Exquisitely painted. Varnished, and signed by the artist in 1955. Large Tole serving tray with a floral pattern/motif signed by C. Shannon. In excellent condition, especially considering its age. I have seen many of these trays, and this one absolutely stands out due to the detail and color used by the artist. The little blue flowers are my personal favorites. It is truly unusual. Vintage metal tole tray. Hand painted toleware. Black tray with a floral pattern and goldtone trim. Measures approximately 17" by 13 1/2" It is in well preserved condition with still bright popping colors. There is a small dent in the middle and a spot where the paint chipped away on the dent(top part of large pink flower in the middle) signs of wear from age and use, but still a beautiful tray! No rust. Back side of tray has scratches. Pretty tray with keyhole handles. All of my items come from a very non smoking home. This is a large retangular tray from the 1940's-1950's It has some wear and small scratches and small areas of missing paint. From a cousin’s estate we have a large black metal tray. Hand painted toleware– most likely from the 1950’s. The front has beautiful roses in yellow. Orange, pink and light pink with gold trim around the edge. It is octagonal oblong shaped with a fancy lattice work around the edge and handles. The back has a tag that says Fine Arts Studio Hand-Painted Phila 47 PA. I'm not sure when that dates it. But I think that is the 50’s. That's when this type of stuff was more popular. Some of the paint has flaked off on the flowers in the middle. It still a pretty nice piece of nostalgia! Great for your collection! Here is a vintage metal tray by NASHCO PRODUCTS New York. This tray measures 18 1/2 X 10 1/2 inches. It is a solid metal tray with a lip on the edges of about 1/2 inch in depth. This is in very good condition with minor scratches to the paint. The most noticable are on the grapes. The bottom has a few tiny spots of paint chipped off. There are no dents or dings but some slight wear on the edges. The bottom is black and the top is green painted fruit on cream. This has been on display for the last many years.

Antique Vtg Metal Tole Tray Hand-Painted and Signed by the Artist(Kloth) Turquoise Blue with a Large Pink Rose as the Focal Point of a Larger Floral Bouquet. Good vintage condition with no dents or dings. Minimal paint loss. Particularly to the leaves of the floral bouquet. Some light rust formation near the bottom of the tray where you can see a spattering of dot-size paint flakings. Scratches along the edges, most prominent in 3 of the 4 corners(see photos) Back side is solid black with a bit of wear/scratches. No notable rust. 14" X 17" A Shabby Lovely.
