FRENCH CHIC TOLE TRASH CAN WASTE BASKET ROSES SHABBY RARE RED VINTAGE TOLEWARE Pretty tolware waste basket done in a harder to find red/burgundy tone. Waste basket stands 12 1/2 inches tall. Front floral paint design is looks very good. On the side near bottom there is a slight rough area about the size of the palm of a hand on the metal surface and small amount of paint wear in this area and near the very bottom rim(see photo) bottom looks ok to me, minimal wear, upper top rim shows a couple of areas of small indent areas where metal is slightly turned in- not serious in my opinion but needed to mention will be sold as is. Vintage Shabby Chic Cottage Yellow wood TOLE TOLEWARE TRAY Description& Details This is a shabby chic wood toleware tray measuring approximately 23 1/2" long and 16 1/4" wide. The floor of the tray is distressed light yellow with bright yellow checked squares. The turned up edge is also bright yellow with cut out handles. It has a shaded red rose in the center with a yellow rose on each side. There is also a red ribbon. Shaded green leaves and a light blue butterfly. The edge of the bottom is gold striped. There is a small hairline split, don`t know if it`s the wood or the paint and the seam where the gold stripe is has separated a bit. Nothing drastic but thought I mention that for accuracy. The metal flowers have just the right amount of patinated age(see pics) Lamp was disassembled. Cleaned and rewired with all new polarized plug cord, new three way socket with original harp& finial. Bright and colorful spring flowers/floral bouquet with gold gilt ribbon. Flowers are yellow and white. Light bluish flowers with yellow& lavendar center, and blue bells? dark and light blue and a bunch of yellow and white ones, etc. Leaves are dark green and light green. This item is an estate find and as such my description is only my opinion. So check out the photos for your best description. This unique objet d'art has an arena of possibilities! It is a wide basket weave shelf with a pink tones floral toleware motif above a rod from which extend 5 hooks. The hooks could be used for tea towels. Cups, kitchen utensils… The shelf is beautiful as is, or may be put to use-maybe with tea tins, or other such kitchen collectibles. Measures ~ 21 inches wide, a bit over 12.5 inches height and 5.5 inches depth. Measurements are close but approximate. It has some added newer white paint dabs on the creamy natural base.
