New York hand painted small scalloped Tin Tole Tray featuring hand painted fruits in the center depicting a plump orange, seed dimpled strawberries, and highlighted grape clusters. PLEASE NOTE this piece is NOT marked but is identical and came from same NJ estate as the fruit tray that sold last week. They were probably once a pair. Nashco Products made a line of colonial revival hand painted tin serving trays in the period 1920-1950 post war years reminiscent of the antique pieces sold by peddlars house to house in the horse drawn wagon days. Now. In a growing homeowner America, where consumer demand for retail products grew, they found their niche in creating lovely tin articles for kitchen ... moreuse and display. Many of their production wares are easily found, but tend to be overized trays difficult to store and use in today's smaller dwellings. This petite tray is only 7" x 8" with a scalloped gilded edge all original as made.a nice little winter fruit salad grouping of yellow gold and dark red colors of the season all on matte black surface front and back fully painted. This little gem is in excellent perfect condition for the tole collector complete with wire stretch wall hanger ready to go for any small space anywhere in your home. The hanger was twisted during photo shoot. I have straightened and tightened it now to perfection. Also, the fingerprints and dust have been corrected and removed with a terry cloth towel scrubbing after photo shoot as found. Small Primitive Vintage Hand Painted Toleware Tin Box Hinged Lid Spice Box or? I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and shop with another ebayer seller from out of town recently- a real catfish moment. Because we’ve talked for years, but never met! No surprises, just all fun and did we shop until we dropped! I have lots of very cool items for you that I will be listing all week. Enjoy! This old box is somewhat of a mystery to me. It's made from a metal that a magnet stick to- and it's light and definitely has the feel and weigh of tin. But if you look closely at the inside, it has a patination that looks very much like the pattern on galvanized steel(but this doesn't have the weight of steel) Look at my inside photos and see what you think- it's a first for me. The other thing that would support whether it's galvanized ... moreis that, although the metal shows darkness form age, it does not have rust- there's rust colored spots, but I do think that is from the paint. Whatever it's made of, it's held up very very well.this one is a charmer. Measuring 3" square and 2 1/2" tall, it is the size of the spice boxes that I have seen, but there's no name etc. on it. It weighs a smidge under 1/4 lb. It has a lovely hand painted finish- the background of the body is gold, and the top and bottom are black, and they are accented with flowers on all 4 sides in shades of rust, green, burgundy and grey. The top of the lid, and the sides of the lid have thin line hand painted borders too. The hinged lid works perfectly, and the lid fits well, and stays securely in place. It really is in excellent solid and sturdy condition overall- I can't find a ding. There is wear to the finish all over in small scratches and scrapes- it's easier to see at the solid black on top. There's also some palpable small white spots on all 4 sides- see photo 4 for a good example- those aren't paint chips, those are something on TOP of the paint- it feels like paper to me- as if this was wrapped i

Unusual. Miniature Toleware hand painted tin tray. This tray has some age and a little paint wear on some of the cherries. There is also some over rub marks as you can see in the photos. The tray measures 12" long by 8 1/4" wide and has a gold trim border and lovely painted fern-like leaves. A nice antique piece of Pennsylvania Dutch history!

Tin Tole Tip Tray Black Hand Painted Flowers Vintage
I don't know much at all about these things. its yard sale season and I try to grab vintage items no matter what they are) I actually had to search eBay just to figure out what to call it and to see what section to put it in. The tray is roughly 7 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches. I would give it a 94 to 95 out of 100% in condition. There are some small scratches that you have to hold the tray at an angle to see on the front. And a couple spots on bottom, but as you can see from pics it is a BEAUTIFUL- SOLID piece. I believe these are HAND Painted and this one is signed by the painter. TOO you can see on the back there is a HALLMARK stamp but I have no idea what company it is from. Thanks for looking!

