and hard. The pestle- I have no idea what type of stone it is, but it's black in color, an

Antique 19th Century Soldier Weathervane Old Paint Great Original Folk Art AAFA
Antique 19th Century Soldier Weathervane Old Paint Great Original Folk Art AAFA Description: Please Visit Our Other Listings This Week for a Great Selection of Early Primitives and Antiques- All offered on No Reserve Auctions! Great Late 19th. Early 20th Century Weathervane What a stunning piece of original American Folk Art! Recently purchased at the Brimfield Mass. Antique Show. The dealer who sold it to us reported it came from a New Hampshire estate, and was uncovered in an early carriage barn. As you can see the form of the piece is the silhouette of an early uniformed soldier. Complete with a sword in this hand and a period hat. From the construction, the piece dates to the turn of the century, possibly a little earlier. Considering the form of the solider both the dealers who we acquired it from and ourselves agreed it was probably ... moreon the lodge of an organization like the Son's of the American Revolution. From it's decades exposure to the elements the piece has a wonderful. Dry oxidized surface with remains of grey and black paint contrasted wonderfully with a slightly pitted surface. There is one small hole on the body of the piece, likely from a small bullet shot, though overall the vane is in very good+ condition and structurally sound. The piece measures an impressive 30 1/2" in length. And about 23" wide. As such the piece would make a commanding display as a piece of folk art constrasted in a home against a wall. Take a moment to click on the individual images and you can see further details of the piece and the great period blacksmith made construction. This is another piece that really needs to be seen in person and held to guage the great quality and original condition and surfacing. Just a gem of early folk art offered for only five days on auction and sold without reserve. Thanks for visiting us here at Foxrun-Farms. Now in our 15th year selling on ebay! Please note shipping is Actual Cost- We never charge for supplies or insurance! If shipping cost is less than quoted or charg

BEST Museum Quality 18th Early 19th C Wrought Iron Skewer Holder Set AAFA NR
BEST Museum Quality 18th Early 19th C Wrought Iron Skewer Holder Set AAFA NR Description: Late 18th. Early 19th Century Heart Formed Skewer Set One of the finest examples of a early skewer holder I've ever had the pleasure of offering. Fresh out of a Pennsylvania estate. As one can see the formation of the holder is a large heart shape. Complete with traces of original red paint on one side. Please click on the photographs to see details of the piece. The black smith who made this piece was without questions a talented early artisan who choose to incorporate a popular design element into a functional hearth tool. In addition to the fine overall form. The smith choose to emphasize the design by using 16 punch work hole decorations to form an additional inner heart design. Similar forms can be seen referenced in"Furniture Treasury: ... moreAlso American Hardware and Household Utensils" by Wallace Nutting The piece was found with five skewers. Each with delicately formed in hanging loops with'pig tail' ends. The holder itself measures a large 8 1/4" x 7 3/4" Skewers range is size from 7" to 8" There is some pitting to the piece. As to be expected from age, there is also some hanging wear from the top loop, several skewers have some blunt tips, overall still in very good/very good+ condition for its age. This piece truly needs to be held in ones hand to fully appreciate its beauty. The pictures just don't capture the truly fine quality and size! A truly wonderful piece of early American folk art. An excellent addition to any period iron collection, or accent to any country home. The auction is being run for only 5 days. No reserve. Antique 18th Century Iron Rushlight Rush Holder Early American Lighting NR AAFA
Antique 18th Century Iron Rushlight Rush Holder Early American Lighting NR AAFA Description: Please Visit Our Other Listings For Great Fresh To Market Examples of Antiques And Country Primitives- We Do Combine Shipping- All Auctions Start at only.99 cents and there is No Reserve on any Listing! A Great 18th Century New England Rushlight Antique Rush Holder A great example of a typical rushlight holder dating from the mid 18th century. Circa 1760-1790, most likely New England in original origin, just recently purchased from an Estate Sale here in Upstate NY. Rushlights were used as a source of illumination for early homes by securing a burning rush reed between the jaws of the device. Often times the counterbalance arm of the piece would feature a design of some sort. such as an acorn shape or geometric pattern) this example features a great ... morepairing in the fact the blacksmith who made the piece formed in a candlecup, allowing the piece to burn both wax and tallow candles in addition to rush. An additional design element of this piece of particular note is the subtle'twist' decoration placed in the center shaft. Also of note are the great little rounded feet. From age the metalwork was some(as expected) pitting and minor oxidation. The mechanism to this piece is frozen. Being that from age the jaws of the piece will not open. While it's very possible that by soaking the piece in oil one could free up the mechanism, we chose not to take a chance and bend any of the metal. The piece of course displays fine and one could easily thread a rush reed through the formed jaws for display if needed. Jus as seen in numerous volumes on the topic of period furnishings(see: Wallace Nuttings"Furniture Treasury" Early Lighting" by the Rushlight Club, and"Antique Lighting in the Home Pre-1820" by John Caspall) Stands approximately 12 1/2" tall. Please click the images for enlargements that showcase the original blacksmith construction and condition. Pictures just don't do this one justi
