Nice lot of four vintage dating from the 40's Italian Florentine Wood Gesso Boxes in various sizes and shapes and one entirely hand painted pottery box from the 50's. Three of the Florentine boxes are the typical kind with gold gilt and paint and the fourth one is off white with painted vine leaves all around. The smallest of these is 3" square and the largest is 6" X 4" All are in good vintage condition with very mild gold loss. The pottery box that dates from the fifties is all hand painted with a nice Italian landscape on the top of the lid. The same lid has a floral design on the inside also. The box is numbered and signed on the bottom and it is also marked"Italy" It measures 3 1/2" long X 3" wide X 1 1/2" high. I have never seen a wood stand like this as they are usually metal. Each foot is brass tipped. And all of the suction cups where the tray sits are still there although I don’t know how much suction they would still have in them. The stand is in very good condition. It looks as though there has been a repair to one leg when it joins on the bottom, but the repair was good and the stand is sturdy. The stand folds flat for storage, but when fully open, the stand is 18 ½” across and 17 ½” tall. The floral and fruit painting on the tray is beautiful and vibrant with still rich colors. There is a brown fleur de lis border painted around the floral. There is wear to the black around the ... moreedges. But none to the painting. The tray measures 25 by 19 ½” I ship most of my items. Offered are two vintage hand painted wooden toleware pieces. The large green tray is a solid walnut piece by Kustom Kraft. Kustom Kraft wood pieces were from the mid century and were plain wood. UNIQUE HAND PAINTED FOLK ART BATEA VINTAGE WOOD TOLE TRAY BOWL. Primitive LOVELY
This cool Batea/ Tole Tray was purchased in 1985 at an estate sale. It is in just about the same condition it was purchased in. The paint is chipping. The wood is cracked in 2 places but it is so beautiful. I am selling it because I don't have a place to display it while I am remodeling my home and by the time I am finished I won't have a proper place for it to be admired and enjoyed. I am not really sure whether it is from Mexico or not but I am pretty confident it is. The couple's estate was full of treasures from their world travels and this bowl was really special to them. I didn't know them but I am sure they would be happy knowing that someone else will love and enjoy this piece. It is large and lovely, very cool and would make a neat addition to a primitive decor or really any decor for that matter.

This is very heavy pantry box with the top made of wood and the bottom looks to be a pressed wood. The sides are laminate that have been bent to the circular shape. The top and sides of the top are nicely painted with a tole design of flowers. Apples& hearts. It is not signed.
