DIMENSIONS The salt shaker with its top stands 3 inches tall and is approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter at its widest point. An Italian Florentine trash or waste basket. My guess is that it dates from the 1950's to 1960's era. It stands 10 1/2" high and is about 10" across at the top. It has ornate gold decoration with a green background. Condition is good. But it definitely has been used. The inside is quite dirty and stained. It has some green streaks and stains which was probably original to the piece when it was made. The exterior is in nice shape, but does have some spoting and scratching. On the bottom is a paper label which reads"Florentia/ A decorative craft/ hand made in Italy" There is also an embossed stamp"Made in Italy" A nice decorative waste basket! Beautiful pair of Toleware Wood Bookends with gilt on the interior and metal hinged underplates. These are from Italy. And possibly Fratelli Alinari. They feature 2 Greek Men. 1 playing a Lyre and the other playing a double flute, or Diaulos. They measure 6 3/4" tall, and 5 1/4" wide, with a 4" underplate. They are in very good vintage condition, with minor wear from age and gentle use. Please see the photos for the minor paint loss as shown. Great collectibles!
