Antique Decorated Toleware Kreamer Canister Tin(NR) You are bidding on an antique toleware round canister tin. 10 1/4 inch diameter by 6 1/4 inches tall. The Kreamer name, of A. Kreamer Manufacturing, is embossed on the bottom. This tin was painted in the 1950's by an artisan on Cape Ann. MA. She used antique trays, boxes, pitchers, scoops, etc. for the base of her art. In the Cape Ann area there was no shortage of good antique metalware to use. The clear lacquer. And some of the paint, has reticulated in some areas. There is one very shallow dent in the design close to the right edge of the straight on photo. Barely noticeable even when handling the piece. See the detail photos for the noted defects. Antique Tin Document Box with Tole Paint Toleware Decoration Wire Handle
This is an Antique Tin Document Box with Tole Paint Toleware Decoration. The box has a Wire Handle on the top. The hinged lid tin box has the black oxidation to the tin base and interior which signifies an antique piece of tin ware. The tole paint toleware decoration is later to the box and possibly dates to about the 1950-60's when tole ware painting was very popular as a craft. Someone did an outstanding job painting this box with delft brush strokes and excellent grasp of how to use the tole painting brushes. The skilled painting was done by someone who knew what they were doing. Also the artist used antique tole ware designs and patterns to decorate the box. The box was not varnished either so it has that matte look to resemble the 19th century tin tole painting. The tin box also displays beautifully. It measures 8" wide. 4" ... moredeep and 5" tall. Lovely antique toleware coffee tin canister/bin featuring a wonderful transfer and painted family coat/crest of arms. In remarkable condition for age.light paint loss. Extremely minor denting, some age discoloration/oxidation in metal on the inside of can. Please note.some of the dark area inside the can appears to be very old coffee which over time has broken down and solidified. It is painted black, with an alligator finish. Some of the base metal and rust run through the finish. There is a hasp on the side to secure the box when closed, and a bail handle on top. Antique Primitive Tin Toleware Box: Hand Painted, Black, Gold, Early 1900s
This little tin box is about recipe box size at 5-3/4" X 3-1/2" X 3-1/2" deep. It was acquired at an estate sale where all of the items being sold were from the late 1800s and early 1900s. It is hand painted and I believe the tole design is actually stenciled on with gold paint with red shading. The top. As shown in the photo, is a cluster of three cherries; the front and back panels have a swag with a little red flower in the middle; and the end panels have a daisy-like flower. The black paint job is not first rate: there are a few areas where the original drips and brush strokes can be seen and it has now become crazed. This is part of what makes this piece so very charming. The stenciling is mostly intact except for an area of paint loss on the largest cherry. Overall I would consider the box to be in nice condition given ... moreits probable 100+ year age. There are a number of small dents and dings. Nothing of real significance. The lid fits on and off as it should with a small amount of effort. There are a few small areas of paint loss, primarily around the edge where the lid has rubbed; there is one small"blob" of white paint right beneath where the top of the lid ends; and there is some surface rust on the interior including one pin-hole size area where light shows through. This is an estate piece being sold as is. As found. I cannot guarantee that it has not been exposed to odors: smoking, fragrance, cooking, mustiness, mothballs, other storage odors or pets. It's condition is. there is a lot of chippy paint and a few areas that still chip. The inside has what appears to be a water stain going around the bucket. Antique Pensylvania Dutch Hand Painted Toleware Tin Creamer
This looks like a small coffeepot. But is believed to have been used in the early 1800s as possibly a creamer. It is black with a hand painted Pennsylvania Dutch flower design on both sides. Its handle has a triangle shaped place where it was added to the top of the container. It is 5" tall and 6" wide with handle. Inside width of container is 2 7/8" The hand painted design is in good shape. There are some nicks at the base and at the top. This was found in my parents' estate so no history is known.

This Lovely Vintage Black Tole Lamp- punctuated with Golden feature accents- is another beautiful Estate find in great condition. It stands about 20” Tall– measured to the top of its Tole shade as pictured. The Black/Gold Shade has a Bottom Surface Diameter of about 10 ½” and it is about 6” High. The Base Diameter of the Lamp is about 5” As you can see from the pictures. It is in fine working condition. The wiring seems to be good. The Tole Shade sits upon a White Milk Glass Globe. There are two little“screws” that you can loosen to remove it for cleaning or shipping. The White Milk Glass Globe is also in fine condition as is the cream colored interior of the tole shade. I think it is probably a 3-Way Lamp although I only have a regular bulb in it so I cannot say for sure since I don’t have a 3-Way Bulb to try it with. However, when I turn it on, nothing happens on the first turn– the light goes on with the 2 nd turn– there is also a 3 rd turn but nothing happens with the regular bulb that is currently in it. It will NOT be shipped with the bulb. The bulb pictured is only for an example to show that it works

Really lovely ruby red toleware match keep or splint holder. Possibly Connecticut tinware. It has hand painted floral decoration on one side with a dark red tulip like flower and green stem flowing up one side. It also has complimentary decoration circling at the top rim and bottom and a loop handle with a hole for hanging. It may have had a lid at one time. Really nice piece with some dents and paint loss. But wear appropriate with age and use. Measures about 10" high x 2" wide.

Tin Toleware Tole Spice Box 7 Tins Antique Round
This is a wonderful primitive round spice box. There are the usual nicks and dents but the color is great! and the hardware is in great shape. This is a nice vintage piece. There are 7 spice containers. See the pictures of the top and bottom. I can only read one which says"Ginger" Size: across the bottom measures 8" and it is about 3 1/2" tall. This is a lovely coffee pot. It has a lot of warmth and character. It is in pretty good shape for its old age. It does have some dents and dings and some small patches of rust here and there. This is 10" tall to the top of the handle. The bottom has a 8.5" diameter. We offer fast shipping time and we do add $2 to that for insurance that is shown as a handling fee.
