This is a large Tole tray that measures 24" by 18" and is in very good condition. The front side features a flower motif on a green background. The back is solid green and has a label for Art Craft products. This tray is in very good condition. There is some paint missing around the edges And some missing where the sides meet the pan. There is also some extra( paint that has been spattered or spilled or Painted on it. I can't tell if it was an accident or an on purpose because of the way the trail of paint misses the flowers. Small Primitive Vintage Hand Painted Toleware Tin Box Hinged Lid Spice Box or? I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and shop with another ebayer seller from out of town recently- a real catfish moment. Because we’ve talked for years, but never met! No surprises, just all fun and did we shop until we dropped! I have lots of very cool items for you that I will be listing all week. Enjoy! This old box is somewhat of a mystery to me. It's made from a metal that a magnet stick to- and it's light and definitely has the feel and weigh of tin. But if you look closely at the inside, it has a patination that looks very much like the pattern on galvanized steel(but this doesn't have the weight of steel) Look at my inside photos and see what you think- it's a first for me. The other thing that would support whether it's galvanized ... moreis that, although the metal shows darkness form age, it does not have rust- there's rust colored spots, but I do think that is from the paint. Whatever it's made of, it's held up very very well.this one is a charmer. Measuring 3" square and 2 1/2" tall, it is the size of the spice boxes that I have seen, but there's no name etc. on it. It weighs a smidge under 1/4 lb. It has a lovely hand painted finish- the background of the body is gold, and the top and bottom are black, and they are accented with flowers on all 4 sides in shades of rust, green, burgundy and grey. The top of the lid, and the sides of the lid have thin line hand painted borders too. The hinged lid works perfectly, and the lid fits well, and stays securely in place. It really is in excellent solid and sturdy condition overall- I can't find a ding. There is wear to the finish all over in small scratches and scrapes- it's easier to see at the solid black on top. There's also some palpable small white spots on all 4 sides- see photo 4 for a good example- those aren't paint chips, those are something on TOP of the paint- it feels like paper to me- as if this was wrapped i

Unusual. Miniature Toleware hand painted tin tray. This tray has some age and a little paint wear on some of the cherries. There is also some over rub marks as you can see in the photos. The tray measures 12" long by 8 1/4" wide and has a gold trim border and lovely painted fern-like leaves. A nice antique piece of Pennsylvania Dutch history!

This Lovely Vintage Black Tole Lamp- punctuated with Golden feature accents- is another beautiful Estate find in great condition. It stands about 20” Tall– measured to the top of its Tole shade as pictured. The Black/Gold Shade has a Bottom Surface Diameter of about 10 ½” and it is about 6” High. The Base Diameter of the Lamp is about 5” As you can see from the pictures. It is in fine working condition. The wiring seems to be good. The Tole Shade sits upon a White Milk Glass Globe. There are two little“screws” that you can loosen to remove it for cleaning or shipping. The White Milk Glass Globe is also in fine condition as is the cream colored interior of the tole shade. I think it is probably a 3-Way Lamp although I only have a regular bulb in it so I cannot say for sure since I don’t have a 3-Way Bulb to try it with. However, when I turn it on, nothing happens on the first turn– the light goes on with the 2 nd turn– there is also a 3 rd turn but nothing happens with the regular bulb that is currently in it. It will NOT be shipped with the bulb. The bulb pictured is only for an example to show that it works

Vintage Tin Handpainted Toleware Tray - Signed Fred Austin
Vintage Tin Handpainted Toleware Black Tray. Signed Fred Austin who painted trays for Nashco Product New York. This tray has an open work rim with a delicate pattern of tiny holes called lacy or lacework in gold. The trays were usually blank and the decorating was known as flowering. Individuals or companys who hired painters produced works of art known as toleware which means painting on metal. Very large trays such as this were called butlers. Tray measures 18" in diameter& 1 1/3" high. Condition is excellent for its age- some paint loss and scratches on the rear and a few rough spots on the front. Floral artwork is bright& beautiful- brush strokes paint application clearly vivid& visable. Fred Austin work has become sought after& collectible.

Vintage Hand Painted toleware bread tray tin ND1728
Unusual tole painted tin tray or bread basket measures 11" x 6 3/4" and is 2" deep at the center point. The design is done in dark green. Mustard and two shades of a russet pumpkin color. The finish is rough and aged but there is no paint loss and no dents in the tin. Tole painting became popular again in the mid 20th century and we believe this to be an example from that time period. This is for a vintage octagonal shaped tin tole ware tray that is decorated with mostly gold fruits and flowers. With a little red and green on a black background. The tray is 18 1/4 inches long and 13 1/2 inches wide. It is in very good condition, there is scratching to the back side, due to use, there is no rust and the front may have a small thin scratch or two and slight chips of paint missing here and there, as is common with these items.
