The lamp has metal flowers and leaves in various soft pastel colors. Below the flowers is a marble and gold painted wood base. The marble is very nice and has a translucent quality to it. It has an embossed"MADE IN ITALY" attached metal tag. This is an authentic piece of vintage Italian tole. Not a modern reproduction. The lamp measures approx. 22 1/2" tall from the base to the top of the socket. With the shade it is 33 inches tall. This is from an estate sale in Boone. Iowa and it is in great condition for its age of over 50yrs. The only signs of age I could find is that there is a very shallow chip to gold paint on the wooden base, which could be easily repaired with a little acrylic paint. Description THINK SPRING! This is a lovely vintage ITALIAN TOLEWARE FLORAL BOUQUET TABLE LAMP with matching FINIAL. Slender lamp measures 36 inches tall to the top of the finial including the harp. No shade included. Beautiful spring bouquet of flowers with a matching floral finial in soft shades of pink. Lavendar, yellow, blue, and white. The flowers are metal and the base is ceramic or pottery. The toleware spray of flowers and finial look complete and in good vintage condition with slight wear and chipping of the enamel flowers. Gold metal TAG attached marked MADE IN ITALY. Could use a little cleaning. The lamp is in working condition but as with all vintage electrical items it should be checked out before using. VTG Floral Metal Tole Toleware Flower Shelf Chic Shabby Green Pink w/5 Hooks
This item is an estate find and as such my description is only my opinion. So check out the photos for your best description. This unique objet d'art has an arena of possibilities! It is a wide basket weave shelf with a pink tones floral toleware motif above a rod from which extend 5 hooks. The hooks could be used for tea towels. Cups, kitchen utensils, ornaments… The shelf is beautiful as is, or may be put to use-maybe with tea tins, or other such kitchen collectibles. Measures ~ 21 inches wide, a bit over 12.5 inches height and 5.5 inches depth. Measurements are close but approximate. It has some added newer white paint dabs on the creamy natural base. I would not be put off by that though, as it's part of the shabby effect.
