Both are very clearly hallmarked for Sheffield 1945 with the maker’s mark of Henry Wilkinson. They are presented in an exquisite tubular case with brown leatherette covering, purple silk lining to the lid and purple velvet to the base. The retailer’s stamp is in the lid for Thomas Kirk& Co. of Hull. The rings are in excellent condition with no dents. Dints or deep scratches that I can find. Each measures Approx. 9" in length. 6 1/2" wide and just over 4" deep. Great details in the carvings and the gold overlay glaze is in nice condition. They are heavy and sturdy. Very solid. The back is marked Syroco Wood and also has 2 places in each side on back for easy hanging on wall. The top of shelf is solid to hold your favorite item! Excellent Condition with no chips. From a Main Line Philadelphia estate is offered a nice vintage pair of petite wall shelves or brackets. Made of wood and gilded with gold. There is a left and a right. So a true pair. The most forward surfaces have bight gold gilding that looks to be water gilding. The rest is simply gold paint as are the tops. These are very ornate or rococo in style. Lots of curls and flourishes. A piece is missing from one. And there is paint or gilding loss to both. These are delicate light weight wood and usually show some breaks and crack with age. They are 6" wide at the back and 3" deep int he center. 5 3/4" long small hanging hook on the backs. They were hanging with small topiaries in ceramic jars on them when purchases at the estate sale. Greenery with blue and yellow flowers. Such statement lamps! In excellent condition for their age, there are a couple of areas where paint is scratched off and have some use marks, just adds to the charm of these quaint chic& shabby lamps. Both work beautifully. They stand 31" high to tops of finials x 7 7/8" wide at base x 13" wide at widest part of floral area. Each lamp weighs 6 lbs. These will be proffessionally packaged. Therefore there is a $20.00 charge in the shipping calculator. My shipper uses UPS ground. Please be advised that I have a dark shadow on my camera which is not on the item.
