Exquisitely painted. Varnished, and signed by the artist in 1955. Large Tole serving tray with a floral pattern/motif signed by C. Shannon. In excellent condition, especially considering its age. I have seen many of these trays, and this one absolutely stands out due to the detail and color used by the artist. The little blue flowers are my personal favorites. It is truly unusual. Vintage metal tole tray. Hand painted toleware. Black tray with a floral pattern and goldtone trim. Measures approximately 17" by 13 1/2" It is in well preserved condition with still bright popping colors. There is a small dent in the middle and a spot where the paint chipped away on the dent(top part of large pink flower in the middle) signs of wear from age and use, but still a beautiful tray! COUNTRY CHARM FOLK ART FABULOUS GREEN TOLEWARE BOX A wonderful green toleware box with lid. The body of the piece is a dark green with one single rose on each side. The rose is in a burgundy, gold leafs around the rose. Each corner has a small piece of scrollwork. There is a burgundy band on the lid with some faint scrolls in gold. The top of the lid is a lighter green than the body with a very charming Scandinavian floral pattern. Has some age appropriate wear but overall condition for a piece of vintage toleware is exceptionally good. The box measures 5" tall and 3.5" on each side. 13.5" circumference. Vintage signed Mary Ryan toleware painted small oval metal basket; floral motif
This is a once- treasured vintage. Signed"Mary Ryan" small oval metal tole painted basket with two flowers- yellow/gold and pink/rose- and leaves in the front. The colors change in tone with the light. The first picture is most true to color, although it is a bit faded by bright light. The basket is 7-inches long by 4 3/4-inches high, by 4 1/4-inches deep in the middle. It has gold gilt trim on the top and bottom edges, and a gold stamp on the bottom. The stamp is worn, but"Mary Ryan" can be read. The four rounded protruding"feet" on the bottom have wear to the paint. There is a 2 3/4-inch long scratch line on the lower back, some small areas of black paint penetration,some loss of color on the gold gilt trim, especially on the bottom rim, some wear on the bottom inside and a 1/2-inch long scratch along the edge ... moreof one petal on the rose. To me, the basket has charm. Please look at the photos to judge for yourself its condition.

Nice estate sale find. This large toleware serving tray is in very good condition. Black background with a colorful floral motif in lilacs and mauves with green foliage and gold corner graphics. Measures a generous 16" x 12" with a raised 1 3/4" rim. Cut out handles and punched round hole design on the long sides. Minimal paint loss on the top side- there is one corner with a small amount of rust(see 6th picture) The bottom side has normal counter wear for this type of serving piece. OVAL FLORAL AND FRUIT DECORATED TOLEWARE TRAY
Oval toleware tray painted with parrot tulips. Strawberry flowers and strawberries and perhaps currants. The tray measures about 15 5/8" across. The back is black and shows wear along the resting edge. There are a few spots with missing paint, specifically on a couple of the tulips and one of the strawberries. It needs a cleaning. The tray measures approximately 24" long and 18" wide. There is an early heart open handle on each side and it has beautiful shaded red. Blue, white and yellow flowers with shaded green leaves. The rolled edge has a red stripe, typical of early painting. The wood tray stand is black with double gold rings around the top and bottom legs. It measures 18" tall and 16" across. There are 4 black rubber suction cups on the top legs. One is broken in half and the others have splits in them. These can be replaced with new ones from a hardware store.
