Lovely & Quite Primitive Tin Cookie Cutter~Duck~AAFA~Americana~Hand Soldered~
This is a VERY PRIMITIVE antique cookie cutter depicting a duck! Please look at all of my pictures carefully as this old item is very SHABBY! It's missing its handle. Has wear, has excess globs of solder, has corrosion, and is just plain OLD! It is small-just the size to fit in a hand-it is really charming though and would be really cute for Springtime primitive décor! It came from a collection of other antique cutters from the early 1900's-just don't really use it for cookies as it is soldered and the solder may contain lead. Antique Spice Apothecary Cabinet Cupboard RARE Tramp Art AAFA
This is a RARE spice or apothecary cabinet because it has handmade decorative'trim' pieces on the front- which is why I called it'tramp art' It has four larger(than a regular spice cabinet) drawers with the ORIGINAL porcelain knobs. Two of the drawers have a wooden separation down the center. It measures 8 inches in width. 6.75 inches in depth and 18 inches in height(to the top of the back) The color is a dark maple color. I think it is a maple wood, in fact the inside of the drawers made me wonder if it was a type of tiger maple, but I didn't see evidence of that on the outside. There is"age" to this piece and that is why the wood has darkened over the years(my guess as to the age is late 1800s) The drawers are nailed together with tiny nails. This piece certainly has a'sense of presence' There is one ... morepiece of the decorative carved'trim' missing on the bottom; however. This does not detract from this piece in any way. I try to describe my items to the best of my ability. All of my items are sold as-is. Please take time to look at all the pictures closely and ask any questions you might have. Also note my PayPal payment preference and the 24-hour turn-around if payment is received promptly. Thank you. 19th C. Whitesmith made forged Iron ladle. Early decorated Iron Dipper. AAFA
From the Shop of a talented Whitesmith comes this finely hand forged heavy Iron Hearth Cooking Ladle. It is circa mid 19th Century in a file decorated form with no damage or repairs. Whitesmiths were more refined then you average Blacksmith and made elaborate decorated Items such as Hearth Cooking Utinsels etc. They also used a hotter heat soarse and worked the Iron longer which causes the Iron to have a steel or white appearence. Thus the term Whitesmith. This great Dipper is 14" long and 3 3/4" in diameter across the bowl of the ladle. I like where the handle begins with flat stock. Changes to round stock and back to flat again! This truly is a wonderful iron Ladle and offered with a low starting price and no reserve. Good Luck to all Bidders!

AAFA EARLY 19TH C. AMERICAN CANDLE/STORAGE BOX IN ORIGINAL GRAIN PAINT
Offered here. Ca. 1840s +, a very nice candle box or storage box, in excellent condition and bearing its original hand done grain paint. In the photos I tried to show the small hand cut nails, the joints, the champher on the lid, and the general soundness of the box. The interior is clean and shows only in one corner a small area of light discoloration from a water stain. Over all though the pine in this box is so nice it is hard to see why anyone would have painted it. Paint it they did, in what looks to me the manner of a fine furniture maker-an underlying rouge gesso seal with deliberate grain painting on top. I think the texture was created by using a feather, not a brush. In any case a great deal of the original finish remains. This box measures 11 1/4" wide, 15" long and 8" high. The lid fits perfectly and slides easily. ... moreThanks for looking into my auctions.

Antique chocolate mold laughing Easter Bunny, Antiques,AAFA
This is for an antique metal chocolate mold of a laughing Easter Bunny. Very interesting mold with the bunny's front paws resting on it's full tummy and a laughing expression on it's happy face!A very unique old mold. It came from a very long established candy making shop near me. The tinned surface on the outside is now giving way to some light surface rust or abrasion from usage. The interior looks to be relatively clean with a few very small spots of rust or old chocolate? I don't see any makers mark on this wonderful mold. Standing. It measures 6" to the tip of the bunny's ears, 5" to the top of it's head. PayPal is my preferred method of payment. But other ways work too, but let me know before. Antique 48 star Flag with ORIGINAL WOODEN Decorative Stick AAFA
This is an antique flag. Found in Maine, that has 48 stars and its original wooden stick/pole/handle. There is also a decorative piece at the top of the stick/pole/handle. It measures: 21.5 inches in length(the stick/pole) the flag itself measures 22 inches by 13.75 inches. The blue background for the stars has faded and is now more of a union gray color. The red stripes are still very vibrant and the white is a tiny bit more cream than white. This would make a great decorative piece or it could be framed. I think the carved wooden top of the stick/pole is part of the best parts! On the lower right-hand corner of this flag there is a tiny. Tiny hole- it looks like a burn hole- which could have come from fireworks or something. The size of the tiny hole is the size of a head of a pin. Antique 19th Century Federal Rope Twist Mirror Frame Rare Classical Empire AAFA
Hi. I'm offering this rare Federal mirror, possibly made in Boston. The mirror dates from the early 19th century, circa 1800-1825. The design is bold and unusual with 4 girandole-type balls. One in each corner. The mirror has a hefty rope twist placed in a deep cove with 4 small acanthus leaves in each corner. The condition of the gilding is very pleasing. The original surface is evenly worn yet the mirror retains its splendor. Much of the burnished water gilding is still present. The mirror glass is a later 19th century replacement. There is some silver loss at the bottom of the plate. The back board appears to be original. The mirror measures 24 3/4" X16 3/4" X 2 1/4" This is rare mirror that would be an invaluable addition to any classical or Federal mirror collection. Thank you for looking. Please contact me if you ... morehave any questions. Posted with

VERY RARE 18TH C CHAIR EARLY WROUGHT IRON EXTENDABLE CANDLE HOLDER FOLK ART AAFA
an extraordinary and extremely rare 18th century early wrought iron original chair mounted extendable and adjustable candle holder. this exceptional example of primitive early lighting would of been mounted on a ladder or slat back type of chair that had a round post back side and would of been accessed for reading or similar tasks where extra light was needed. superbly early master blacksmithed. It has unique serpentine form and rams head finial screw bolt. when fully extended it measures 21' in total length. its in all original age appropriate untouched condition with a right as rain deep early iron surface. now for a more detailed thorough condition description, keep in mind that this is nearly 300 years old and when extended, does have a normal degree of what I will call slag or droop. ive extensively collected many adjustables and ... moreextendables over the years and all delecate extendables of such length, and I do repeat all, have this in certain positional angles. it is unavoidable and comes with the'adjustable/ extendable' territory. however on the the good side is this can always be remedied by repeening if desired. also the middle of the screw bolt on this is what you would can stripped or semi stripped and can slide a bit loose primarily in that middle position, which again could be remedied with a retap if desired, however in some other turning positions it gets tight. I mention these things for complete accuracy and do not consider them out of the ordinary and certainly do fall in the realm of age appropriate'normal expectations' for such a piece. that said, you have an exceptional pristine survivor here of museum quality and worthy of the finest collections. I wish I could start it at 9.99 but its from my long time collection and I just cant take the risk, however it will still be listed for well below my original acquisition investment. oh and the old candle nub comes with it.
