Front floral paint design is looks very good. On the side near bottom there is a slight rough area about the size of the palm of a hand on the metal surface and small amount of paint wear in this area and near the very bottom rim(see photo) bottom looks ok to me, minimal wear, upper top rim shows a couple of areas of small indent areas where metal is slightly turned in- not serious in my opinion but needed to mention will be sold as is. Vintage Italian Tole Candelabras Candle Holders You will receive a pair(2 candelabras) of old tole candelabras. Flowers and leaves accent each piece. There are some scuffs and spots of discoloration. All due to age and use. They may have been painted at some point. But I am not sure of that. Five candle cups on each. No Italy tag present. But they are Italian. Approx. measurements: 14" high 11.5" wide Nice tole pieces. I have done a light cleaning. They could use a more detailed cleaning. Selling as found- as is. ADORABLE ENAMEWARE OLD FRENCH Shabby Chic enamel DOG FEEDING DISH~RARE~
I am fascinated with the old design of this adorable puppy food and water dish that somehow went out of fashion along the way. To me it's a marvel of practicality. The dish is generous in size measuring 14 inches long by 10 inches wide and has an ergonomically designed handle with a soft fatness where you'd carry it that makes it balanced and comfortable. On either side are places for food and water in equal size. Outside the blue and white enameled design was done by"pochoire" or stencil. It depicts a happy dog running after a group of 3 children with a balloon in 4 repeated motifs. There are some stains to the enamel in the base where you'd place the food or water and there is missing enamel along the rim which is very smooth and a missing strip 2 inch by 1/2 inch along the bottom edge that isn't visible when it's ... moreset down. All of this is visable in my photos. The piece is very well made with a durable quality of graniteware and is consirably heavy.therefore stable. It is strong and has no cracks or rusty leaks. This beautiful figurine is not cheaply made. The detail on this is amazing.The gold outlining is beautiful. At the feet of the Gentleman is a Staffordshire Terrier dog. I really don't want to part with these items but I am down sizing from a 22 room Victorian to a Victorian Farm House. This item was my Grandmothers. I hope it goes to a good home.