For Sale is a 3 1/4" W by 4 1/2" Long Painted Tin English Box. Inside are adorable hand painted numbers from 1-8. The tin box is painted black with a lovely painting of three red/ pink roses with long greens and leaves. The tole numbers are painted black with pinks and blues making up the daisy- like flowers with green vines and leaves. Thereare tiny holes in the numbers for you to actually nail them and use them if you would like. They are absolutely adorable! I purchased these myself in an antique store about fifteen years ago. Unusual tole painted tin tray or bread basket measures 11" x 6 3/4" and is 2" deep at the center point. The design is done in dark green. Mustard and two shades of a russet pumpkin color. The finish is rough and aged but there is no paint loss and no dents in the tin. Tole painting became popular again in the mid 20th century and we believe this to be an example from that time period. Very pretty 12" x 17" tole tray. The design is done in gold powders and gold leaf highlighted in umber and etched to define the flower petals. The work is reasonably well-skilled and done by M.B. in 1954 as indicated in the signature on the reverse. It shows some signs of use: scratches on the back. Two small areas of paint loss on the rim one of 1/4" x 1/16" and one 1/2" x 1/8" There is a rough mark on the floor of the tray just above the large flower which can be seen in photo#3 and a tiny dent with no paint loss that appears as a gray dot on photo#3 to the right above the leaf spray. This piece of hand painted tole came from a Cape Cod Antique collector's Estate and though it is quite distressed I thought it was beautifully hand decorated. It reminded me of PETER HUNT"S work but I have no idea if this could be his or not. The tole painting is highly defined and intricate. The main two handled tin measures 4 1/2" high and 9 1/8" diameter-handles are damaged and the rim of the handled cover(handle is also pushed over) has separated- there is paint loss but with all this I feel this is a beauty. Large Vintage Artist Hand Painted Tin Toleware Tole Maroon & Floral Serving Tray
Up for auction is a beautiful large artist hand painted Toleware tin tray with beautiful maroon and floral motif. This tray is 21 1/2" long x 16" wide x 1 1/2" high. The artwork is bright and colorful beautiful flowers with accent details in the sides and corners in gold. Very classic maroon background over the pierced designed tin tray. The back shows an original Artist Studios sticker with a vintage look and Phila. Pennsylvania address. There are no dents but some wear from use and cleaning. I don't know the age of this piece but I would guess 1960's-70's just by the sticker. It is not a new tray. Artist Studios is well shown on the internet as a vintage toleware studio. This beautifully had painted floral Tole oval tin measures approx. 5 1/8" high x 7 1/8" wide x 4 3/4" deep. It sits on 4"feet" The original The Netter Line label is still attached on the bottom. 6 Pc Vintage Toleware Tole Hand Painted Tin Antique Lot
This is a beautiful lot of toleware. Some of which is signed by the artist! The lot features a range of items that would be a great gift for the collector. The items are as follows: 1. The largest piece in the lot is a primitive wood bucket that is hand painted in a maroon color. It measures 11" tall and about 13" in diameter at the top. It would be a great decorative piece and could also work as a trash can or could be hung on the wall. 2. This early tin dustpan has a beautiful hand painted design on a black base. The colors are bright and when you flip the pan over you can see the age on this early tin dust pan. It measures 12" across the front and with the hole in the handle could easily hang on the wall. 3. This green pitcher features a painted handle and even had the raised lettering that makes it even more unique. The ... morelettering states"Savory 1 qt Liq. US standard apprd Penna serial 33 New Jersey New York City. It measures approx 6 inches tall and does have some minor denting and a small split in the spout that isn't very noticeable. This piece is signed on the bottom. 4. The next piece in this lot is a covered tin canister that is also signed on the bottom. It measures 7" tall with the lid and 4" in diameter. Great for display and organization. 5. The last two pieces are primitive shovels that feature cherries and strawberries painted on them. They are unsigned and measure about 9" in length. very large tin tray hand painted apprx size 25 inches by 19 inches black tray with what looks like faded gold paint around edge flowers/floral design colors are pale yellows- peaches- rose red- oranges and a bit of blue and green it has wear on it- the paint is chipped and worn off in places but it is still so lovely this is a very large beautiful tray with a wonderful shape it is marked art gift hand painted alcohol resistant phila.
