Oval Toleware Metal Tray 1940s Era- Vintage Black Ground with Burnished Gold Edging and Design Detail- Highlighted with Burnished Teal Berries. Great item to add to collection of vintage toleware/trays. 16.5" x 13.5" x.5" Age unknown. Appears to be of 1940s era. THE FINE PRINT: I make every effort to describe condition of item. This is a vintage piece and in condition to be expected for its age and usage. Paint flecked in numerous spots. Two separate dents along edge. Two punctures on rim. Vintage metal tole tray. Hand painted toleware. Black tray with a floral pattern and goldtone trim. Measures approximately 17" by 13 1/2" It is in well preserved condition with still bright popping colors. There is a small dent in the middle and a spot where the paint chipped away on the dent(top part of large pink flower in the middle) signs of wear from age and use, but still a beautiful tray! No rust. Back side of tray has scratches. Pretty tray with keyhole handles. All of my items come from a very non smoking home. Antique Black and Gold Toleware Spice Box and 6 Tins w/ Brass Handle NEAT!
You are viewing an antique Toleware Spice Box tin with 6 canisters. It is from the early to mid 19th century. It measures approximately 9.5 inches long. 6.25 inches deep, and 3.25 inches tall. The canisters measure approximately 3 inches tall each. The outside of the tin has gold colored design done over a black finish, while the inside is copper in color. The hasp and hinges all work properly. The canisters had the name of the spice stenciled on the tops of them. The Nutmeg is still visible as well as most of the Mace. The remainder of the spices were Ginger, Cloves, Allspice, and Cinnamon. The rings for two of the lids are missing(as pictured) and there is some paint loss. Overall this great piece is in very good condition for its age and will make a fantastic addition to your collection. Measuring 9 1/2 inches by 6 inches by 8 inches tall at the tallest point. This novel, wooden"barrel box" is covered with a beige and black cotton fabric. The design depicts women and men harvesting crops. Interiors and the footed bottom of this chest are painted black. The lid opens to reveal a compartment measuring 8 5/8 inches wide by 4 3/4 inches deep. By 5 1/4 inches tall. It has a metal latch on a hinge to secure it. There is a metal ring handle on each side of this box. New. This barrel box is in excellent condition.

This charming set of three chests are different sizes. Allowing them to nest inside each other. They are wooden and covered with a beige and black, cotton, fabric on the outside. On the inside, and underside, they are covered with plain, beige fabric. The fabric depicts country scenes with people fishing and harvesting crops. The largest chest measures 14 3/8 inches wide by 10 inches deep. By 9 5/8 inches tall, at the tallest point. The medium sized chest measures 13 inces by 8 1/2 inches, by 8 1/2 inches tall. The smallest chest measures 11 1/2 inches by 7 inches, by 6 1/2 inches tall. Each chest has a metal. Hinged latch to hold it shut. Beige, satin, ribbons hold the lids to the bottom of each chest.

From a cousin’s estate we have a large black metal tray. Hand painted toleware– most likely from the 1950’s. The front has beautiful roses in yellow. Orange, pink and light pink with gold trim around the edge. It is octagonal oblong shaped with a fancy lattice work around the edge and handles. The back has a tag that says Fine Arts Studio Hand-Painted Phila 47 PA. I'm not sure when that dates it. But I think that is the 50’s. That's when this type of stuff was more popular. Some of the paint has flaked off on the flowers in the middle. It still a pretty nice piece of nostalgia! Great for your collection! Measures a generous 16" x 12" with a raised 1 3/4" rim. Cut out handles and punched round hole design on the long sides. Minimal paint loss on the top side- there is one corner with a small amount of rust(see 6th picture) The bottom side has normal counter wear for this type of serving piece. Antique Vintage Toleware Black Hand Painted Watering Can Signed 9.5" Tall
Up for sale is an Antique Black and Hand Painted Toleware Watering Can. The blue flowers and green leaves in the center are hand painted and there is a signature to the bottom of the design. The watering can is in fair to good condition with some medium to large paint loss and wear. Some slight rust to the bottom of the screw under the base and the base is also loose. There is some blue paint transfer from rubbing of another object along the one side. It is approx. 9.5 in tall by 16 in wide with the spout included in the measurements.
