Sort of a medium blue. Not too bright but not too dark, gorgeous floral painting with the dragonfly. This has lots of Gold accenting around the outter edges of the center portion and along the outter edges of the tray. It is just initialed by the painter, I found no name. I ... moredid find one issue on the tray, other than normal wear which is not much. It will be shown in the photos below. This measures 15 1/4" across. I charge actual shipping. No hidden anything! Big Tole Toleware Painted Floral Primitive Wood Wooden Spoon Fork/Spork Vintage
28" wooden primitive toleware spoon and fork(which is more like a spork really) They have orange-ish painted flowers on there. They sorta look like poinsettias but the color seems wrong. The finish or lacquer? has turned gray and is crazing/flaking off. It does give it a very shabby chic look. Some paint has went with it but not bad. They feel very"dry" but it is because of the flaking finish. I would leave them exactly like they are but spray with a clear polyurethane to preserve them in their current state and keep them from further deterioration. In AS IS condition. This is a vintage Italian Florentine wooden box that has hand painting and gold gilding. The scene features a group of cherubs dancing around a tree and several in the tree as well as women and cherubs playing in the background. It's a beautiful and detailed picture which is printed and glued onto the box. The box has floral detail edging on the top and repetitive motifs around the edges on the rest of the box. The color is a deep green and gold metallic gilding that has been washed with an antique finish. The box has a metal hinge and is varnished wood on the inside. There is a paper card that says"This Italian wooden article is hand-crafted in Florence gold leaf is applied to the prepared wooden surface. Which is then decorated and burnished by hand in keeping with the traditional Florentine mediaeval process. There is also a sticker ... moreon the bottom of the box. This beautiful jewelry box measures approx.10.75" across the front by 7.25" deep and just over 5" tall. It features a red velvet-lined interior to store your treasures. Florentine Toleware 14 & 1/2" Octagonal Wooden Tray Gold & Green Italy
This is an unusal octagonal shaped wooden tray that was hand made in Italy. The original label is still on the back. It measures 14 and 1/2 inches in length. The colors are primarily green and gold with an inside border of a beige-ish color. The design looks like pop art. Or is it op art? The little green circles with black dots inside of them kind of jump out at your eyes. The photos do not do the design justice. The tray is in very good used condition and does have some minor paint loss which is not unusual for it's age but it doesn't detract from the uniqueness of the artwork. This is definitely a one of a kind tray both for it's shape and the decoration. Shipping will be $6.00 to the continental United States

Vintage Toleware Tole Painted Wooden Box. Footed Offered here is a vintage wooden Toleware Tole painted box. It stands on 4 small round feet and measures about 12 1/2” by 5 1/2” by 4 1/2” and is n good condition with some slight wear. The painted curved top has some light scratches and scuffs. Minor paint loss and a chip(see photos) Inside there is a spot of old paint. There are no cracks or splits in the wood. The box still displays nicely. Check out my! Most items I offer are vintage.
